    Pros +

    • Exceptionally nice staff/owner family. We felt very welcome as guests. The interior is traditional and nice. The restaurant is very good. Location is also excellent and very close to lift and town centre.
    • Great location a little bit outside the village center, nice cosy & clean rooms, delicious breakfast and family run! You feel the passion of each and everyone and this makes the huge difference!
    • Wonderful cosy and authentic Austrian experience. Lovely staff who pull out all the stops to make your stay pleasant. Beautiful rooms, some with gorgeous views. Great location, just a stone throw from lifts but still quiet. The breakfast was plenty and the dinner in the evening restaurant outstanding Tyrolian home cooked food. The sauna facilities are small but perfect and clean.

    Cons -

    • It could have a bit more space in the bar area.
    • Relatively small bathroom
    • When I appeared at 1 p.m. the hotel was closed so I took my luggage to town ,telephoned the hotel(no answer ,multiple attempts )and waited in a cafe for 2 hours. A few days later I saw a guy with luggage in front of the hotel in the same position. He showed up about 2 p.m. and the place was closed, and said had been waiting about an hour. The front desk appears to be unstaffed much of the day. (The hotel is quite safe and secure because one needs to use the hotel room key to enter.)It's a small point but I was unable to sleep with the window open because of the road noise . With the window (double paned )closed there was NO traffic noise.

Pleasant woman who runs the place. Very well organized breakfast with healthy options. Comfortable bed.Very clean room. Very clean hotel. It's a 3 -4 minute walk ,down a slight incline to the Main Street in St Anton. The location is the hotel's strongest point.

Schindler was perfect!! Location was great, just steps from restaurants and the gondola. The breakfast was tasty. We had dinner there one night and they have the most amazing schnitzel I’ve ever had!! The rooms was spacious as well. And the staff was absolutely wonderful!! Super nice and helpful! Would definitely come back and stay again. They do have a sauna as well which they don’t advertise well - we didn’t have the time to use it, but looked nice!

    Nothing!

The staff were super helpful and friendly and went above and beyond - I really appreciate them being able to accommodate my slightly early arrival. The hotel is super clean, well appointed, and located just a few steps away from ski rentals and lifts. I’ll definitely stay here again!

    No complaints

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Schindler. From our very first encounter with the staff, everything was arranged to give us a relax time away from home. Location is perfectly close to Galzig and Rendl Bahn, the parking of the hotel is very convenient directly next to the warmed skilocker, the restaurant is excellent and breakfast with egg service had a great selection and super hospitable hostess. On our last day, we left really early, prior to breakfast, and we got a nice takeaway basket with food selection without asking. Schindler Hotel truly has the family hotel vibe we enjoy so much, and we will for sure book again if we plan to go skiing in the area.

Warm, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and well designed rooms and the dinner restaurant was excellent!

Location, friendly staff, clean rooms which are very spacious.

There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I think adding one would be a good idea.

the breakfast was really great and i -really- appreciated the gluten free option.the staff was super friendly and took care of me personally.

the roof was low in my bedroom and i was constantly hitting my head. this was not a major issue :)

Close to centre. Literally 5 minute walk to main lift. Great morning meal. 3 different people looked after me in mornings but just like to say gentleman for two mornings was outstanding. Bedroom was lovely and I was able to have a bath both morning and evening.Wish I had booked an evening meal for evenings they were open, but they initially told me when I arrived that restaurant would be closed for my first two nights. However there are loads of good places to eat. Spar shop is also well stocked for everything else you might need.

Can't think of any thing I didn't like. Appeared to be family run, but very early season and not many staff, but plenty of them for number of guests. I was the only one for my first night. They allowed me to book in early in the day 1130hrs rather than stated 2pm. So no negatives at all.

friendly staff, fantastic room, great view and superb food

We've visited St Anton many times and stayed in a variety of hotels now. Schindler was by far my favourite. The location is great, close to the slopes and the center, the staff were incredible, so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We ate at the restaurant twice and was our favourite meals! Compared to other hotels it was very reasonably priced. Couldn't recommend more!

Nothing, great location, amazing hospitality and delicious food!
