Hotel Schwanenweiher Bad Bertrich

Pros +

• I would have preferred a fried egg(s) for breakfast - I did not ask (for a fried egg) mainly as I approach such a matter with a counter-thought, it was not offered, so that settles that. I am not altogether keen on boiled or scrambled eggs. The bed was very, very comfortable and fully accommodated my height. There is in my opinion a lack of double power-points (next to the night-lockers) in the bedroom to comfortably keep our two mobile phones loaded to the maximum. In each case the available power-point was connected to the bedside lamp, so unplugging needed to take place.
• Cleanliness, Location & Room Size
• Location is fantastic, Bad Bertrich is a nice place to have a rest. The Room is ok, only a glass door for the toilet and blocking the light switch could be done different.

• Glass door of the toilet ?
• Nobody at the reception at 15:00 and no sign. At 15:15 the man came in, didn't ask our names but told us his wife was in hospital, gave the keys and told breakfast was between 8:00 and 9:00. Next day we were thrown out of the breakfast room because they said we were in a part of the hotel from another owner, we should go downstairs to the restaurant, opening at 9:00.During breakfast we were spoken to by the female owner that we had complaints but got a better room for € 50 so we shoudn't complain although we had a booking for a superior room for a lot more per night. All and all it was pretty chaotic, uncomfortable and didn't feel like a warm welcome.
