Enrico could not have been more helpful. He arranged very reliable transportation for us from the airport to the hotel and, the next morning, from the hotel to the ferry. He provided great recommendations for a restaurant for dinner (where we had a fantastic meal) and very clear directions to the restaurant. He also provided us with free drinks upon arrival. The room was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great little place to stay. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast nice and the location perfect. Moreover our host, Enrico, was very good, generous and made the stay very easy for us. Highly recommended as the place to stay in Pozzallo.

Spacious, very clean and a great breakfast.Enrico is the most helpful and kind host we have met on our travels.The location is close to the ferry and buses for travel to Modica and Siracusa.

Beautiful and charming hotel just in the middle of Pozzallo. All the amenities are reachable by walk. Owners very very kind and familiar. Adviced for any kind f traveller.

Small hall but warm and comfortable

Excellent location and the facilities were exactly what we needed for the purpose of our stay. Enrico was very attentive, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble - truly outstanding. Breakfast was really good. We would recommend Mare Nostrum.

The owner is so lovely, he waited for us after our arrival by ferry at night, the breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh baked pastries. Easy walking distance to restaurants and beach, we were lucky with a car park close by.

Rooms and bathroom are quite dated.

After Ferry arrival, we arrived at the Mare Rostrum Hotel by a transfer taxi.Mare Rostrum was like a paradise location in Pozzallo after Malta.Taken to the Hotel to be met by Enrico Caruso, the owner & his wife.It was an easy check-in with a lift to the room.Clean & efficient & sterile, although small for 2 sharing.Substantial, delicious breakfast with cooked eggs & fresh baked goods. Just, Yumm. Enrico went over & above to make us feel welcome & helped with transport to Catania.I will never forget his & his wife's hospitality. cannoli, coffee & introduction to Antica Risetta of Siciliana.I would definitely stay at the Mare Rostrum Hotel again xx

The location was perfect and we could find parking! Excellent service from Enrico, thank you so much ?!

Enrico is a star and despite mix up he agreed to accommodate my two dogs after I forgot to notify him. The room was comfortable and the fresh pastries in the morning were delicious.

Lovely clean hotel. Good shower, spacious room with good aircon & the breakfast was really good. The host was the best. Friendly & helpful.

Small hotel , which gives a warm welcome . Very accommodating personal service especially regarding a late check in time . Comfortable spacious room, that was absolutely spotlessly clean . Very dog friendly too for our small dog . Breakfast was good with a pre ordered choice of fresh pastries alongside other continental options such as fruit , cereals , yoghurts, toast , ham , cheese etc A family business so the staff go that extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Good location for walking to the restaurants and beach of Pozzallo and a 10 minute drive to the Port for travel via the catamaran to Malta . We would definitely recommend.

Exellent place for rest and speed a time. Director Mr. Enrice arę one of the most sympatic, carefull and helpfull person in all reasons. Situated near seaside and city center. Stronlgly recommended

Enrich couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.The complex was immaculately clean.Breakfast very good.

Room was dark

Great location mid-way between the station and ferry wharf, close to restaurants and seaside. The hosts and staff were wonderful. A car was booked for our early departure and a generous breakfast in a bag provided.

Unfortunately scaffolding covering the outside made the room dark. The towels and linen need updating.
