-breakfast table nicely decorated with room number-breakfast ok

-Didn't feel welcome after last minute booking. -Quit night not possible because of noise from the entrance until late hours. -Cigarette smoke smell upon entering, not nice during pregnancy.-When showering or visiting the toilet in the room next to you, you can also hear. -Cleaning crew also came to chase us away before checking out around 9am.

we travelled bi Motorcycle, .. the area is clearly visited by bikers and the owner allowed us to secure our bikes in the court yard.. it really was a fab stay and i will defo use again. perfect location, great food, great staff,

Friendly stuff, good breakfast, near the water.

Old property. Too expensive for the room facilities. Bathroom in room „420“ was dripping and this the air was super humid.

Fab location next to the lake. Lovely boat ride. Staff really helpful.

Hotel feels a bit old but is Excellent Quality. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was Excellent, clean, comfortable, good Bathroom, Excellent bed. The Wifi was surprisingly good for german standards.

The gentleman at reception was fantastic… very friendly combined with professionalism and knowledge of the local area. Greetings from Finland!!!

Where a small improvement could be made is at the breakfast buffet, with the addition of some vegetables, for example… cucumbers & tomatoes.

Very good location for hiking.

Some noise from outside coming from some machine ( room in the backside of the building), it's disturbing as you can't open the window.

Hotel Rooms are really wearied, Carpets are dirty, Locks are mechanical and are not working.Bathroom Toilet are not good.

all restaurants where closed. the staff was so kind to open up the kitchen so we could eat a perfect schnitzel. many thanks ?

The waiter service was badly organised, long wait 40 minutes to get a drink I ordered three times...food took longer... and they were not that busy.

Breakfast was amazing, room beautiful and staff really helpful and polite.

Not for the first time we suffered again by being allocated ‘A Booking.com Room’! as has happened elsewhere on a number of occasions (eg Hotel Rheinpark in Rees)the room allocated was about as far away from Reception as was possible. In this case, Room 323 was farthest equal with Room 324 from the centre of the hotel, on the third floor with no lift beyond the first floor and steep staircases - a long hike with luggage. Booking.com might care to be aware of this practice which I suspect may be widespread.Breakfast was at best moderate, as was dinner.

Bit dated especially bedrooms, understandable considering pandemic. Menu choice rather limited and many dishes stodgy.

staff is friendly enough, rooms are spacious for the money, room was clean, location is excellent overseeing the lake.continental breakfast is fine, nothing special. the bread rolls were very tasty and fresh.

the interior design is stuck in the 1980’s, lighting in restaurant etc is way too bright, flies are very bothersome in the restaurant (both late evening when no food was around and during breakfast).

Location excellent. Both evening meal and breakfast were good. Secure parking for my motorcycle.

We liked the comfort, the accessibility, the room with our dog and the breakfast. The old-style decoration has a certain charm.

If I may suggest, ask a room as far as possible from room 218, we had a room on the same area but above. Those permanent resident listen to the TV all night long. At 3AM I had to knock to ask to low down the sound.... A woman scream at the door "WIE IS DAT" "POLIZEI" , I didn't want to talk loudly on the hallway in the middle of the night... They were 2 in the room, very rude because the woman continued to scream without answering the door. I went to the reception where they only took my complain, the woman didn't speak German and she said that she was going to talk to the manager. The 218 low down the TV a little bit but still, I could hear it. I had a terrible sleep.
