Hotel Schillingshof

The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh. The highlight was that you can prepare your own Mimosa to start your day.

The elevators and some of the facilities seems very old like from the 90s. Its not so bad, but you can tell that the hotel stayed a little back in time.

Hotel is huge and the wellness area is very nice, there is entertainment room, restaurant and breakfast is pretty nice

a very nice hotel with good food and staff and resonable prices at yhe bar. The location is very nice also.

It was a little more pricey than i would normally pay but the service and food made up for that. could of had tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

The breakfast was amazing and had lot of options with great variety. Their croissants are the best.

Some games for the kids and toddlers.

The service was mixed and at times just unhelpfulBeing told that we could not take our breakfast coffe out of dining room was just odd and inhospitable. I have not encountered this before. Requesting a cordial drink a commonplace drink and told simply we do t do this was again strange a bit fawlty towers and to be frank unexpected from a hotel which is 4 star and not cheap.

Staff in the restaurant were amazing. Upon stating I had allergies I had a meal freshly made with staff happy to help

The bedroom didn’t have USB ports otherwise location is perfect.

Very welcoming and very comfortable. The view from our room was fabulous and very relaxing. The food was delicious and beautifully presented from a good choice of dishes.

Expensive. We were there to attend the passion play so didn't get the full benefits of the facility.

Breakfast was great. Didn’t like the charge for a drink of tap water. View was spectacular! Staff was very helpful. Would definitely come again.

Had no air conditioning in 87° weather. need to have a room unit for AC

spa facility, swimming pool, sauna, fitness etc. even if there was not snow it was enough to ejoy. Breaksfest was delicious

It was very clean and the personell was friendly and helpful. Lovely view from the balcony. The room was large and bright.

The room did not have a ventilation/air conditioning system. The bathroom was old and small. The shower was integrated in an old bathtub. There is no option to lunch/dine a la carte at the hotel so you either pay 32€ p.p or drive to a local restaurant to eat. The breakfast buffet was open only until 10. The breakfast quality was okay. The stay there is not worth 200€/ night.

Great location, nice outdoor seating and good breakfast buffet, liked the clean spacious room with balcony but missed a hot water maker for tea or coffee!

Staff had an attitude and just the way they told us about Corona rules - was just not in a nice customer friendly way! I asked for fresh pepper and the pointed to salt and pepper at the table instead of bringing the pepper grinder … we experienced no good tone/ atmosphere between the staff! We did not think staff was well trained for a 4 star location!

Pretty much everything else. We were seated in some awful conference room for breakfast with limited selection and service while other guests were in the nicer restaurant. No reason on what basis this unequal treatment happened was given. Same for parking, there was free parking for some early guests and a paid garage (hotel owned) for everyone else. Pretty much every employee was unfriendly and gave you the impression you were bothering them. They snapped at me ("mask on!!!") for not wearing a mask outside the building after I had arrived 10 mins earlier. Bar service was slow and minimal. The breakfast was nothing special. For the price this not a good hotel.
