    Pros +

    • The location is perfect
    • Breakfast was amazing, cute rooms, good snack bar in the lobby, great price.
    • The hotel has very practical approaches to making one's stay comfortable. The restaurant has an excellent menu, with affordable prices and delicious choices. The staff at reception helped me with printing documents which I had to send via courier, and went beyond my expectations. The location was perfect for my meetings in the area and close to other restaurants in the neighbourhood.

    Cons -

    • Staff is passive-aggressive, not to the point of being point blank rude but still. Unhelpful when I went to say internet wasn’t working well. Blamed my cell phone. My check in was delayed by over one hour. I got there around the check in time and the excuse they gave that my room wasn’t ready is that the other guests who were occupying my room wouldn’t leave ?
    • You are outside of the core neighborhoods in Paris and traffic will take you over an hour to get places. We traveled around at less busier times and it solved for that.
    • Night shift reception guy not friendly.Temperature too high in building n room.

    The location was OK

the rooms were not clean at all!We had a disgusting stain on the pillow! The room were dusty! The bed not squeeky and uncomfortable. Will never stay at a Mercure Hotel again.

it is an old property; however what needs to be kept functional has been upgraded (pluming, air co, hairdryer, tv, wifi, bedding). so it is very comfortable and efficient. You dont hear the sound of the street which is super important as you are near the perif)Staff is excellent, they exceed expectation. Smiling and super efficient.

Had a bathtub. Relatively quiet. No crowds. Had 2 tv’s in the room.

The room and much of the property smelled like a backed-up sewer. So much so that our “suite” smelled like a public mens bathroom.

The bed is really comfortable, sheets are soft. I love Nuxe cosmetics.

    4YokoPosted on: 3-11-2024

    Not so good as expected

The facility was not up-to date and the amenity goods were very limited. The service was good except for the fact that my luggage was took away from the luggage area by a tourist group bus.

The selection at breakfast was excellent. The coffee was average. Although it came from ground beans, it did not taste great. The orange juice was very nice.

The room was a little on the small side and the air conditioning was either too warm or too cold. It was hard to find the right middle ground.

    Staff

Air conditioning, Price of the room and the size of the room.(very small with very low roof and insanely expensive). Also the card machine gave a lot of trouble for payment process. They did not even have an umbrella for emergency situations.

Great location Nice quiet neighborhood for a family

Noise from pipes in the middle of the night almost as though there was maintenance work going on. Lift is tiny for stroller Breakfast is well over priced at 19.50 for what’s on offer.

The location of the hotel is convenient, close to metro station and the highway too. There are supermarkets and bakeries close by, parking is available at a daily fee.The room is clean and all necessary amenities were available.

    - room was spacious & the property was helpful to communicate with any issues

    - there was no air conditioning- wifi constantly dropping out- breakfast was sub par - there is nothing in the surrounding area to do and public transport is at least a 15 minute walk away- they don’t provide you cutlery in your room

Location was 5 mins from my office but other than that not a lot of nice things to say

Air con was blowing out warm air. When I went to reception they said it was set across the hotel at 8c degrees below the outdoor tempreture. It was 32 C in Paris! Decor was something out of the 60s, shower over the bath was not great and water would suddenly go hot and really cold. In the end I ran the bath which was not ideal as it was not exactly large.Toilet was the height of a toad stool. So didn't encourage me to sit down and yes some men out there like to sit and not stand!Floor in the bath rool was not clean around the corners of the bath sink surround and toilet.Stains in areas of the carpet were visible foruntely the dark rouge colour carpet sort of hid them. And finally value for.money was crazy as I paid just under £200 euros per night but it's Paris and 8 was there for work. But I would have been pissed off if it it was my money spent on this substandard 4 star hotel. Sorry that it doesn't paint a roset picture but I have not stayed in a hotel like this for the money that was paid. Avoid unless you need the location for work like I did.

Good location. Close to many convenient restaurants that are open late, next to a grocery store, short walk into outer-Paris near university, and of course the neighborhoods with lovely pastry shops.

Air conditioning could use a bit more oomph. Had to change rooms because air wasn’t working properly in our first room.. and the second room was just so-so. Our party had another room, and that AC was absolutely fantastic.

The breakfast was average but the lady on duty on Saturday 1st April could not have been nicer; friendly and helpful

We had to ask for new cups/ glasses as well as coffee/milk for the room as they weren't replaced after day 1
