    • I love Everything! This hotel is a true gem in Monastir. Great staff, exceptional breakfast. The gentleman (forgot his name he works during day), Yousra (works during night time), Tasneem and Naheed (trainees) were very friendly professional and helpful!!!! The cleaning staff and servers were also very polite.
    • The staff the magement the cleaners where absolutley wonderful very clean and central to everything in town i wil be coming back to stay again? loved my stay ??

    Cons -

    • I had booked a room with a sea view, but there was a long distance between the room and the sea, whereas I had booked the most expensive room just so we could have a sea view.
    • Required some wear and tear in the rooms with furniture and doors
    • Some of the furniture in the room was slightly tired given the price of the stay.

I stayed here for over a month, this is an old but extremely spacious and clean hotel with wonderful staff in the very best location in Monastir.Mr. Soufian at reception, on my requesting, gave me a wonderful spacious room with balcony and fantastic views over the Cap Marina and sea.Hearing the sea waves come crashing to shore every night was truely a uniquely memorable experience.Thank you so much Mr. Soufian for your kindness and also to the really great staff in the kitchens and the bedroom cleaners too.The food was excellent, freshly squeezed orange juice every morning, freshly baked bread, pancakes, doughnuts, the chap making the delicious omelettes, always with a kindly smile, home made yoghurt, various savoury dishes, amazing tastes!I can't praise them highly enough!

Massive clean and comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel itself was impressive, if a little tired. Breakfast options were extremely varied. Great location close to the marina and all Monastir has to offer.

Some of the furniture in the room was slightly tired given the price of the stay.

The room was amazing. I was so surprised. I have lived in Tunisia for over 20 years and this may have been the best room that my wife and I had. The food in the restaurant was good but limited due to low season.

It was a great experience…the room was very comfortable with beautiful design … very helpful and kind staff especially the gentleman at the counter

Food was okay and the location was convenient.

I am absolutely appalled by my experience at this hotel. I reserved a room for two nights, and my stay was ruined by a complete lack of professionalism and respect from Ahmed, who is ironically the Guest Relations responsible. We had a minor disagreement that could have been resolved calmly, but instead, Ahmed shouted at us, raised his voice, and even brought a bodyguard as though we were threatening him. His behavior was aggressive and completely disrespectful. What’s worse, he demanded my personal ID, forcibly took it from me, and scanned it without my consent, which is an extreme violation of privacy. I felt coerced into handing it over because of the presence of the bodyguard. This is not only unprofessional but also illegal. In addition to this, the room was poorly set up, and the toilet wasn’t working properly. Despite these issues, the most upsetting part of my stay was the way I was treated. For me, respect and professionalism are non-negotiable, and Ahmed displayed neither. I am left with no choice but to rate my experience 1/5.I hope the management addresses this serious issue, as no guest should ever be treated in such a way.

    Location

Rooms are small and not well equipped. There wasn’t any welcome bottle of water, coffee maker or water kettle. Just small bottles of shampoo and body gel. No A/C in room and Wi-Fi very temperamental in room. Breakfast buffet was OK.Shower drain didn’t drain well so it would overflow.

I think hotel should do some renovations, it ok but totally different than hotels in Hammamet. Personal are ok, but nothing superp exept Hlel Ahmed. He speaks really good english and he is very helpful for all matters.

    Room, swimming pool

Impolite staff upon check-in, in late afternoon. very bad communication. They wanted to charge us the stay-tax that was already paid, as other hotel staff told us the next day. After paying upon checking out, they called me back to the hotel from the parking (!) to go to the reception and pay an extra 30 euros appr. I did not understand what that was about and why they had not charged me that amount, upon checking out. In sum, problematic check-in and check-out.

lovely pool, great views, amazing room.

Great location with easy walk to the Ribat (fortress), city center, railway station and restaurants. Pools were large and clean and breakfast was plentiful.

    Property is a bit dated.

the room is not similar to the ones in the pictures posted on the website. It smelled very bad, shame on you, everything should have been perfect for the money I paid

the room and a lady at the reception when I said that the air conditioner is not working and there is a bad smell in the room

    2HatemPosted on: 7-22-2024

The buffet presentation was poor, the cooks and the waiters were touching food so the their bar hands , not hygienic . For the bucks paid is poor quality and service does not exist in the restaurant.

The towels in the room the first days were smelling bad , the light bulbs in the bathroom about to diffuse and was reported to the reception , but no follow up .

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, funny and kind! They really made it worth it.The pool was nice, too and I felt very safe as a solo traveller coming here.

My bathroom wasn't clean, they charge you so much for a towel, it's a bit of a walk from the local sites. I wish they encouraged you to leave the hotel a bit more and to spend money outside the resort.

Good location next to the marina, the room was very spacious and with a nice view

The wifi was bad and the furniture is old. I requested a maintenance technician to repair the toilet flush and it was repaired.

The room was large and nice, the bed was good and soft to sleep in. The bathroom was ok. The receptionist welcomed us in a good way. Resturant was verry nice dekorasjon. Nice colour

This hotel was very boring, nothing that happened was dark and sad, it was empty there, don't know if it was because it was winter time. The food didn't taste that good, not much to choose from either. The soup just tasted like water. And the rest of the food was tasteless. The bar was big but not good to sit on the chairs.

Location was good, breakfast was good and restaurant staff were very nice. Room was very nice and had enough space for a family. Nice view from the room. Walking distance to the harbour/restaurants and the medina.

Very cold SPA and not organised. I felt left alone and did not know where to go/what to do and the facility was cold, including the massage room and bathtub/jacuzzi included in the treatment had cold water. Reception staff could improve their work, organization and attitude.

Nice and impressive lobby, great breakfast, great location and free cosy parking. Indoor pool.

The cleanness is … basic? So much dust under the beds for instance. The cleaning ladies dust and wipe only the main surfaces. Furniture in the room is pretty but useless as one can’t even open the drawers. The path to indoor pool (through hotel corridors) is not illuminated as lightbulbs are broken … so you often have to navigate with a phone torch.
