Pros +
- The room was very clean. That is important to use. Lots of nice amenities. The owner obviously wants to provide very high quality. The towels were the best I have ever had down from a 5 star hotel. They provided booties for our feet and nice toiletries. The room was very big which made the sparce furniture stand out. Everything was new and the bed was excellent.
- Excellent staff, very nice room, very clean and comfortable,
- Fantastic location. Good value. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Quiet historic building near the bottom of the famous stairs. Lovely people. Good breakfast, adapted for a vegetarian. Good tips on where to eat. Vanessa and Anna are treasures. They helped with transport when I was stranded courtesy of Trenitalia who were running buses due to track work, but....the bus never showed up. Sicily has its challenges so good help can be invaluable. I recommend.
Cons -
- The general location was central but difficult. All the strees are one way so when you miss it (notice I said when, not if), you will spend sometime getting back to the same spot. Parking is on the street and we parked 3 blocks away and walked up. It was hard to find the entrance (one small sign) and once through the first door we had to ask people working in their shops how to get to the hotel entrance. It was one of a number of doors out of this terrace. Then we walked up and there were no additional signs. When I finally got to the top floor I had to choose between two doors and picked the wrong one. Before you go, get more details and hope for better signage. Once inside, you will be pleased.
- Did not expect so many stairs and complicated entry.
- Maybe a blanket. The Aircon worked fine, though.

Great staff, very clean, comfortable and in some respects way more than comfortable. Excellent location. However there are a lot of stairs, no lift, 2nd floor but very high ceilings so more like 4 th floor. keys and entrance not intuitive, but I’m old so that could be my issue. Age aside they need more light by street door (both sides) also, good to know you need to go through the entrance “patio “ of palace go to left and start up the stairs. All under 50 will love this place, 50-70 some effort, 70- on (my category), doable. The delightful woman at front desk will get you help with your luggage
The keys.
Large, clean, comfortable room in a building with a lot of character.
3 flights of stairs no elevator
Excellent location, great host (Vanessa!!), great value, easy to find. Vanessa was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with.

This hotel is so cute, clean and very well located. The hotel is beautiful and historical from the inside to outside - you can see people taking pictures of it all the time. The staff are amazing and VERY kind, they made everything possible to make our stay very special. They helped me and my mother bring the luggage upstairs, they gave us tips on what to do in town, which shops to go, restaurants.. They kindly asked us what would we like for breakfast and made this amazing table with things that we like (this will be forever in our memory). The owners are so thoughtful and they really wanna make you feel welcome, if we could we would have stayed even longer because we loved the hotel and the staff!
Location was perfect, right in the city center. Breakfast was outstanding, the owners went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!
Nothing wrong!
Very clean roomFriendly peopleIt was an unexpected experienceVeronica and her sister are great, friendly and always available to help, in order to make your stay comfortable.
clean with friendly staff. modern facilities. good breakfast
lots of stairs to get to the reception, but stairs are a thing in Caltagirone.
Location is right in the city center, breakfast is outstanding and people running the hotel are kind and attentive. Definitely I strongly recommend this place.
Actually nothing, it was all just perfect.
A mini hotel run by the most friendly family you can find. Two sisters and there father helped us in any way posible. It is located at a perfect location to visit all the places you need to see. Free parking on the property. Breakfast was very good with local pastery, coffee, juice, you name it is was there. There are a few stairs to climb but nothing to worry about. A definite place we are going to stay next time we visit. Look no further this is the place to be!!
Our room at hotel WF2 was one of the nicest of our car trip around Sicily. Very spacious, there’s plenty of room to unpack and unwind. The bed was very comfortable and service was impeccable. The bathtub- shower offered a great soak. Breakfast was delicious and served to our dietary preferences. The location provided easy access to local touring. Thank you to a super friendly, helpful staff.
There are two challenges at this property. Finding tgd hotel and finding parking are a bit tricky. Additionally, the hotel is on the second floor of a grand old building and there is no lift. This said, the staff provide immediate help to negotiate these two challenges, even carrying one of our bags up the stairs.
Very friendly welcome, though only a little English spoken. Good room (economy double), pretty well equipped with small balcony and courtyard view. Firm bed, but that's normal. Nice to have a couch in the room. Safe. Very clean. Excellent shower. Nice breakfast which you choose the night before.
The only negative was the thin door which meant we could overhear conversations in reception right next to us (we were in room 1). A thicker door or another internal door would massively increase privacy. To be fair, this wasn't a problem at night as it was very quiet. The courtyard below, where you can park for free (though it is a tight fit) is closed and locked from 1900 and you have a key to enter.
really nice place and warm hospitality, perfect location, good tips for eating and shopping. much recommended! thank you for this time
In the charmingly renovated former palace, we had two lovely hosts, who even took our suitcases up three flights of stairs to the 3rd floor. The rooms were modern and very well equipped and clean. A fantastic breakfast which left no wishes open, including local cold cuts and cheeses and delicious pastries. The location, in the center of town, could not have been better. We even had a parking space in the inner courtyard.
The location is just perfect right in thehistorical center! you have the most beautiful view from the balcony! Our host was the cutest and very welcoming and helpfull! i deffinately would like to return here one day!
everything was perfect!
friendly and helpful reception and good location to visit Caltagironebeautiful and spacious room with beautiful view on the city and the steps
bathroom has some ‘sanitary shortcomings’the window does not block any of the street noise. it’s like sleeping with open window.
it was a beautifully redone, historic property in the center of the town.
It was fine, it was just not easy to find the Location..
