    Pros +

    • The location was very convenient, close to the airport and easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the guy at the reception (Yousef or Osama – sorry I can’t remember exactly) who was extremely polite, helpful, and gave useful information. The room was clean and comfortable for a short stay.
    • The reception staff was very nice, greeted by name, and helped with luggage. The next door cafe is nice.
    • The location is good. Close to the metro and to the center. But the hotel is located in the old destroyed buildings.

    Cons -

    • While the room and bathroom appeared clean, there was a strong sewer smell coming from the toilet. We opened the balcony door to let the room air out for a good 30 minutes but the smell didn't go away.I've informed the receptionist that we are leaving due to the sewer smell, he said he was sorry and he would let the management know to fix it. (He walked us with the luggage into the room, so he'd be well aware of the smell). He didn't offer anything to fix it. After schlepping across the old town to a different hotel, I submitted a courtesy free cancellation request (this was non-refundable reservation) through booking.com saying that the sewer smell in the room is not cool. The owner accused me of planning to leave all along no matter what. And when I told them I left because of the unbearable sewer smell that wouldn't go away and I really wasn't in the mood to argue of this whole experience, I offered them to make this right by just refunding the reservation vs me posting the review of that has transpired (which was really my first inclination), the owner said that my refund request somehow proves that I always intended to leave and that my review was bogus and will be removed by booking.com.Such a bizarre experience, completely uncharacteristic for Georgia. I hope the owner uses the proceeds from my reservation to fix the sewer.
    • In my 15 years of traveling I have never met such a rude and unrespectable receptionist. I don't wanna sound racist but the Indian receptionist acted like a boss and asked me to leave the place as if he is paying for my stay!! Stay away from that Indian receptionist with a long hair. He's a liar and the rudest person. The receptionist should have an access to the booking cabinet. But he doesn't have any access... I asked him to cancel my stay for free.... Finally after waiting for hours and arguing with this rude man I reached to Kate and she canceled my booking. I don't advise anyone to stay at this place if the service and ethics are important for you.
    • Just the water heater sometimes not consistent.

Everything! The location just few minutes from Avlabari Metro Station & Old town. The room spacious & has balcony. Kitchen free to use. And most important is their staff Youssouf was very helpfull & polite. He is the best, he make this hostel feels like 5 star hotel with his service! Thanks sir you even make me finally choose to extend my stays here! Keep it up! You deserves raises from the management. 10 years more traveling around the world and stayed in many hostels, I never meet a hostel staff as good as you sir! ?

Just the water heater sometimes not consistent.

The man in the reception was kind and did a lot that he could. The beds were very comfortable! The location is quite good, close to the old town and to a popular metro and bus stop, you can easily take the bus from the airport and the metro to downtown.

We were not able to check in until two hours after when we were supposed to. We were told "just 10 more minutes" several times yet it took a very long time before the room was ready. I think the staff need to be taken care of better or they need to hire more cleaners. The guy in the reception was very apologetic and kind, however the woman with the small white dog (I think she's the owner?) was not. We did not get any compensation for the lateness. In the corridor outside our room there was a big "bulge" in the floor that was easy to trip on, and there was not enough toilet paper available in the room.

Mr. Yusuf in reception is wonderful man. He is the ultimate staff !!! the only one.

The room shower little problematic.becous the used water coming out until you find your legs in water, out of the shower place. the used water don't run to the pipe out.

Super friendly staff and much sturdier facilities than I expected.

Area is a little dingy but not a huge problem

Location is very good, very nice staffs. Room has balcony.

No elevator but the staff will help you with your luggage and they’re very kind.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay here.

We booked this place just to get a few hours of sleep before our flight, and the guy at the reception was really nice.

The hotel is budget-friendly, so we didn’t expect much. Just keep in mind, it’s a budget option, so don’t expect anything special. The soundproofing is awful

    7RazbaniPosted on: 3-26-2025

The management and receptionist were very welcoming and provided good guidance during my stay. The rooms were clean, which was a positive aspect. The photos of this hostel are very outdated, and the actual condition of the place has changed. While the rooms were clean, the bathroom was not well maintained. There were no curtains for the beds, which affected privacy. The walls were very thin, so we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms. Additionally, the internet speed was not good, and the signal in our room was weak, making it difficult to stay connected.Another inconvenience was that the kitchen was located on the -1 floor, and there were a lot of stairs to get there, but no elevator, making it difficult to access, especially with luggage or after a long day.

Comfortable and quiet, good location and friendly staff.

Wifi is acceptable but for videocalls is not great.

A great place to stay! The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city, and the hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Very helpful staff. Great location. They helped me with my heavy suitcase and the Russian guy waited with me to get the taxi and helped put my suitcase in the car. Beds were super comfy. Stayed longer. Great hostel

    No lift

Very helpful staff. The tall male Russian staff member helped me with my heavy suitcase and on leaving waited for me to get the taxi and helped put it in the car. Beds were super comfy. Location was great and overall quiet. Increased my stay to several nights

No lift, I was in the top floor but got help with my bag

    8KaitlynPosted on: 2-18-2025

Great location. Right next to the metro and bus station. Supermarkets nearby. Reception not 24/7 but until 7pm. They have female only rooms which not many hostels in Tbilisi offer. Relatively spacious rooms. In general does the job. They give you a towel also although I didn’t use.

Don’t think they have a kitchen so if that’s a deal breaker for you, might want to be aware. There is no lift FYI but it was fine for me.
