    Pros +

    • The location was nice. The staff great, and the pizzeria in the building called Doras just terrific (we ate there both nights). We also enjoyed the breakfast and the views in the castle.
    • you are living real Castle Hotel with all modern amenities like double window, floor heated bathroom, spa...
    • The restaurant, main lobby of the Slott, and the room in the second modern building of the hotel were nice and comfortable. The people who work there were very friendly and ready to help.

    Cons -

    • The problem was the quality of the rooms. I think the rooms we stayed in, and which we paid extra to upgrade into, was normally used for conferences. When we arrived the room was made with 1 comforter and 1 pillow, and thinking that the person there would not spend too much time in the room if they attend a conference. No real light to sit and read, no fridge and no coffe/tea maker. A small coathanger to hang clothes, and no drawers to put clothes into.
    • The rooms in the main building «Slott» were worn-out and had a smell. We were grateful that the manager changed our room to a room in the new building.
    • I would prefer more dim and cosier lights and a little quieter and more classical music in the common drawing rooms but that’s just my preference

Great breakfast, amazing chateau with fine art by classic artists, nice staff, comfortable beds, beautiful natural surroundings, nearby cosy café along the promenade along the waterfront outside, near to train stop, 20 min to city, 15 min to university, 5 min to Näsby centrum centre.

I would prefer more dim and cosier lights and a little quieter and more classical music in the common drawing rooms but that’s just my preference

A mix of an old traditional property and modern comfort. Underpinned by welcoming and helpful staff.

The service was exceptionally attentive, beyond to assist us with upgrading our room. The room is newly renovated, spotlessly clean, and offers a beautiful view. Breakfast provides a wide variety of options, and the dinners are exceptional. Highly recommend spending a weekend here!

The hotel/castle is located in a very tranquil spot. It is close to a lake that is very beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast is exceptional. The castle which is the main building is nicely decorated on the inside. The coffee was quite good and the overall meal experience was very positive.

The website does not tell you that more than half of the rooms are outside the main castle. You walk a bit to get to an entirely different building which pretty much does not have the castle feeling. There are no coffee machines or even a pitcher of water in your room. If you want coffee, you have to wait until the main castle opens at 8 am. It's the first time in my life I stayed at a facility that did not provide some sort of hot beverage in your own room.

The surroundings are beautiful. Guests’ rooms are although in a separate building and not in the castle itself. All nice and clean. Stuff very helpful.

The fact that hotel is only called Näsby Slott due to being closed to the castle. Rooms are in a different building in a residential area of Täby.

    8IlkkaPosted on: 7-20-2024

The castle and inside rooms. Breakfast.

No AC in room thus it was too hot to sleep well. Spa and sauna was not open.

A very pleasant country house type of hotel. Nice interior. Perfect breakfast. Free parking very close to the hotel. I will be back!

My room had only a door for ventilation, which I did not feel comfortable using as the room was directly accessible from the street outside.

The hotel environment was fantastic--a really nice building. The rooms had high ceilings and big windows. Breakast was pretty good but not fantastic--the variety could have been better--but again, the restaurant room itself was great.

This was a hit and miss affair: we arrived on a red day and reception was closed, so no access at all to the bar area, pool area or the common lounge. Also, parking was included in the price, but you had to register in reception, which we couldn't so I had to pay for 1 full day. My opinion is that reception should always be open during the day. The rooms were a bit warm and the beds too soft for me, so sleeping was difficult. I don't know what the current trend is with latex mattresses: they do not provide enough support. We paid for 2 rooms and there was no showergel in either. We washed with schampoo but this dries out the skin a lot. The shower doors did not close properly and the gap meant the floor got sprayed from the shower.

    Allt annat än badrummet

No personal when we arrived , very strange for a hotel Mold in the bathroom

This hotel is a historic palace with beautiful furnishings and artwork. Most of the hotel rooms are in an addition to the original building, which means they are modern and clean but don't feel like a historic palace. I thought this was a nice balance of getting to feel like I was sleeping in a palace but still having modern bathrooms and amenities. The room had very tall ceilings and blackout curtains to let you sleep when the sun stays up late during the Swedish summer. The neighborhood is great for exploring--forest paths, lake swimming, boat access, etc. It was easy to get there using public transportation. The breakfast was fantastic!

The room was small--very cozy and had everything that I needed, but you shouldn't expect something like a big American hotel room.

We had 4 rooms at The Nasby Slott. We were blown away by the location when we arrived and the awesome greeting from Mette and the front of house team. Great gym (we had it to ourselves). Fantastic breakfast in a lovely library style room. We loved it! Very relaxing place. Comfy beds and rooms

We used taxis to get into central Stockholm areas (20 mins), believe you can get a train though. Just saying it’s not right in the centre but for us, perfect!

    Nice main building

We got a smaller room than what was booked. No AC. The mini fridge was not working. The room was very tiny.

I booked a superior room but then I found it is in another building and it is not inside the slott! I was shocked at the beginning. But...The staff the person at reception ,madelina she was really kind and could understood our situation and change our room to one of the rooms inside the slott with a different level. I love the breakfast and the environment inside the slott and the nature around the castle. I appreciate the staff's behavior and thank them.

The better rooms are in different building! No safety box!

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Location perfect for our family.

Next time I will try a larger room. Choices of dinner menu could be considered limited.

This was my second stay, and the athmosphere and environment is beautiful as always. Good breakfast, attentive and friendly staff, nice room with comfy sofa chairs by the window.

The bathroom was quite cold, especially the floor. We stayed in a room in another building quite far away from the castle. There was no kettle although in the booking it was descibed that kettle was included.

    7AndersPosted on: 11-2-2023

Great breakfast in my taste. Clean room, nice shower, free parking, comfortable bed.

Some more hangers for clothes could be added. Only 2 in the warderobe. Maybe a small croissont to the breakfast coffe could be added. ? No really negative things.
