    Pros +

    • Excellent room with balcony and outstanding view of the Rhine River
    • Nice room. Very nice staff.
    • The location on the waterfront near the restaurants was nice, as was the room having a balcony with at least a side view of the Rhein. The breakfast was nice, had a view of the Rhein and staff was friendly. Room was clean albeit somewhat dated.

    Cons -

    • I had planned to stay in another hotel. Without my knowledge I was diverted to this property. It wasn’t apparent that I was “ Halbpension”. We didn’t need this additional service.
    • The beds are terrible
    • No sign in pool area with rules like no jumping in. This was an issue with self-centered inconsiderate guests who, instead of raising their kids right raise them to be inconsiderate spoiled brats and think their kids should be able to do whatever they want without impunity. The hotel doesn't really cater to kids. Management needs to do something about this situation there - the pool is small and there needs to at least be a basic sense of decorum there for all guests to be able to enjoy.

Great location, friendly staff, generous buffet breakfast, good sized sauna but small pool, single room adequate size. Plus was a Mini fridge in room. Large parking area, Close to restaurants and Edeka! Walking distance to Spa Gardens and ferry

In general the place feels a little tired, but it is not unkept. Would have appreciated a hot water jug in the room for a cuppa in between.

The location of the hotel is very good.. Breakfast, plenty of choice , good freshly ground coffee machine available, big plus.

We booked this hotel through Booking.com. we selected our room from the photos in the category we were paying for. ie. Twin room with a river view. The room we selected had large picture windows, great, we thought, the room was overlooking the Rhine in Bad Bresig Germany. The room they gave us had a very small window, nothing like what we had selected. I asked at reception if we could have the room we booked. No, she said. The pictures are for marketing purposes. In fact, this room style did not exist for the category we had paid for.!!!! And she wouldn't upgrade us for free either. So, false advertising. Not good, so, therefore, not satisfactory or value for money.

As others also reviewed, the furniture is old, same as the Spa, but the size of the family room , the fantastic river view and the location definetly make up for it. I really don t remember such a big room in any hotel where we stayed. And it was all carpeted. Our little one was very happy to run around :) The food, both buffet and the evening menu, was really outstanding. So all in all I warmly recommend this hotel. The newer ones have much higher prices.

    Location and food were good.

Beds are absolutely horrible unfortunately. This hotel would be amazing if it was not for the terrible beds.

    Nothing really

    Location.

Room was a little tired. Bathroom small with broken tiles. No headboard on the bed and then a large gap to the wall behind you so unable to read or look at IPad with nothing to lean back on. We’re told when we checked in that the hotel was full therefore there was only a buffet available in the restaurant at 27 euros per head.

The location was good as we were travelling through Germany from Hungary. The area and surroundings were also nice.

The room was different from the pictures. The corridor and the room was very old fashion and the carpet had bad smell in the corridor and in tge room. The bed was two single beds put together with wood in the middle and wooden shelf at the head. There was a loud noise in the room at the whole night, it seemed like a ventilation noise but it didn’t stop at all. The kids room had a window which didn’t have blind or curtain and it looked to the hotel corridor. Every time when the light came up in the corridor the kids room lightened up.The hotel description said it has an inside pool, and the pictures of the pool looked nice, but it was really disappointing that the pool was cold and small. It was more likely a pool to use after sauna.

Location is good. Would have liked to have stayed longer and explore the local area. More convenient than Bad Honingen for Nurburgring.

Lack of parking but no different to any hotel during the summer season.

    Location fantastic!

Very helpful receptionist to look for a more suitable room for my disabled husband

The included buffet breakfast was amazing! I can't get over how good these European breakfasts are. I skip the needless carbs (wonderful sweet rolls, bread, etc.) and head for the fresh cut fruit, yoghurt, and muesli. The bonus here was a hot buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. I was fully fueled for a long bike ride, and also brought along some apples and kiwis for the rest of the day on the bike.

The bathroom was a little dated, it's time for a refresh. Also, I paid extra to get a room with a balcony, and ended up with one along the side of the building when I was hoping for a river facing one. I didn't end up spending that much time in the room anyway, but it would have been nice to see the boats going by.

Good breakfast, great location, stayed there the previous year also

Room a bit small, very bad pillow, bed linen not great, unlike last year which was better.
