Hotel Grand Palace

The door cannot unlock. I was locked inside the room. Bellboy was laughing with us and use screwdriver to open the door.

The service, place, cleanliness, staff, facilities

We loved the staff. Amazingly accommodating at arrival at 1:00am and made us feel very welcome. Zura and Even were fantastic. Additionally, the breakfast was plentiful and wnjoy by whole family.

Big rooms, clean, everyone is nice and it was an easy stay!

Bad Experience

The photos of the hotel looked completely different from what I found in reality. The room had an unbearable smell, so I had to keep the balcony door open, which made the creaking of the room door disturb me all night. The phone in the room did not work, so I couldn’t contact reception for any help. The room itself was dirty, old, and clearly in need of renovation. There was no coffee, no water, no bathrobe, no toothbrushes, no soap… I won’t even continue the list.Regarding breakfast, at check-in no one informed me where or when it was served. In the morning I went out at 11:00 and it took me about 5 minutes to even find the dining area, only to be told that breakfast was over and I couldn’t eat anything. This was despite the fact that the food was still there, not yet cleared away, and the staff themselves were eating. With just a bit of goodwill, they could have at least offered me a plate, but unfortunately they only offered coffee.Also, in the booking photos it was clearly shown that the room included bathrobes, but the staff told me that bathrobes were not provided for my room type.Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It’s definitely not a “palace”, not even close.

The restaurant located above us was playing a loud music till 0:30 AM. With a total absence of soundproofing, it wasn’t fun at all. The staff said, they couldn’t help. If you happen to get a room on the 6th floor, you are almost guaranteed to stay awake until they finish. The rooms are not equipped with the basic stuff. Check the clothes hangers on the screenshot. It’s a joke.

Add more options to the breakfast menu, change the towel to new as the towels available are clean but very used

We were suppose to stay in hotel grand palace but they moved us to hotel residence. We have same set of breakfast for 5 days?

This hotel has good breakfast, especially for Asian people, they provide different main food in the morning(rice, noodle, macaroni), also they have friendly employees with nice smiles every time, also the room is clean and fantastic, it has hot water for shower 24/7, really warm AC, temps inside feels like as hot summer, only needs wearing T-shirt, also it with great view of the mountain if you choose the room number with double digits. Of course, they have a smart black neighbourhood dog as one their teams, how sweet they are, like a family! Maybe this is the best hotel in memory. Strongly recommendation!

New Building, Beautiful balcony view of the city, peaceful location, 5 min drive to the old Tbilisi city and most of the tourist attractions. Staffs were very co-operative specially Ms. Nino and Natali. They always welcomed and helped us with smiling face.Breakfast was good, they had a rice in the menu, and they do offer halal foods.I simply loved my stay there.

Actually they transferred me from Grand Palace to Residence Plaza hotel who owner are same person.I loved Residence Plaza.Very valuable and perfect personality works there.I love all team and will come back again definitely.But I didn’t stay in Grand Palace and I can’t rate this hotel.

Everything was perfect.But not this hotel.The next door is Residence Plaza which is great hotel and great teamwork

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grand Palace. From the moment I arrived the staff was welcoming and attentive, making me feel comfortable even I arrived so early around 6am and he even allowed me to checked in right away. The check-in process was seamless, and I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire property was. My room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel's location was okay— not the best but okay. I’ve been to Georgia 3x already, yet still quiet enough for a relaxing stay. I also enjoyed the special facilities like restaurant and breakfast. Pool is close since it’s winter time, but overall it made my stay even more enjoyable. What really stood out to me, however, was the excellent service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and provided great local recommendations. I truly felt valued as a guest. I will definitely be returning here in the future and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

Nothing everything went well. ❤️We checked out at 12.10 noon and since we had 4hours more for a short tour in the city they let us leave our luggages for awhile till we came back. A good gesture ?

The location, the breakfast, the bed

Quick ride to the airport, breakfast was ok

It was the first time ever that during a trip I preferred to sleep on the floor than on the bed. The mattress was awful and very old, when you moved even slightly you could hear it squeaking. We had a kid with us and none of us slept that night. Add to that: dogs barking all night, people shouting at the stairs that could be heard in the room as if they were shouting next to us. We had this hotel booked on our way home (we stayed in Tbilisi for one day twice) and I basically changed the booking for a different hotel because I could not imagine spending another night there again.

Grand welcome clean and cozy rooms with good breakfast with daily change in menus. Store just opposite. Staff very polite and responsive to any extra requests

I asked her to help me with a rental car problem. She was very calm and I trusted her words. She looked difficult on the outside, but she was very kind and friendly. I regret not being able to meet her and say thank you.

Location was near the airport and the room was clean and cozy

The rooms are clean, cozy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming, we had a pleasant experience throughout the stay. Overall, I'd say this place provides good value for money and is a suitable choice for both leisure and business.

The only comment is that I didn't expect their airport shuttle cost extra.

The bellboy was very nice and helpful. The hotel is normal, but compared to other hotels with the same price, not that good.

The reception boy couldn't speak Georgian, and his English was poor. When I complained about it, I got scolded by the manager because I wasn't supporting him, since he was from Ukraine. While I was talking to him, he had a lot of sarcastic expressions and didn't talk to us properly. The blanket was in the wardrobe, so we had to put it into a cover, when I complained about it, they said the season was over and that's why, while it's quite cold right now.
