Paradise Bay Hotel Boutique

The staff, the adjacent restaurant, the parking and the rooms were great. The location isnt bad, but not great. We go to Costa Rica to experience the bio diversity. Not as much at this location as further south

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful throughout. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The restaurant offered a great selection of meals. The massages and facial we received were exceptional. And the pool just steps away from our door was the perfect way to start and end the day. Thank you to Michelle and the rest of the Paradise Hotel team for making us feel so welcome and at ease. We can't wait to return one day!

The hotel looks nothing like the photos. The rooms smell very damp, and you have to walk to get to the beach, which is quite dirty and feels unsafe.

It's an excellent choice close to the beach, supermarkets, and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything is very well maintained. We had a great time.

Their free breakfast turned out to be a menu of predetermined meals that were very good. We were there to attend events at the Marriott resort so the location was excellent. The room itself was large with a kitchen area and a separate seating area. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi was good. Staff was very good.

Hot water and a shower was excellent however could not get hot water at either sink.

Excellent place. Clean, safe, good food. Good value for money. Without a doubt, highly recommended.

This hotel is a hidden gem: close to the beach, with a nice, modern rooms and a swimming pool / jacuzzi on site. Breakfast is amazing: lot's of options to choose from, including typical Costa-Rican dishes or continental. The staff is nice and very welcoming. It's a kids-friendly place and they provide cots on request. The restaurant on-site offers great, reasonably priced meals. And they have a spa, offering massages and various treatments.

The only thing they are missing is drying facilities for the swimwear. It's hard to dry it in the room after a beach day.

This is an unexpected, modern hotel within walking distance of the beach. The rooms are on one side of the hotel and the other side is a swimming pool and restaurant. The restaurant had the best breakfast we had in the two weeks we were in Costa Rica. The food was artistically presented and cooked to perfection. The room was large and very well designed.

I loved the facilities the pool with the swim up bar is incredible. Breakfast was incredibly beautiful and the service by all we encountered was outstanding. We would definitely stay again.

The air conditioning in our room didn’t seem to work properly even at the lowest temperature we were still hot at night so maybe that just needs to be checked. Water in the shower wasn’t hot and we would have preferred a window view onto the pool. However these things can be easily fixed and didn’t disrupt our stay too much.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Rachel that worked at the swim up bar and Peppers was so sweet and helpful. We arrived later in the evening after the front desk had closed but they made sure we were able to get into the rooms. Very responsive to messages.

Beds were hard. In one of our rooms there wasn’t a shower surround so water got all over the bathroom.

We loved the delicious breakfast each morning and access to Herradura Beach, just down the road! The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfy. In room AC was a plus. There was a pool bar but we didn’t try it out, could be cool for next time. We seemed like the only guests this week so we felt it was a pretty private stay overall.

This was a great basic boutique hotel with incredible food! Great alternative to the mega resorts nearby.

Super friendly and helpful staff! Large, spacious room and attached restaurant. Yes - happy hour with tuna tartare and ceviche was excellent!

Problem with toilet flushing. Staff fixed it each of my three days at hotel, then it wd break again.

Paradise Bay hotel was great proximity to the beach and restaurants, only about a 7 minute easy walk. Rooms were huge, air conditioning worked VERY well, water pressure in the shower was top notch and the pool area was great!! We loved how cozy the whole place felt. Having breakfast included was perfect and the restaurant on premises was cute with many options. All the staff were kind and accommodating. They even gave us a ride to the beach with all of our luggage so we could catch our boat transfer the morning of check out. You should absolutely book this hotel for your stay in Playa Herradura. No matter how long or short you’re there!

Unique little boutique hotel… friendly staff, nice pool, good restaurant onsite. We would definitely come back.

The entrance should be paved, it's rough for a sedan vehicle. It's a little expensive for what you get

The property met the expectations as shown online . Small boutique setting, wasn’t expecting more than what was provided. The best was the breakfast included , made to order and the staff was all very friendly and nice.
