Location was perfect for skiers and above the only decent bar in Monty

Just needs hot drink facilities in the room

Breakfast was good, especially their bread and croissants. Room was comfortable. Above all we liked the location, the possibility to go to ski area without taking the car, just crossing the street. Also to have a free car parking in front of the hotel was very comfortable.

The breakfast was same for all the week )). Coffee didn't meet our expectations.In toilet room there was no heater. TV channels were not international.

We booked two rooms, both of which were spacious by mountain standards.The breakfast was satisfactory for the price, with bread and croissants provided at each table, complemented by a buffet offering ham, cheese, butter, jams, boiled eggs, fresh fruits, and a selection of drinks.The location was excellent, adding to the convenience of our stay.

The room were not soundproof, and we were disturbed by the noise from the restaurant downstairs. Every day, between 17.00 and 23.15, we could hear the constant loud sound of furniture being moved, which disrupted our stay and rest. The pillows were also uncomfortable. WI-FI internet never worked, not even for a single day. Additionally, my phone had very limited coverage, making it impossible to stay connected. I asked for some help at the reception, but they were not helpful. As a result, I had to postpone all my planned work.

The accommodation itself is basic, it has everything you need – clean, comfortable, and well-located. However, what truly sets this place apart is the outstanding staff.From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had a few situations where we needed some extra support, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and their genuine care and hospitality made all the difference.The café setup is perfect – a simple menu with fast, high-quality food at reasonable prices. The bar and restaurant staff are always friendly, ensuring you feel welcome and looked after. The owners also made us feel incredibly at home and are the perfect hosts.The location is unbeatable – from the hotel’s ski storage, you can be on your skis within 45 seconds. Absolutely spot on! For ski hire, we recommend Ski Service up the road for slightly better-quality gear. Also, buying your lift passes from the hotel is a great way to save money.Overall, this hotel does exactly what it promises, with exceptional service and a prime location. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to others!

Location easy to find. Good breakfast.

WC very cramped. The rest of this section is information for potential guests : parking is across the street about two minutes away; entrance to the rooms is from the street at the back up some steep steps; so you go outside and round a corner into the bar (reception is there) to access the breakfast room.

I was expecting a half decent off-season ski hotel. We got much more! Huge, clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfastAnd the nicest burger ever at a restaurant nearby

Breakfast was good, limited choice but plenty to keep you full till lunch. Location is excellent, couldn’t be much better, right next to ski school meeting point and easy to ski to lifts.

We had an incredible stay at Alpis Cottia in Montgenevre! The staff, especially Roman, were exceptionally attentive, even amidst the bustling bar activities. The room was consistently clean and warm, with daily cleaning services ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment.The breakfast was a highlight, offering genuine and delicious products. It's not every day you find such a satisfying start to your morning! The added convenience of free car parking in Montgenevre is a major plus, and the option to securely store your skis in the hotel's locker made our skiing experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with Alpis Cottia and will undoubtedly recommend it to fellow travelers. A big shoutout to Roman and the entire team for their outstanding service. Looking forward to our next visit – see you next year, Alpis Cottia!

I stayed overnight at the Hotel Alpis Cottia while hiking along the Via Francigena. The hotel is well-run and welcoming and my room was large and clean, with everything I needed. The location is excellent for a hiker, close to the hiking route and other facilities.

The place was exactly as described, and perfectly within expectations for this price range. Nothing luxurious, but everything well organized and neat. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was good. Staff is great and very helpful.

In town, we were slightly lost on approach with our van due to the one-way system in the town, not properly acknowledged by the Google Maps (but of course this is not the fault of the property!). Unfortunately, at the time of our visit very early in the Summer season, the restaurant was not yet open for dinners, so we had to look around the town (not many options there either).
