- Gorgeous boutique hotel. All the decorative touches are super cool. The hotel has so much charm and character, and in an amazing location which is central but not touristy. The communal breakfast was such a treat.
Cons -
- Very expensive for the facilities that is provides.
- No reception open after 4 pm. Maybe it was low season but this is when people arrive. The keypad for our room didn’t work properly so we had to phone but the manager was very helpful.

Great little hotel in a brilliant location. Really clean & comfortable room, and the breakfast is excellent.
I stayed for a few days on a solo trip - this hotel was like a little sanctuary. It is so beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, I had a little balcony which was wonderful, and the bathroom was lovely and clean with a great shower. I loved this hotel.
As always super welcoming and helpful staff. When they knew we were getting married on this trip, we got a great gift in the form of a bottle of wine from the staff. The bath tub suite is extraordinary.
Nothing at all
It’s beautifully done. Love the communal concept of it. The location is fantastic, must explore the area.
However the housekeeping isn’t what one is used to at a hotel. They don’t actually clean the rooms and bathrooms daily. Just a quick tidy up.
Very stylish
Noisy guests disturbed at night - there is no management or security to call upon during the night
Clean in walking distance
No jacuzzi
Staff extremely polite, helpful and efficient
The room itself mostly authentic and cozy
1. I expected champagne in the room. Small thing, but it was mentioned. But the Reception said that they have removed from the room, but they can provide wine which is extra-chargeable 2. Breakfast was really good. But they had a big group, which was loud, as soon as dining place was small, I had to wait until they finish.
Charming boutique style hotel with nicely decorated rooms. The in-room amenities were of a high standard, as were the sheets and bedding. Breakfast was truly amazing and partaken communal style. The hotel staff were more like our hosts - so warm and friendly! Nicely located near restaurants and convenience stores.
There are no elevators so it's not suitable for persons with reduced mobility or large heavy bags. The lighting though cosy is not sufficient for reading and writing at night. We could hear people singing and talking and the occasional dog barking in the alley that our window faced.
I am in two minds about this hotel. The location is good, the room was really nice and well equipped, the cleaning staff did a perfect job, the food at breakfast was good BUT....
... we had arranged a pick up from the airport with the hotel. There was not driver to pick us up. We tried to call the hotel several times, but no one picked up the phone, so we ended up taking a random taxi to the town. We realized that the costs even for this tranfer were half the price the hotel had asked for and if you check the usual taxi apps they will take you from the city to the airport for an even smaller price. So I feel the hotel's taxi service is overprized. When arriving we told them about the taxi not showing up and they said they would check with the company. The following night at 23:30 someone fiercly knocked on our room door. It was one of the staff to tell us that they had clarfied the issue and the company will send a taxi to drop us at the airport for free on the day of our departure. Is there any reason to wake up a whole family at 23:30 just to tell this? We were already asleep and had a baby with us, who also woke up again. And we were not leaving the next morning...Breakfast is good, as stated above, but if you want to have breakfast at 8am, be prepared that there is no bread. Bread arrives as it seemed whenever they please. On one day there wasn't even bread available at 9am... also they are not really friendly or interested. The breakfast room has an atmosphere of having breakfast in a family's kitchen, but the atmosphere is not really welcoming. Also avoid the room right behind the reception desk (I think it was 101). The reception is right in front of it and it is not soundproof. So you can hear every guest that is arriving or leaving during the night, all the phone calls etc. On one night the staff was listening to music at around midnight and it was so loud that we were not able to sleep. When my husband asked them to decrease the volume he got a gloopy reply.
Fabulous boutique hotel tucked away in one of the beautiful streets of old town in Sololaki. The staffs are extremely helpful and understanding and the whole place is extremely well maintained. Definitely going back here again!
Cute hotel with great breakfast in the old town
It was very dark not enough lights in the room and in the bathroom There was no bathroom kit only soaps and after 4pm there was no personnel insight the hotel
Very kind, helpful and responsive staff. Delicious breakfast. Great furniture and decoration.
Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Sololaki/Tbilisi with not much traffic on the street! Small but beautiful room and very kind and helpful staff, Tamta! The breakfast was a treat! All the guests shared one big table that was set with yoghurt, fresh and dried fruits, cakes, bread, cheese, eggs, vegetables, orange juice, coffee/tea etc. Everything was presented as in a beautiful painting. Such a lovely idea to share the breakfast table with the other gusets! We wish we had stayed several more days! We are ever so grateful to Tamta who helped us, late in the evening after we had arrived, when we discovered that my husband had forgotten his gore-tex jacket and cap at the hotel in Sighnaghi. The owner of that hotel was in contact with Tamta, and sent the jacket and cap by marschrutka all the way from Sighnaghi to Tbilisi. In Tbilisi, Tamta/Communal Hotel Sololaki, organized a taxi to pick up the clothes from the marschrutka station and deliver it to us at the hotel, one day before we left Georgia. THANK YOU so much for your help!
I booked this mostly because of the design and it is even better in person! A lot of love was invested in this place: there are a lot of little nice decorations here and there. It was also a real pleasure to share a breakfast with people from different countries. It feels like we were all invited by a welcoming host: the atmosphere, the home made traditional food…The location is good. The old city, the Liberty square, all the restaurants are within walking distance..
The water in the shower was almost cold! Brrr....
Nice design, good location but on a quiet street, nice breakfast spread. Tamta was the best! She’s so warm and helpful. There’s also a nice balcony area with hammocks that we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of.
Not the best lighting
Nice hotel in good location. Stylish decor.
Our Room was right next to the reception desk and therefore very noisy in the morning. Ask for a room which is not close to the reception.
