This family-run hotel offers rooms with balconies overlooking the Rhine Promenade. It is a 1-minute walk from Bad Breisig’s ferry port and a 15-minute walk from the train station. Individually furnished rooms are offered at the 3-star superior Hotel Rhein-Residenz. All rooms include a bathroom and hairdryer. Guests can relax in the Rhein-Residenz’s Finnish sauna or Roman steam bath. The Rhein-Residenz offers rental bicycles for exploring the Rhein-Westerwald Nature Park. The nearby ferries travel to Bad Hönningen, and Bad Breisig Train Station provides direct services to Bonn. We do not have a night porter and ask you to arrive by 7 pm.

- We chose this for the location, but especially since it is wheelchair accessible - (through an external lift which must be operated by staff). Good adjacent independently owned restaurant. Nice and helpful front desk staff - Simone and Fedor. On Sunday morning Fedor let us know he is available anytime a phone call away - to help us with the wheelchair lift. Also to operate the lift when we go out for supper.

- Hardly no warm water, and until you get warmish water you have to wait at least 10 minutes.WiFi doesn’t work well at all. Keeps getting disconnected. They didn’t clean the room. Not a very good breakfast.

- On Sunday, our last evening of two, we enjoyed a traditional German restaurant nearby and were back at barely 8 pm. While Fedor was operating the lift, the junior owner came and asked how many more days we were going to stay. She said we cannot use the lift in the evening and we should not eat out while there is a restaurant on the premises. That was not necessary and left a negative impression on our stay. Our rooms were cold for the first 24 hrs due to a malfunctioning furnace however that she did not mention or offer any apologies.

Especially enjoyed the free water in our rooms and coffee available in the lobby. Also loved the water pressure!
We opted for the apartment and so glad we did, loads of space both lounge and bedroom. Both had balcony's overlooking the Rhein. Room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. Staff were very friendly. We arrived by motorcycle and it was offered that we could keep them in the garage which was very kind however we decided on keeping them outside in the small parking area so not to disturb the owners when we needed to get to them.
Not a lot really. Was looking for wifi but could not find it, probably more our fault due to language barrier.
