Pros +
- A beautiful surprise, perched on a hill with the castle in the distance. Service was attentive and impeccable. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed but not in a fussy way. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace taking in the 360 degree panoramic view. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
- Loved this hotel. It was very quiet and the property itself is in the country so very quiet!Breakfast was good with American scrambled eggs. It had real orange juice that you squeezed. The room was very modern and updated. Would stay again! The staff were wonderful and so friendly.
- Restaurant, food and waiter were exceptional- hotel room a bit ‘tired’ and v old fashioned - aircon turned off until summer ( but they did provide a fan) - phone by the bed didn’t work so had to keep walking downstairs to reception for little requests. The town itself ( about half a mile down a steep hill to the centre) is a complete vile dump - full of litter and clearly poverty stricken. The view from the hotel itself is a bit ‘industrial’ - polytunnels everywhere. All in all not horrendous but a bit overpriced; however the food and restaurant service for dinner was really excellent.
Cons -
- The room size we received was too small basically just space to walk around the bed.
- NOTHING WAS NEGATIVE
- super relaxing, fabulous views and very quiet.

It had nice views of the town and the swimming pool was ok. Breakfast was good

MY ROOM WAS GIVEN DAILY MAID SERVICE. THE RESTURANT ON SITE HAS EXCELLANT FOOD AND SERVICE STAFF. THE LOCATION HAS SPECTACULAR VIEWS OF THE CASTLE LOCATED JUST ABOVE OF THE MOUNTAIN AND ILLUMINATED NIGHTLY!
NOTHING WAS NEGATIVE
the staff was very friendly and helpful. the person on the front desk was amazing.
super relaxing, fabulous views and very quiet.
Clean, good restaurant, excellent staff
Advertised as pool or swimming pool but this misleading as very small.Out of town position but no taxi service in town so car use essential.Given impression superior rooms have balcony but not the case.
fantastic views from this room. Great room. used the pool area. Nice restaurant. Convenient location as we were travelling from syracuse to Agrigento.
Fabulous location up on the hill with great views. Very good restaurant if you didn’t want to go to town and close to visit the valley of the temples
Bed was to firm
A villa now converted to a lovely hotel and gardens. Well-appointed rooms. Ample private parking. Very good restaurant.
Buffet breakfast selection could be improved Property requires some visible maintenance. Bathroom missing towel hooks.
Restaurant and food e cellent
Balcony with sea view was stretching it a bit, Juliette with room for one chair
We enjoyed swimming in the pool. Our room was comfortable to rest. The dinner was outside
Hotel is located on the beautiful hill with amazing views from all sides. Gorgeus mountainous landscape on the north and mesmerizing city/sea view on the south. It is a very small building with only 12 rooms. You will not encounter many people in the corridors or near the pool. The area where hotel is located is big and spacious, there are no other buildings in the vicinity. There is a free parking available for every guest. Interior of the room is not modern but everything looks very stylish and it fits to the whole architecture of the building which most probably is some old 18-19th century villa. In the room you have everything you need, well equipped bathroom, minibar, TV, spacious wardrobe, big desk, air conditioning unit and coffee set. Very nice view from the balcony which is equipped with set of chairs, sunbeds and small table. Breakfast is not very fancy, but it is enough to fill you up and all products were fresh and tasty. You can choose if you want to eat outside on the terrace or inside. Hotel staff is very friendly, smiling and willing to help.
Everything was perfect, we have encountered only one small issue. Area near the pool serves also as an event/conference place. We had two days which we spent mostly resting in the hotel after our trips around the Sicily. During these two days, in the time we wanted to go to the pool there were some events taking place. I believe it was not forbidden to use it during the time of the event but we were not feeling very good to use the pool when just next to you are people participating in some official lunch, anniversary etc. However as I said it does not affect our overall excellent experience in Villa Giuliana. We understand that it is a small hotel and beside accomodation it has to make some income from other activites.
Lovely clean hotel and the restaraunt food and service was very good
Renovated house, receptionists were very kind and helpfulGood food in the restaurantNice view
Staff in restaurant don’t speak EnglishRooms are very tiny, but manegable
Elegant building.
I was charged for TWO rooms, instead of ONE. I am only one person and I booked one room, in my Booking.com page it only showed one room being booked. The hotel staff only notified me of this issue one day prior to my stay, so my credit card was already charged. They did not warned me ahead of time, they did not help me to fix the issue either. They acted dishonestly.
Breakfast was wonderful! Beautiful location in Licata. Would definitely stay again.
Not very sound proof, especially in rooms on the first floor. Can be hard to sleep if you are a light sleeper.
Everything about the property was excellent. Location, clean with nice staff.
Hotel was well signed from the main road. All staff really helpful. Great views. Nice room and good breakfast.
Yhe only thing that let it down was the area round the pool. The decking is poor and sun beds very dated; some even broken.
Comfortable room and bed, lovely villa and location, beautiful views, lovely small pool, delicious breakfast and dinner, staff very friendly and attentive
Shower cabin was a bit too small and I'm petite
