    • Great bar and wider snacks area. Terrace has great view
    • 1. Location is great2. Staff were lovely and helpful (also especially amazing at making cocktails) 3. The live music was fab
    • Great snow and powder suitable for all ages and beginners.

    Cons -

    • The spa only being free till 2pm and being charged thereafter. It also needs some maintenance, the Sauna door had a hinge broken and was a bit dangerous and my daughter cut her foot open. The pool was freezing and was overly clean.
    • 1. Quality of breakfast was better at the other hotels we stayed at.
    • More basic choices on the menu and not so expensive

    Nice staff, comfortable bed.

The hotel is generally tired. I didn't like the design of the hotel and the wall paintings. Most of all I didn't like the breakfast, when we came there was no bacon, there weren't enough scrambled eggs. Queue for coffee. Had to wait. We waited for two pieces of bacon for all visitors. Breakfast is very meager and uninteresting. The hotel can't calculate the amount of food and guests.

Modern, comfortable, free parking for motorbikes, quirky hand painted decor.

Expensive for what it is. Most hotels in this price range would for example have air conditioning. Lots of add on costs. Trendy room lights but sadly don’t really light up the room.

Room was good with useful storage, fridge, kettle etc, bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was a very nice wetroom. Access to on site ski shire and boot lockers was very good. The ski shop was very helpful and equipment was very good. Breakfast was excellent with a range of coffee, teas, fruit, juice, cheese, meats and eggs - something for everyone. A lot of quirky wall art.

I would recommend others to be clear on hotel "extra" charges, for example 20 Euros for a session in the spa after 2pm which consists of a very small pool, sauna and steam room (we managed 30 mins in there) Breakfast was 19 Euros . Evening dinner was very busy with not enough staff - we waited c45 mins to be served. The menu is very mixed, I had a carbonara which was cooked at the table with undercooked fatty lardons and egg that became scrambled. We also selected some wine which was not available, the sommelier offered an alternative but did not advise that this was twice the price which we realised too late when settling our final day hotel bill. The hotel is on the Calvert side of the mountain, to be able to ski back to the hotel you need to plan to get back to this quite separate area (Serre Thibalt lift or walk across the road to the Calver gondola)

Great location. Friendly staff and wonderfully decorated.

This was the only disappointing thing about the hotel. I think the breakfast is pretty limited and not enough choice. I agree with the principle of providing less which equals less waste.I think more local cheeses and cold meats could be offered.

    modern decor staff friendly

no spa whilst skiing and only available free of charge in the day for a couple of hours. `one night they had a local party which completely took over their so guests could not eat in the restaurant or drink in the bar as so full of locals and their kids and music until late and we were not informed of this prior to checking in

The rooms were spacious. Good location. Easy access to slopes.

Organisation is bizarre for dinner and it took up to 3 hours and there was always something missing for the group. We often felt like we weren't welcome.

Nice hotel with a good junior suite for couples with kids. Good food, if a bit expensive.

    7LeePosted on: 4-18-2023

Room was a good size with a nice balcony. Bathroom was fairly good.

The twin beds upstairs were tiny! They were really difficult to sleep in, but there was plenty of room upstairs... you could have got two double beds in! So that was a real shame. Also, frustrating the spa was not free to hotel residents all day.

everything was very nice, the spa and facilities were good, rooms were good and great location

the room was just a bit smelly that’s all that was wrong and breakfast for us was didn’t really suit our taste and again a bit priceyas well as the spa was a bit much per person

    10RosPosted on: 3-16-2023

friendly staff, good food, ski to door, live band in bar one evening, open fire in bar, swimming pool & spa, lovely decor

    8MarkPosted on: 2-26-2023

Food and staff were excellent, relaxed atmosphere.

    WiFi was weak

    10HaghnazarPosted on: 1-16-2023

The location, the Spa, the staff, the restaurant, the design and decoration of the hotel, the locker rooms with direct access outside.

I like everything except some minor details for example the heater not working properly, light bulb not working, remote control not working, pool not heated, water coming out of shower… this is not important our stay was excellent but those are the little details.

    7DavidPosted on: 7-29-2022

Modern hotel with funky rooms and public spaces. Food was good in the restaurant.

Nothing much to do in the area I’m summer. Spa was a rip off at euro20 per person. This should be free.

Really good ski in/out location, and a nice bar on the piste for (sedate) apres. In-house Ski Palace ski hire shop was excellent, staff very helpful.Room was a reasonable size with a lot of hanging space, bathroom also decent size. Our only issue with the room was the bed was rather soft but probably personal preference.Breakfast was reasonably good with both hot and cold offerings, although the options didn't really change while we were there. We had dinner a few times in the restaurant and the food was varied and tasty. The bar/lounge area is a nice, relaxed spot to unwind. The vibe in the evenings is chilled rather than party, with occasional live jazz the odd night.Staff helpful in advance and during our stay, arranging transfers etc.We both had massages in the spa which were excellent.

Two small points -The shower was over a bath with only a fixed attachment point (couldnt adjust the height of the shower head) which wasn't ideal. The spa is nice while waiting for a massage but I'd have been disappointed paying eur20 to access it specially (it is free if you have a treatment). It's not the largest and I'm surprised the hotel charges extra for access.
