Hotel Aivani Old Tbilisi

good location. in the heart of the city.

this was my third time visiting georgia. we checked in late and was given a room from the 4th flr. we found out the elevator is only up until the 3rd and we need to take the stairs going to our room. our luggage was heavy with no one to help us. it was an attic room with small window. there was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. we can hear the noises from the other room. we can also smell the cigarette smoke because there was a door which we can't open that separated our room from the room beside us. when i checked their confirmation email i was supposed to get a room from the second floor. breakfast was poor.

Everything was perfect - location, restaurant, room itself with a huge balcony overlooking my favorite part of the old town.The owners and receptionist were so nice and friendly, thank you very much! And most importantly the hotel has an elevator! You rarely find an elevator here in the hotel, only long high stairs, and I was a heavy luggage. So it was a deal breaker for me)

Beautiful hotel in the center of Old Tbilisi. It is near Meidan Square and Meidan Market. We stayed in a comfortable clean room with a traditional balcony. Very friendly staff told us about attractions around.

I loved the location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant. The hotel has a wonderful view from the balcony. The location is very nice . The hotel is located in the heart of the old town . And have a nice character.

It was not clean. The room was very old and not clean at all. The bathroom smelled terrible. We found black mold in one of the rooms . We stayed there two nights and the second morning there was no hot water in our room. As I said the people who worked there and the manager was so nice and friendly and this was the only reason we stayed there and did not cancel. I would have appreciated if they at least could offer a discount after hearing what we said about the dirty rooms and the dirty bed sheets and the lake of hot water.

Location

We received a room smelling like mushrooms, which we could not accept to stay. They offered another room for the next night, however, you cannot stay in this discussing smelling room and we moved to another hotel to not ruin our holidays. We did not receive any refund, so I recommend all guests check their room before they pay

Great location within walking distance to all attractions.Good breakfast.

It was not clean, mold in the bathroom, ripped towels.Sheet was too small for the mattress and was constantly moving exposing the bare mattress. Noisy at night.

Overall the hotel was perfect. The location was great, cannot imagine a better one. The rooms were big enough (we booked family room), room was clean. Restaurants, souvenir shops nearby. Will stay here again.

Great location and great breakfast and coffee. Most of the staff in the reception/ breakfast area were friendly. The room was clean, I think it is just the sewerage that smells in the toilet which did not bother us, we just closed the toilet door

The location is excellent but quite loud at night. The room was clean.

Broken furniture, broken lights, safe was in the room but not functioning, the room's balcony was left open after cleaning with easy access from other room. Everything was old, the whole room smelled of cigarettes for the first 24 hours while other floors smelled of mould.Breakfast starts at 8:30 which is quite late and is always the same with sausages, buckwheat and scrambled eggs being served as a hot meal. No real coffee, only cheap instant coffee available.WiFi was very unstable and slow.

The breakfast was just ok nothing exceptional not even cream or chocolate a normal breakfast.The hotel’s location is exceptional in the center of old Tbilisi.

My room was at the fourth floor and it is said that this hotel has elevator yes it does but only for three first floors and we had to use stairs for the fourth floor! On top of that, they don’t accept dollar or euro as payment and you need to change it even before you get the key!

We booked the suite and it was like a dream. Spacious, comfortable and the balcony with the best view !! It was walking distance to alot of the tourist spots and had wonderful eating spots near by. The staff were super helpful and kind. Very hospitable people. ❤️We absolutely loved our stay here and would totally recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you to everyone at Aivani. ?

There was an issue with the transportation we had arranged through the hotel from the airport and eventually we got a taxi.

There was little smell from bathroom. When you close the door nothing smelling but if you gonna open the door the whole room can smell.

I was given a room that is not what I booked. It was changed the next day.

Location is very nice, everything around, some staff are nice not all some are rude too, balcony has good view, clean, quite, breakfast has good option too

Very small room , curtains are not black out, balcony doors are broken, very small bathroom, too much light inside the room is hard too sleep, outside voice can be listen easily
