Pros +
- comfy beds and very accommodating staff
- If there is no problem, you might have an ok experience, but if there is, apparently, staff feel entitled to yell at you and treat you like they are the prison warden and you are the inmate. To be fair, the person working the next morning was very nice and professional, as she had been before. She apologized and told me that a defect light cable was the problem. It seemed like a safety hazard to me and it was unclear since when they knew or if they had worked on it while I was not in my room.
- Not far from La Defense area. Several shops around for basic needs.
Cons -
- our room had no light from the outside
- Avoid this place, crazy things happen thereThe hotel itself is less than average, my room was extremely small, no door at the toilet, not very clean, and extremely noisy. One evening I came back and no lights in my room were working. I told the person at the reception and she said she already knew. For the next hour I sat in the dark and nothing happened. When I came back down to politely ask for a light, she was chatting on her phone and immediately got aggressive, tearing into me for inconveniencing her. I seriously got yelled (!) at for not being able to speak French and told there was nobody who could be reached, who could communicate with me in English at all (in 2026, in Paris!). I asked to speak to a manager, she told me “I am the manager”. The next minutes she spent typing offensive messages into her phone and shoving their translations into my face (“Who do you think you are? You do not tell me what to do”).It was bizarre. If somebody told me, I would have said they exaggerated. For another two hours, the light did not get fixed, but she continued to be rude, coming up with reasons why this was my fault, such as my laptop charger must be the problem. After hours, I was told to pack my things in the dark and move to an identical room one floor down, but I first had to show her that my laptop did not cause the lights to blow out. The receptionist was so far removed from any even remotely professional conduct, it was actually frightening. If people behave this unstable and out-of-role, there is no telling what they might do next. I travel a lot and have never experienced anything even close to this. As a hotel, how can you let this happen and have somebody out-of-control like this work there without oversight? If you have any other option, my recommendation is to avoid this place.
- Too tiny. Breakfast is a joke. Overated. I was deceived by the rating on booking.com. I dont know how they got so highly rated.

The customer serviceProximity to Paris. It was not too far the city of love It was decently clean
Was just really small
Nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good facilities. Tasty breakfast. Just 7 min walk to Putueax station.
Good location and everything was clean !
Room and bathroom was very small
Good evening.. Hello dear I found the Vivaldi Hotel, where I stayed, clean. Unfortunately, the bathroom was very small, and I had difficulty showering and using the toilet. The bathroom is an important part of a visitor's stay, as well as sleeping.Thank you. See you soon.
This is a lovely, spotlessly clean hotel in a quiet location. The staff are exceptionally polite and welcoming. Most of the reception staff speak excellent English, and the others I spoke to spoke at least a little English, and were very patient with my attempts to recall my O-level French! I had a single room, which was pretty small (though I did know this in advance), and was very well equipped, with a comfortable bed. I especially liked the controllable aircon! Although the hotel has 4 floors, thankfully there is a lift. Breakfast (continental) was delicious, and very reasonable at €14 per person.
Nothing, really. Maybe squeezing a minibar (which are standard in their double rooms) into the single rooms (I found the perfect space!) and providing teaspoons in the room to stir your tea/ coffee. Also, Booking.com states that the hotel "reserves the right" to apply a security deposit to your credit card in advance of your arrival. I think this must be a mistranslatuon of the original French on Booking.com's part, because the hotel receptionist told me it is the hotel's standard policy to always take a security deposit in advance. You do get the whole security deposit back about a day or so after you check out, though.
Friendly reception staffRestaurants nearbyVery quiet
The room was clean and the staff were really friendly. Would stay again, the beauty of our location was a bonus too.
The staff were absolutely delightful. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything needed.
Nothing; it’s a fab boutique hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet situation. Nearby a nice cafe. Good train links to the city centre.
Noisy people arrived on the second night (I think on the floor above) and kept me awake most of the night banging about and wheeling suitcases.
Nice cozy hotel in a quiet and pleasant suburb of Paris. Had all the amenities required for a short stay and an uncomplicated check-in and check-out.
The room very small filled with outdated furnishings.
Everything. Exception of friendly staff.
Good stuff!!! Kind and polite. Communication via e-mail on high level, any and any request finds salvation as soon as it can be made. Good breakfast. Any coffee at daytime is provided by request with normal price.
Room with double bed was a little bit small (we had 3 suitcases) Not enough space to spend the time in the room. 15 min. walk to nearest metro station with many steps up.
They clean your room everyday when you go outThe TV enables you to connect your phone .
Pre authorisationThere is a pre-authorisation fee of €100 which they take from you with no warning soon after you make the booking. They keep this as insurance and you still have to pay for the room in full even though they say no prepayment needed on booking.com. They took this payment from me twice and when I arrived, they admitted the error and 'cancelled' the second payment and said it should be with me soon but I still had to pay in full and did not receive the refund for the duration of my stay.RoomThe room was right in the reception so we woke up to the sound of people having breakfast. The room was also very small with a pullout bed and looked nothing like the photos.BagsPerhaps because of the location of the room, there were a bunch of bags (probably belonging to other guests) right in front of the door of the room for the whole time we were there.KeysYou are asked to leave your keys when you go out in the morning so they can clean the room.Air conditioningThere was no remote for the air conditioning. When I asked about it, the person at the desk was surprised and asked if it wasn't in the room. The air conditioning also did not work the entire time we were there so it was very hot. Mini fridgeThere was a mini fridge but it was off and you can't turn it on. They do have a fridge behind reception where you can ask to put things.BathroomThe bathroom shower door leaked unto the floor but they did clean the room every day so this was not a big issue. StaffThe staff changes every day and depending on who you get they may or may not be able to solve your problem.
Apparently, there is nothing about the property due to the experience we have had. I have had a very bad experience with the hotel and their staff. I wouldn’t recommend this 3 star hotel for the price their charge and the type of service you get.
The property must have had air conditioner and that was one of the criteria to book this hotel. Unfortunately, I was provided room number 105 and the air conditioner was not working and I reported to the reception immediately but the hotel couldn’t do anything and ended up sleeping with the windows open. ( Paris weather could get warm in June ). The hotel think this is perfectly ok to do so even after paying the full price.I requested for a room change and they couldn’t offer me for the first night but could only do it for the 2nd night ( upon my request to find a solution). I hope booking.com can help me and the other guests who may chose to book this hotel
Great location and great value for money
The room was perfect but the shower was a bit small. However, the room and bathroom were very clean and well serviced during the stay
the staff was really nice
the breakfast was awfull, not a lot of variety, hard bread and eggs were not edible
The rooms are clean , the location close of l'esplanade de la defense metro station makes it easier to go wherever you want
The smaller rooms didn't have the minibar , and the bathroom is extremely small , but it's understandable in Paris where the prices are extremely high per square meter
