    Pros +

    • The room was big and convenient
    • The staff was very helpful even though they probably forgot about our booking specifically we arrived early in the morning and left our things there to go around town so we can come back for check in time. Everything else they tried to help us with very kind and friendly . Also they have a very nice breakfast.
    • I stayed at the hotel and really enjoyed everything. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

    Cons -

    • The elevator was not working, and we had to use stairs. The hotel checked out us by accident, and we could not open the room. It was before our last night.
    • The fact that we arrived early in the morning left our things there to go around town to come back for check in time. They knew we were already there but forgot about our room making up excuses that the previous people left late. We wait and hour extra after we came back from our walk. Also for the water to be hot you had to wait 10 minutes. It really needs an update on facilities because they were definitely not worth the money.
    • They don’t have a pool although they say there is. They send us to another building to look for swimming pool but we didn’t find it. It easier to get to the beach…..

    View and location

    1. In description, it says they have the swimming pool, but when we arrived, it appeared to be out of order. They did not even offer any kind of refund or moving us to their second building - Astoria Pine. 2. HOTEL looks like a 50-year old, abandoned hotel, ? when it was built about 20 years ago... 3. They said they had 24-7 bar at the hotel, but it appeared to be just a drinks' corner at the Hotel Lobby :( Completely no worth of the money we paid. The maximum price should be 30-40usd and it is barely a 3-star hotel.

    Nothing!

The room was old and feel dirty, Breakfast was not eatable Nothing looks like the rooms’ pictures When asked to move to the other building, got not relevant answer with no option to look at other rooms

The location, historic building, large and nice lobby area, room size - all on positive side.

Carpeting in rooms and some facilities (leakage) in bathroom (#214) need urgent renovation. Cleaning stuff needs training - some days the room was not cleaned at all, on the other hand - they changed the towels even when we left them on rack for reuse.

Big rooms and one receptionist George who polite and finally helped us after complaining about some issues for three days.

The horrible sewage smell coming from the bathrooms. The rude staff who laughed at us when we complained. The rude receptionist Luca who made snappy comments and sent a housekeeping lady to our room with an air refreshener to cover up the sewage smell making it even worse. The hole in the floor of the room 304 or the broken door in our first room 301 or the broken bed in our third room 312The weird receptionist on our arrival at 5am who, after notifying him that our room door is broken, told us that the technician will come. When askef about the exact time he told us “he will come when he comes”. For some reason he didn’t seem to grasp the idea that we would like to go to bed and not wait for someone to fix the door. Spoiler alert - the door was still broken two days later (luckily we managec to get a new room sooner)My friend had to beg two days for a bathrobe and the fact that she had holes in her bed linen that nobody seemed to care about. The fact that we had to put the duvet cover onto the blanket (that we had to look for ourselves) ourselves. The fact that the plumbing didn’t work in the bathroom. The breakfast dishes that were supposed to be hot were cold or the broken coffee maschine that we made notice of to the servers multiple times before they finally did something about it. The fact that the advertised pool was in another building and the bar was closed already a year ago. The fact that we had to renew our keycards every day after returning from sightseeing and that one day the receptionist gave us access to a different room than ours. The “lovely” elevator that took ages and we had to use the stairs if we didnt want to wait whole day. Please avoid this hotel like the plague, it’s not worth the money and it was the most horrible experience in a hotel I’ve ever had.

    Location was perfect

picture of hotel is not real because they have two buildings and they gave us a room in another building. The staffs were unprofessional in behavior .our air condition wasn’t working and they came and told us that temperature is fine no need to use it?.And their cleaning standards were awful.

The room was big and comfy and the balcony was nice.

    Breakfast could be better

    7DmitryPosted on: 8-24-2024

The hotel met my location requirements. The served breakfast was fairly abundant and diverse. The size of the suite was unexpectedly huge. Georgian hospitality. Georgian hospitality. Georgian hospitality.

The room was worn like many others in this city. Don't expect the facade resemble the interior.

The accommodations themselves werre first rate. some of the vrecption staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. The view and the balcony were outstanding additional features, the appointment of the living space was tastefully executed. Outside the problem during initial check in the rest of the reception staff were outstanding and did a great job. The cleaninf staff were wonderful as well.

TV reception was exceedingly poor. The reception staff we encountered when checking in were unfriendly and inattentive. At one point, when we came to ask directions the young man and the woman holding a conversation in the reception area ignored our presence and continued their conversation for some time before I interrupted them. There was no restaurant, The hotel was difficult to locate (the old town is notoriously torturous for driving). The bath tub and sink lacked plugs, so while there was a bath (for our child), it was useless. The swimming pool (one of the resons we chose the hotel) was broken.

Good breakfast, serene location, good amenities, great value for money.

Despite the fact that we requested early check-in, our room was assigned quite late. Late checkout is not permitted, despite the fact that the room was assigned late on the first day. There was no electricity for one night, and there was no backup power. Due to an electrical failure, breakfast was only served with non-cooked items one day. Staff service was bad in terms of assisting and cleaning the room.

The hotel is within walking distance to the city. The breakfast is really good, lots of Georgian dishes. Water was available in the room.

The cleaning was often very late (6 pm) or not comming at all.

Big room and bathroom, comfortable beds, late check out, proper airconditioning, good breakfast. Great to have an indoor pool. Friendly personnel.Location about 10 minutes walk from the tourist streets. Back to the hotel is uphill, then a taxi is advised.

Slow elevator. Pool in another building.

    10RosellaPosted on: 5-29-2024

The location is very convenient to the city center and sights in the old Tbilisi area, few minutes away. The room is spacious and clean. The toilet is huge. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast is superb. Check in and check-out is easy. I will definitely book again in this hotel.

Fancy old school hotel. Located right at the center, quite convenient. Friendly stuff.

    The lift somehow slow.
