    Pros +

    • The restaurant had good food
    • Location
    • TH Golf Hotel Madonna Di Campiglio is a unique and atmospheric place with a charming classic style. It stands out from modern hotels with its character and warmth. The food was exceptional, with plenty of high-quality options for both breakfast and dinner. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the pool and spa facilities were perfect for unwinding after skiing. The hotel is well-integrated with the ski school and kids’ activities, making it great for families. Plus, the on-site rental service is super convenient. With its great location and excellent amenities, this hotel has everything needed for a perfect ski trip. Highly recommend!

    Cons -

    • My room smelled of cigar. It was awful. I told front desk at first they did not believe me, then they sent someone and they agreed it was awful. But I was not put in another room. The room was simply sprayed with something to try to neutralize the smell
    • Dinner was very poor and not tasty.Have stayed in this hotel 5-6 times already, but this time the food was bad.
    • The Ski Room location is not ideal—you have to go around the building to reach the slopes. If the hotel could create a direct passage to the slope, it would be a significant improvement.

Great hotel with great facilities. Room was quiet. Breakfast was good. Close to slopes and Groste lift. Free parking was big plus.

The hotel has a lovely ambiance, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, and my children were pleased with the fast wifi. The food options were plentiful, and the dining room was beautiful, serving a lovely breakfast with good coffee. The scenery was gorgeous, and the ski-in ski-out positioning was a nice feature, even if not entirely as expected.

Some dishes from the plentiful food options fell a little short. The ski-in ski-out positioning wasn't as accessible as we had hoped, with the ski room being located at the very back of the hotel. This required a long hike in skiboots (holding kids skis) to the tail end of piste 66 and an even longer one to the Groste lifts. It would have been better if the ski room were on the other side of the hotel or if guests could walk through the lobby to reach the back instead of having to go around.

Perfect location right next to the ski slopes, close to Grosté. The view of the surrounding mountains is beautiful. Ski school and rental adjacent to the hotel as well. Handy shuttle service (when available). Spacious open parking available.Cozy room (daily cleaning) in a warm hotel including spa and swimming pool. Note of merit: incredibly friendly and attentive staff (hotel and restaurant) always ready to help.Delicious local cuisine at the restaurant for breakfast and half-board meals.

Need to download an app to check services and book certain activities. Despite the timetable (as per the app), the shuttle service to the city centre was not always available (not mentioned on the app). However, the hotel is walking distance (c. 25min) to the centre. Bed could be changed as well as the old stained (but cleaned) carpet.

The reception staff, especially Federico and Sabrina were fantastically helpful. The bathroom in my room was good, the shower was clean and effective. The rooms were well-serviced each day and towels were changed anytime you wanted.

The hotel is quite far out of Madonna, especially as it's uphill all the way there (it's about 100m from the Groste lift) There is a shuttle bus to and from the village but it stops running at about 7.30p.m. so if you decide to eat in the town you need to get a taxi back (€15-20 for what's a short drive) or walk (which takes about 30 minutes). Not quite ski in-ski out either: you have to pole across to a button lift which you need to take to an old two-man lift to get up to the slopes. Either that or walk to the Groste lift. Awkward access back to the hotel, again via the button lift. The hotel decor is a bit tired, but it is an old hotel. My room in particular wasn't great - I booked a single room, it felt dark and quite pokey and it had the smallest narrowest bed I've ever slept on! The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. My booking was B&B so I had breakfast there every day. It was ok. I ate dinner there on two nights with my friends who were half board. It cost €48 each time and I thought it was very average. There was a buffet of starters and three other average courses - I'd prefer one-two good courses rather than this.

The only advantage of this hotel is its good location.

The price of the hotel does not correspond to the existing quality at all. When it comes to food, very mediocre and poor quality products, small selection, stale bread, cold coffee, many products in their last shelf life, such as milk and yogurts. Unprofessional behaviour of waiters, chaos, lack of interest in guests. Hotel rooms worn out and not very clean. Room cleaning was limited to changing towels and throwing away trash. Even drinking water was not provided in the rooms. The declared standard definitely does not correspond to four stars in any respect.

