Hotel Orion Tbilisi

Location was decent

Mold in the bathroom and mini fridge. Smoke smell in the room.

We stayed only one night and the staff helped us with special requests of water and took care of our needs. We had a good check-in and check-out experience. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. The balcony (though due to extreme cold weather we could not use) was huge and amazing view of the snow-clad mountains. We had one of the memorable stay in a prime location in the city.

Nothing, everything was good and as promised.

Top location, coolest part of Vake district! Beds are super comfy, duvet is warm (fur/feather), pillows could be better btw.The city view from 501 was awesome!

It was +7 outside, central AC heating didn't work. The staff claimed that whole building was turned off from heating system. Apparently hot water was OK, so probably they just decided to cut the cost for the heating in October. We had to sleep in warm clothes (heat-tech) with +18 in the room. If you like to freeze - book it.Breakfast is just a joke, go outside find something better.Lots of cockroaches! I caught and deported at least 5 of them from the room in just 1h. They literally came across my laptop at the table, wow :)

No nonsense staff, I checked in, slept there for two nights and left. Easy and nice. Quiet cozy room, everything's clean.

If we're nitpicking, maybe shower pressure could be better, but there's really nothing to complain about.

the air-conditioner was old and extremely loud. the tv had only Georgian channels, in the bathroom the smell was very unpleasant.

The first night we arrived they give us instead of family room,a triple room,and they didn't give us shower gel or toilet paper enough for a family (just 1) for 4 people .It needs a bit renovation , for example the towels are old

Bedsheets were not changed on daily basis. It was being changed alternately. Spa facilities were not available which was included with the hotel room price.

Breakfast was excellent. Sausages and Indian cuisines also served. Good to find location with the car. They have cosy basement parking lot. Even I arrived after 1 AM, I would park in the basement parking lot.

Elevator is small and scared...

- clean- welcoming and friendly staff - well-equipped rooms- big comfortable bed- very nice balcony - sauna for additional pay

- noise cancelling could be better, but it didn’t bother us a lot- glass door in the toilet is a quite interesting decision

It is impossible to live with cockroaches

We checked into the Orion Hotel around midnight on November 27-28, 2024. We had a small child with us who was very tired from the journey. There were a lot of cockroaches in the room. At first they were only in the bathroom, on the table and around the refrigerator. We wanted to sleep until the morning from fatigue and solve the problem the next day. But at night there were a lot of cockroaches and they crawled everywhere - on the walls and even on our beds. It was impossible to sleep and stay in this room and we checked out after 2 hours. We had to look for a new hotel until the morning. The hotel staff did not refund us anything. It is impossible to stay there, there are a lot of cockroaches. We are attaching the photos. I would like to note that we filmed it after we had already scared them and some of them ran away and hid. In reality, there are many more cockroaches than in the photos.

Top located hotel, everything is easily accessible from there. The hotel is clean, very friendly staff, and great breakfast. The rooms have balconies for smoking, and have a beautiful view.

Now in the fall it is very cold at night in Tbilisi, unfortunately the heating didn't manage to get the room warm even on the highest setting.

Its extremely difficult to find anything positive about this hotel. I could say they set a new record.

I work with police forces in an anti mafia anti county lines role. I am not a copThey were on the phone to the mob to try to get a payment for "hat" as in a lost hat, someone a criminal organisation wants to find, before I had got back inside from a cigarette.This is a world record performance.

Situated just 5 minutes walking distance from the Tbilissi State University and the bus station from where you can take a bus (every 3-5 min) to the city center (10 min. distance). The room was very clean and comfortable for a family of 3. The kids loved the sauna of the hotel. The breakfast was very rich and open till 11 o clock. Many good restaurants nearby, in a walking distance and a minimarket just in 2 min.

The breakfast was very rich but it could have some more vegan options.
