Pros +
- Listen, this is the most unique and iconic hotel in Tbilisi, possibly all of Georgia. If you're visiting the city, you owe it to yourself to stay here, there's no other place like it. It's a very hip and artsy hotel with a chic cold war vibe. All the decor both in the rooms and outside fits the theme meticulously. The staff are incredibly professional, and there are always interesting people in the lobby just chatting.
- Nice atmosphere, very spacious, good area, friendly staff, clean and comfy beds
- A great place to stay in Tbilisi. Room had great A/C, very comfortable mattress and solid bunks. Each bed has a light, socket and shelf plus lockers for each bed (BYO lock). Downstairs common area a really nice place to hang out, meet people, work etc, with several bars just outside that are popular with locals each night. Bathrooms are large with plenty of facilities for the number of people on each floor. The location is good with a number of coffee shops and eateries nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful, spoke excellent English. Room and kitchen was clean. Be aware this is one of the larger more "commercial" feeling hostels.
Cons -
- Maybe this is because we stayed during new year's, but there was nowhere to eat breakfast. The hotel bar didn't serve anything other than muffins/cake, and a restaurant on the premises that advertised breakfast only opened in the evening.
- It was a bit cold at night
- Maintenance seems to be a bit of an issue here. All but one of the washing machines were broken. Several of the showers in the bathroom were out of order, and several that were working would create a massive puddle of water in the bathroom. The bathrooms (especially toilets) were not particularly clean and could use more attention.

Funky modern vibrant rocking place with lots of eateries down at the entrance and a thriving community of youth. The graffiti works and the plants ? were superb. The room was also laid out in the same fashion as that of the hotel. The cave aka reception was one of a kind.
Nothing at all. We r all in ave of this hotel.
Everyrhing is basic in rooms. Very basic. Too basic. Fundamental.
Sometimes you need a cup of hot water but unfortunately but room doesn't have any boiler or smt else. Or near the mirror don't have electricity. And rooms ceilings are very very high, in winter you will need to wait for a little bit warmth.
The room was cozy and clean. We loved the interior design and loved staying here.
An incredible place! If you come to Tbilisi, you should definitely choose this place. The hygiene, comfort, and atmosphere were excellent. I would only deduct 0.5 points because one of the security guards behaved in a nationalistic manner toward me due to my nationality. I reported this to the reception, and the issue was resolved.
Extra cute place with really lovely staff! The location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s honestly just a super quick ride by car. The ambiance is really cool and cozy. ?
The small rooms don’t have a mini fridge to keep basic stuff like water in, and there’s no tea kettle either. It would be nice to have those basics — that was the only downside of the place.
Very organized. Common amenities are pretty complete. Facilities have a unique characteristic. Plenty of bar options right behind the property. Also a nice lobby.
Location was excellent, it's in a really cool area of town. The main lobby floor is super vibey, and has space for connection. The courtyard is filled with restaurants and bars, very lively at night. Room was very quiet.
Oh my lord the bathrooms, I gasped. I was not expecting them to be that bad. Zero ventilation which makes it a petri dish for mold, and yep mold was everywhere. I felt like i needed to shower after I showered. I don't have high expectations for hostels, but woof. I'm telling you it was bad. I almost didn't shower, I felt cleaner before I went in. Each shower stall only has plastic curtains and yes even those were covered in black mold. Half of the showers were "out of order." Don't even think about using the showers without sandals.
Before I came there, I was so nervous because fed up staying hostels and share your room with people but Fabrika you changed my mind, I stayed for 20 days so it’s a lot and for every person that they’re work there they’re really lovely, kind and helpful people, you made my stay. Cleanliness one of the most important thing for me and I didn’t have any bad situations thanks a lot also for that.
Kitchen but it will be closed so no worries I guess :D
Overall, it was fine. The downstairs area has a nice vibe, but it gets very crowded and isn’t suitab
I really enjoyed my stay here the location was perfect, everything was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. This wasn’t my first time staying here, and I keep choosing this place for every trip because it always feels reliable and welcoming.
I like our room, which was clean and in excellent condition. The staff is friendly. We booked at the last moment, so we are glad to have so nice accommodation
Showers: almost half are out of order, and the rest don't seem very clean. The same about toilets
Helpful, friendly staff, clean and very comfortable bed.
A long walk to most destinations, luckily we don’t mind walking
The price. For the price i think you get what you paid for.. stayed there for a night since the other hostel i booked didn't allow me to do late check ins..
Beds. I hate the beds. It was too high! And there is only barricade on the left side.. so if you fall, goodluck! I hate the bathrooms.. they were filthy.. they were actually maybe 10 cubicles for shower but i think only 3 works well.. but it was dirty. Absolutely dirty. I arrive there midnight, woke up at 5am and pack everything and move to other hostel. I just cant.
Cozy and friendly
Last time 3 years ago we stayed at fabrika and that was much more better than this time, it is so obvious the quality of the hostel become lower than before l. For example the bed sheets are not perfectly clean and was thorn.Last time they have self serve breakfast but now they have very limited menu in cafe. Also the cafes in yard open for breakfast at 10.Also the quality of furnitures on lounge become less and not very clean
Beautiful building with great areas to sit and hangout, and a lively atmosphere
It’s huge and the showers and toilets are far from the rooms and fitness center style - you also have to pay to store your bags for more than the day
this was my second stay here and i’m already planning to come back soon. i met amazing people, made unforgettable memories, and absolutely loved the atmosphere. the cleanliness and design of the hotel are always perfect, it feels like home every time i stay.
Asthetically nice location. Bars and eat-out places directly in the courtyard.Walkable to the city center (25min).Very lively area.
Upon arrival the 24/7 reception was not staffed. Therefore I and other arriving guests had to spend the first night sleeping in the public lobby. Upon trying to check in the next day (after it was staffed again) I was informed that it was considered a no-show and my room was already booked by someone else. I was therefore moved to a 10-bed dorm, even though I paid for a higher category. After I checked later on I realized that there was still space in a 3-bed available. So no intend to "make things right" was shown by the host. The sanitary facilities are even for hostel standards in bad shape. Carry slippers etc with you.