    Poor

Every day we have diferent table for breakfast, and we pay 8 euro per wardrobe. It was very noise , becouse in the loby and in the bar was like a playground for childrens. The rooms are not responding with the pictures on the booking.

nothing, only the location is convenient when you ski because this hotel is ski in / out

the hotel is very big, no decoration. the restaurant looks like a refectory, breakfast is nothing special. you have to pool the pool on an app.the bedrooms are bad, the bathroom old. this hotel is very expensive for what you get.

everything was top notch, between the staff, the location, amenities and cleanliness we could not have had a better stay.

unfortunately someone had smoked in the room assigned to us but Federico went over the top to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

Staff professionalism and readiness to help (kudos to Maria and Lara)... Ease of getting to the slopes, ski-out, ski-in... 5 mins to the city center by car - overall perfect position.

Smaller than expected rooms, the spa needs an upgrade...

    Location of hotel is ok

Spa area is bad- works just 1 sauna and partly 1 shower, rooms are very cold... staff pushing clients to buy towels and caps for pool... Summary- not any reason to visit spa area...Breakfast is poor- except many tipes of bred all week was just scrambled eggs annd ham!!! Unbelievable! ... ok - eggs was boiled also...Often not works boots heaters in ski lockers...

    ideal location for beginner skiers

The amenities were terrible. The photos didn’t match the website. The gym was in a state of disrepair and there was nothing for an injured member of our party to do at the resort while others were skiing. The spa had liminal hours, loud music filtered into the spa area and there did not appear to be professional spa staffers. The carpets in the room were old and stained. If you simply want a place to sleep this hotel is fine, but it’s not the resort that it appears to be online.

I was extremely pleased with many points of our stay at the Golf Hotel. First, our room (the family suite) was very large and comfortable. There was a walk in closet that comfortably fit all of our ski clothes, helmets, regular clothes and storage for our suitcases (for 4 people) which was a real plus! The sitting area for watching tv was spacious and the kids had their twin size beds in another area of the suite. The view of the snowy mountain was breathtaking. Breakfast each morning was top notch, the service was amazing and the variety of foods were superb. The kids club was fun for our sons to hang out after dinner and play some table tennis with other kids, as well as other activities. Last but not least, the location of the Golf Hotel which was directly in front of the lift made it so easy to finish breakfast, get our skis out of the provided storage locker and that's it, we were there on the slopes! The lift is right in front of the hotel so there's no need to worry about transportation or anything. I found it very convenient that when i was done skiing for the day, i went and had a glass of wine sitting out on the deck and i could see my family coming down the end of the slope and getting back up on the lift. It was the best location! All in all i highly recommend staying at this hotel when skiing at Madonna di Campiglio

Our room was extremely warm and had to request the front desk to adjust the heating.. We had to open the window to get some cool air as it was too warm.

Perfect location, very close to the Groste and Fortini lifters and very nice view from window.

Terrible breakfast with very poor choise, no vegetables, no breakfast porridge / oatmeal, sintetic omlet from powder.Staff practically do not speak English.

THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL is that You can walk to the ski lift and rental. But that is extremely overpriced, we better drive next time a bit further but get more nice service.

We are frequent travelers for both work and leisure, and this was our worst experience ever. Started with the booking, when on the 1st of February after booking our assistant called and double checked, if any new restrictions apply in the country, or we will be fine with our Covid certification. She was told all is OK, and on the day of arrival, on our way to the airport, we get news that we won’t be checked in, as our qr codes are not valid! Took us some time to find where to make a test (tamponi), to be able at least to check in. After arrival (which was late because of driving through the villages, hospitals and pharmacies to find where to make covid test) we were told that spa is open only for another 50 minutes and closes at 7.30pm. There was no slippers, or bathrobe in the room (for almost 300eur per night, sorry..). When arrived to the spa, we were told we need to RENT towel, and slippers, for another 15eur. Spa was old, like 15-20 years back in time. Room was 2* hotel like, with old carpets, only teapot with 2 cups, and one lonely complimentary bottle of water. Staff was slow, and not friendly at all. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL is that You can walk to the ski lift and rental. But that is extremely overpriced, we better drive next time a bit further but get more nice service.

    4VanwinklePosted on: 1-3-2022

The spa was nice, but only had a one sauna room open due to covid

Overpriced food for the quality, and staff forgot about our orders during new years eve special dinner service. The room we were assigned was in the old wing of the hotel and visible cracks in the paint as well as the carpets from stains being removed. Wallpaper was very old and peeling from the ceiling. Will not be staying again for the amount paid.
