XVI Suites - Adults Only

The staffs were the kindest people ever, the breakfast was great, as I have gluten and dairy free diet they had so many options and the staffs always very friendly and caring to provide me with everything that I wanted to eat. Everything was 100%, I would recommend and I hope to come back again soon.

The room was big enough and well decorated. The breakfast and restaurant are good. The view is nice

TOO NOISY, the Hotel is next to a big road and there is a lot of traffic! They are during kind of racing with moto during the weekend. We had a nice terrace, but we couldn't stay because of the noise of the road, the smell of the kebab truck on the street and the construction of a new building!We left the hotel two days in advance!

Staff were super accommodating and friendly. The hotel itself is quite comfortable and peaceful.

The pool area was very dusty and dirty, seems like it's not cleaned on a daily basis. Found toenail clippings underneath the sunbeds which sums it up.

The staff is very welcoming without being over intrusive. The breakfast is great. I always pre-ordered the night before but I'm not sure if it speeds up the service. Still, if you're going to a place like this normally you're in no hurry. I could choose a savory dish and a sweet dish and both didn't disappoint. Go for the eggs Benedict and the granola bowl! On the third day the waiter already came with my OJ and black coffee before I asked. And at the end of my meal he asked if I wanted an espresso, since I had one the day before. Nice touch. The rooftop and pool are great, but there are some flaws (detailed in the didn't like section).I had dinner on the hotel restaurant (ELBA) on the first night. The food and service was good and not overly priced.

On my second day at the pool I arrived to the pool deck to find all 6 empty beds with new rolled towels on them (there are more beds but only 6 next to the pool). The hotel staff said they were reserved and I could not take them, but when I asked how the reservation system works and why no one advised me they said there is no system and it was a special request. Not fare and I was not the only one complaining. Another couple was also not happy about it and with good reason.Smoking is apparently allowed everywhere to my surprise. So you can be in the pool and if someone next to you decides do smoke, yes, even inside the pool, that is as it seems permissable.The hotel is sea front so you have the beautiful view but also next to a very noisy road. On Saturday night I heard the motorcycles all night. The sound proof in the hotel room is not great.

A perfect place to stay if walking the Malta Coastal Walk. Reception staff and breakfast wait staff were friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and felt very opulent and breakfast included was excellent.

Modern and cozy hotel, really cool rooftop bar and pool. The hotel is in a good position to explore the island (by car, uber/ bolt or bus). The staff is very nice. Delicious breakfast, we also ate at the ELBA restaurant for dinner and was reallly good.

A wonderful place. Elegant yet cosy, care to every detail was given; spacious and clean, lovely barhroom. Bed super comfy. Joy to come back to after exploring. Breakfast was amazing, breakfast dishes elevated to art. A la carte but can be prebooked the night before and ready at a given time to skip the wait. Restaurant is great for dinner too. Lovely staff. Access very easy with the bus stop right in front of the hotel and direct buses to the airport, Valletta and Gozo ferry. Would definitely stay again.

My room was by the road and it was hiper loud the whole night every night. Couldn’t leave the window open and the room temperature couldn’t be adjusted and it was too hot

The fabric of the property and the facilities were top notch. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. Pool and bar on the roof a great plus.

Sadly the proximity to the road made for quite a lot of noise although not so obvious when using the rooftop facilities . The beautiful rooms just need an additional mirror close to the hairdryer point - not easy to dry hair without a mirror.

Breakfast was fabulous every morning and Elba restaurant was delicious. The room and decor was gorgeous.

We found it difficult to sleep as we were at the front of the building and we didn't find the bed super comfy.

We stayed at this accomodation for three nights and had a truly wonderful experience. Both the structure and our room were beautiful and newly renovated. The rooftop, with its bar and pool, was absolutely stunning. What really made the difference, though, was the staff — they welcomed us warmly and were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. Truly exceptional service. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, more like a full meal! It’s hard to imagine a better stay than this!

Staff were very friendly although maybe shouldn’t presume that there had been a mistake when two guys check in to the same room. This was a common misconception that a few staff commented on and we were referred to as room mates. I get it and it’s not an issue… just something for next time.

Overall, we had a good stay at the hotel. One downside was the lack of soundproofing – during the first nights we could hear every door slam in the corridor. However, after mentioning it to the staff, they were incredibly kind and responsive, and immediately offered us a room farther from the entrance, which solved the issue.The hotel is located on a main road – very convenient, as there’s a bus stop right outside. But keep in mind that if you open your window at night, you might hear traffic or the occasional street race.Our holiday began in April, and unfortunately it was still too early in the season for the air conditioning to be switched on. For us, the nights felt a little too warm.The biggest highlight of our stay was definitely the staff – everyone was exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. They really made us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout our visit.

Roof top area wasn’t open due to weather from the days before and pool was cold. If it was a heated pool it would have been perfect.

This is the best hotel I've ever been to. Clean, beautiful, great staff. I'll definitely be back.

The hotel is beautiful, with elegant decor, super comfortable bed, very pleasant staff, like Mohammad, head of operations, helped us to make our stay much better, very good breakfast with a la carte options. Also there is nice restaurant Elba, just next door

There is no information that when you stay they have to block €50 on your card, in case you consume something from the minibar, nowhere in the reservation is this mentioned, such as reservation policies or even reservation conditions, you only find out when you arrive to check in.

The room is very comfortable and clean. The restaurant has a delicious breakfast and friendly staff. We really like the beach next to the hotel where there is a Macedonian restaurant where you can have a drink or eat something. The hotel is away from the city crowds which we also really liked.

We had a fantastic stay at XVI Suits from March 2nd to 7th. The hotel is beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast and dinner were always delicious. The entire staff, from reception (special thanks to Muhammad) to housekeeping and restaurant teams, were friendly, polite, and always helpful.The bus stop is just a 1-minute walk from the hotel, with frequent buses, so transportation was never an issue. Overall, a wonderful experience—we will definitely be back!

The whole team, reception manager, breakfast team members, evening service team, housekeeping team all absolutely fantastic!The room was super, very clean, spacious and the shower was amazing! The balcony was spacious. The breakfast choice was excellent! Alba evening menu and food also fantastic. Perfect location, 3 great restaurants. 1 minute to buses to St Paul's Bay one way & Valletta the other. Buses were super cheap & reliable. I would absolutely return.

We only stayed a week!
