    Pros +

    • Will recommend not to stay there
    • I’m obsessed with this hotel. I treated myself to their presidential suite and it did not disappoint. The room was glorious and the views unmatched. Perfect location too. You’re next to all of the great stops in Old Town without because in the thick of it. The staff is incredibly accommodating, and it was wonderful to have them as points of contact throughout my stay.
    • Beautiful hotel and great option for a group of travelers. Really enjoyed staying here.

    Cons -

    • Too many stairs to climb, staff was not cooperative, they charged us another 250 to give us another room because the room we booked was not given to us and after reaching they said we have to pay extra. After paying so much it was not worth. Breakfast was not good and was same all 3 days we were there. On asking for water they said it’s chargeable. Room was not cleaned properly during our stay.
    • It’s a castle on a hill so prepare for lots of stairs! Big thanks to the staff who carried my luggage up and down.
    • It was a bit difficult to find initially, but a hotel worker found us wandering. And once you know where it is, it is easy to find!

Nice location, boutique, few people in the pool, friendly staff

The room we were in was on the ground floor, staff and guests were constantly passing by our windows

Super atmospheric Hotel with a stunning view, TOP location, and most importantly friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and the interior is very authentic. Our room had a balcony/entrance hall where you can sit and enjoy the view and a glass of wine- perfect for late evening chill. There is an amazing rooftop pool open 24/. Overall - 10/10 and my sincere recommendation.

There is no private parking and if you come by car then you need to park on the street. To get to the hotel, you also need to come up the stairs, which can become quite a fitness if you have a heavy luggage. BUT if you let staff know what time you arrive they’ll help you take the luggage up the stairs (and couldn’t be happier they did so)

An absolutely gorgeous historical location, castle vibe and the room is truly spectacular. Big, elegantly decorated, with its own vibe! The staff was great and very helpful. Location was good in terms of proximity to everything, but difficult when one has a car.

    - no parking and tough to park the car anywhere in the vicinity + lots of hills, narrow roads, very tricky to drive- there were two days in a row when the room wasn’t cleaned at all, was a bit odd and we had to speak with the hotel manager to get that fixed- breakfast was mediocre. The same during the entire week, very limited choice of food at the same time, and it was difficult to understand when to come. There has always been something missing or not ready yet (either at 8 AM when it started or 10:30 when it was way into the duration of breakfast)- the room was the best and most expensive they had at the premises yet it was very loud in the morning, when they started to prepare breakfast apparently. The doors in the room (which we were not able to open) are adjacent to the kitchen or something and they are close to the bed, so the luxury experience I expected was a bit tinted to be honest.

Soooo cool… staying in a castle! What else do you need! Fully and beautifully renovated.. beautiful artworks at every turn… delicious breakfast… helpful staff… gorgeous rooms… amazing views from the many different terraces… a very nice pool and pool house (of course with another fabulous view). So many nooks and castle crannies to explore

There are a lot of steps in old town Tbilisi Georgia. There are a lot of steps in this castle. BUT… the staff assist with luggage from your vehicle to your room. It is worth the extra stairs.

Gorgeous castle from 10th century… enjoyed the stay. Close to everything on a walking distance. Breakfast was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you

The property is beautiful and well preserved. Very close to city centre. The staff was very friendly too.

It’s on an uphill and there are few steps so just be mindful about it. Though the staff helped us with the luggage and everything.

Excellent rooms, charming staff, wonderful ambiance in the way the hotel presented itself, great situation for getting round all that mattered in Tbilisi and unique hotel.

It will improve further when the present work on the garden is completed.

Very beautiful place, good location, close to the mother of Tbilisi. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is cozy and nicely look. You can take many great photos in the hotel. There is a small grey tabby cat living near the hotel, if you see this little one please give some food and greet.

Very interesting property, makes for a unique stay. Lovely team of staff to look after you. Nice views to explore within the property, the infinity pool (once it's ready) should be nice and looking forward to a repeat stay in the summer. Only downside: breakfast. Very very simple. But we didn't mind as there's plenty of good local options around.

The staff were very helpful in finding us parking, directing us to the hotel, and carrying our suitcases up the 50+ steps to the actual hotel from the street. The interior of the public spaces had high, vaulted ceilings, with wonderful Asian and African artworks and antique cabinets, and our room was very spacious, with a high ceiling, mirrors around the entire upper four feet of the walls, an art deco vibe, and original artworks on the walls. The bed was large and very comfortable and the shower was great. Interestingly, the three main functions of a standard bathroom (toilet, sink and shower) were divided into three distinct niches on the same side of the room as the entrance. Altogether, it was a unique and pleasurable experience.

The only downside was just an accident of location: being part of an old castle, access to the property is up a winding series of steps. Initially, until we acclimated to the altitude, we were out of breath upon arrival.

Everything from the decorations and antiques in the hallways, to the back outdoor section with incredible views of the city, the room had a really cool concept and also very big. The staff were friendly and gave good recommendations of places to see in the city.

I loved staying in a castle! It was awesome. There are MANY MANY stairs to get to the entrance of the hotel so anyone who isn't able to handle the stairs shouldn't stay here. The property is beautiful and fun to stay in. I loved the feeling of sleeping in a museum (which is what if felt like!)

The breakfast although included - was not as it was pictured. We didn't eat it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the bell boy Baikar. I believe this is the only good part about our stay at this place.

Very difficult access, the room has nothing to do with castles atmosphere and not very clean. The housekeeping service missed cleaning our room. The bathroom was extremely cold.

Absolutely a scenic viewing with an artistic atmosphere

If you are not familiar with local roads and parking charges don't drive. very difficult find parking around that area. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs

Room was amazing, but I we stayed in Paris room. Staff extremely friendly

The breakfast is not what we are used to, but not bad quality

the historical setting, the staff, the room was gorgeus , well located

The second bed was in very bad conditions. The laundry service quite over priced
