Elea Old Tbilisi Hotel

Best sleep we had. Very quiet and peaceful hotel with a family feel. Breakfast area is small and cozy with homemade food. Everyone was very kind. We booked the quadruple room and it was very spacious and comfortable for our family. Street parking was easy. 12min walk to old tbilisi.

All was great.

The location is fine. The place decoration was cozy and nice. The food was good.

Our room was on the third floor and the stair was difficult to carry the luggages.

Everything was very good, clean and delicious breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Facilities a bit old

we had a lovely stay thanks to the staff, especially nino and tamuna, who always make sure we were well fed in the mornings! we especially appreciated that the cooler/AC in our room was always running, as it was much hotter outside. it was also very convenient to have so many small shops nearby, a bakery down the road, and local fresh produce to sample from stalls. overall a wonderful hotel for couples and family.

The location is great and the price is reasonable. But most importantly – the people and the wine! These two things really made a difference and bumped up my rating. The staff were super friendly and even gave me a bottle of wine as a gift at the end of my stay – big thanks for that!

Honestly, I don't understand how this place has such a high score. The room needs major renovation – there was a smell of rotten wood, broken bathroom fixtures, and an old dirty carpet. Breakfast was very basic and repetitive. The lady in charge of breakfast didn’t seem to be the right person for that role – there were always missing plates, no water in the kettle, and some dishes were just not there. The internet – while the speed was okay when it worked, it kept cutting out every 3–5 minutes, so overall I’d rate it as poor quality.One more thing... This didn’t affect my rating, but I was really disappointed by your policy: “You can only drink wine in the hotel if you bought it from us.” On the first day, I didn’t know about this rule, so I bought your wine – and it was actually very good. But once I found out about the rule, I didn’t buy any more.

The bathroom smelt quite bad when we arrived. Additionally we were charged 90 dollars for a 20 minute taxi ride to the hotel. When we found this out the hotel receptionist did little to intervene

We liked a lot the hospitality. The hostess was an excellent person, very helpful.

Someties there was a smell in the bathroom, not all the time. i think it can be solved.

Everything was great: spacious room with separate entrance, nice internal garden, comfortable beds. Location is also close to both sides of Kura river.

The property has enough lights but the street if you decided to walk to a nearby mini mart is dark.

What I liked about the hotel was its old and cozy charm, which gave it a unique character. The hotel personnel were kind and always ready to help, making the overall experience more pleasant despite the shortcomings.

The breakfast was disappointing for a 4-star hotel—very basic options, and they didn’t even serve omelettes or scrambled eggs. The bread had mold on it, and I had to inform them to replace it. Additionally, the TV was very small, and the shower kept fluctuating between cold and warm, which was quite uncomfortable.

It was no water suplyer to the all hotels, staring from the middle of the night, and we wait till. Morning and ask hotel staff, but staff was helpless, so we had very uncomfortable moment with the family and kids,

The place is beautiful and decorated colourfully- from the front desk to the dining area. The rooms are also nice and warm. The team was so kind- they let us check in *much* before 15:00 (we adressed them on the time of our reservation), lifted our luggage to the room and served us complementary coffee upon arrival. Breakfast was lovely and varied- from small delicious pancakes to eggs and sausages. Coffee and tea is also good (and I'm slightly picky with those). In total, great place, highly recommended!!!

The only inconvenience was the shower door, which wasn't quite sealed and thus wet the whole bathroom when we showered. Nothing that placing a rag on the wet floor can't fix, though.

they up graded when we arrived as I had had a,serious tumble before arriving which was good. staff mostly friendly and considerate Breakfast good

the location ,but it was my choice, a bit awkward to get to places from it I always use public transport

Nice location in a quiet area, but still close to a lot of things that you need to see in Tbilisi. The accommodation is cozy, serves amazing breakfast, especially the pancakes!

The most top room can get a little cold at night during the colder months, get some warm socks for sleeping :)

Easy access to the main road and they make sure the room is always clean and i love having a balcony in our room my bf like it ???%

Reception stuff was very helpful, we are very grateful that they met us early in the morning and that we could leave our luggage in hotel, big plus was that they enabled us to check in earlier. The cleanliness is up to par, the location is quiet and 10-15 minutes' walk from the city center and sights. All in all, very good value for the price.

Just more options for breakfast and fresh baked goods would be our suggestion for a bit improvement.
