Side Su Hotel - Adult Only (+16)

Very good breakfast and other meals, excellent workers in the restaurant area. Unfortunately, the staff at the reception were completely opposite.

We got a room on ground floor. Huge mistake, because the room had a bad humidity odor/smell that we felt throughout our stay. Apart from being unpleasant, it is also very unhealthy to breathe that kind of air during the sleep. I tried to get a regular business invoice several times (at the reception, sent several emails) but to no avail. Person at the reception asked me "What is an invoice?" and did not want to print it or send it to me. Still haven't received an invoice after more than a month since our check-out.

Great location, close to the beach , swimming pools one with a bar free drinks . Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food , every day different things to eat , restaurant on the top of the hotel with beautiful views. October weather still very nice 30’ during a day 20 at night time. The hotel provides entertainment, music , shows. U can’t be bored there . I can recommend the hotel 11 out of 10 . Beds comfy, rooms with good air conditioning, clean but not necessary 5stars rating. In general for the price we paid everything was excellent !!! Me and my 5 girlfriends love it ?

We had some issues with our room , but was solved very quickly, professionally and with a smile. So I can’t really complain. And in a busy big hotels it’s normal something can go wrong any time . So guests should always be prepared for little issues to appear .

The hotel, the food, the location and views were amazing. The cleaning staff were fantastic and the staff at the restaurant were beyond amazing. Especially Hassan, he was incredibly kind and attentive. Always with a smile in his face and wiling to help. We are definitely coming back to Side Su hotel next year.

everything. Food poor. No AC for 2 days reported to staff 4 times, when engineers eventually turned up they left our room wide open for many hours and went to another job. I spoke to the manager on reception and he was just smirking all the way through our conversation. Eventually we were offered a new room as they couldn't fix it (which should of already been offered). 2 days of the holiday the bar opened late and we had to keep asking, half the drinks they didn't have 80% of the time. Wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to stay here. I've travelled alot and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Uncomfortable

The bed in our room was terrible, sleeping on the floor would be much comfortable. The restaurant was on the top floor of the hotel. Staff were most likely speaking only german. The whole area was separated into 3 part, each on different level. We attended a live show in the hotel, unfortunately it was unpleasant for our ears, the guy manipulating with the notebook and sound had no common sense. The sound was so loud and he even pushed it much louder for no reason, my ear almost popped, had to leave after a minute or two. Not much vegetarian option, terrible coffee

I liked simply everything. I can only say that i miss Side Su Hotel already. Beds are huge and comfortable, the shower big and very modernein fact, it is much better than many five stars hotel I have been to. The food is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The position of the restaurant at the top of the building facing the sea that gives a complete panoramic view is something incredible. I also enjoyed the peace and quiet of not having children screaming all around. Said buly someone that afores children, but if u need a break, this is the place.

That i didn't stay long enough

Food was pretty good, for the most part. View from the balcony and the terrace was nice. Beachside was simple and nice. Location was great as well as you could walk the harbourfront for hours.

Lack of true turkish cuisine such as kebabs, as well as good coffee. Wifi is spotty. Wish there was a microwave available in the room. Beer selection was minimal. Entertainment was okay.

Most of all – the restaurant located on the roof floor from where you can enjoy the fantastic view of the city and the sea. Nice and cozy facility, clean territory, tasty food.

The lobby bar closes at 23:00. Longer working time would be better.

The food was very bad. The water in the shower was not warm enough. The restaurant was very nice but very crowded. We have to wait in line for elevator all the time. The stuff are very nice, but cleaning of the territory was always in the middle of the day and floor was wet and dangerous to walk, especially for elderly people. The spa is nice, but only sauna was complementary. You need to pay for everything else.

I had a great holiday as a solo traveler, especially because I met another solo traveler staying in the same hotel and we had a blast... The food was great, especially the Turkish dinner night!Nice pools, amazing sandy beach coast. Clean hotel, definitely a great value for money.Will hopefully return again soon!

One staff member was just getting on our nerves, but in general the rest were helpful and a nice bunch, so it did not sour the experience.

Location was nice, not that far away from city. Ive been in Side many times over 20yrs. You can walk by the beach or take bus to whatever place you want to go. Staff was very nice people, friendly, helpful, especially Emre and Hibachi (i hope his name is correct).. Thank you!

Cleaning service was horrible, during my stay i put sign for cleaning just 2times, because i wanted new towels, water, wc paper. I put my towels on the ground and they put them back dirty, never vacuumed floor, it was with hair, sands from the beach.. and in the end. I walked to cleaning room and take wc paper and water by myself. About towels- i used my own.

- Free water throughout the hotel- Near to the beach and free sun loungers- 30 minute walk away from Side Old Town - 2 nice waiters who were very hardworking (Hicabi and Pinar)

Unfortunately, there were many problems with this hotel and shocked that it is even labelled as a ‘4 star’… The management is by far the biggest let down of this hotel and has ruined its potential to be successful. It seems to be common knowledge that there is a very weird aura with this hotel. Many nights we witnessed the events manager, who would camp out in the ‘Wall Bar’, and waited for younger female guests to convince them to come to the ‘Karma Club’. This created an uncomfortable aura for other guests witnessing. For those who don’t know, this club is a local scam and the managers get commission and free entries by bringing tourists with them. Fortunately, we did not fall for this scam.The hotel seemed only to cater for the Eastern European guests (apart from 2 waiters above who treated all guests equally). For instance, as British guests we were ignored by waiters if we wanted a drink with our meal. Seemed that the hotel catered food for Eastern European guests only and there was not much variety. Food was shocking quality and consisted of overcooked meats, rice and chips on rotation every day.The next big issue was the smoking surrounding the hotel. Despite there being no smoking signs, many guests would smoke inside the buildings and also on the roof terrace which was unpleasant when eating a meal. Staff did not seem to stop people from smoking in ‘no smoking areas’. There were no smoke alarms in rooms which resulted in many guests smoking within the rooms. Some of the guests that visited this hotel were very rude and seemed to drink all day.We also didn’t appreciate constantly being pressured every morning to buy a freshly squeezed juice. As this was an all inclusive hotel, I was surprised that this was not included… After a few days, this became tiring as staff were relentless in trying to sell to you. The cleaning of the rooms was also a joke.

We arrived on the evening of 25th of September and after having a stressful journey we were give our room at the other side of the hotel not even within hotel ( as we were last year) we quickly complained to the evening staff and was told to come in morning or pay an additional charge of € 50 if we wanted an upgrade we both said no as we had already paid quite a bit to have this holiday , in the morning after breakfast( if you can call it this ) we went back down and another member of staff named Miriam was at reception together with Mustafa who we think was manager we explained that we wanted to change our room and be within hotel as it was more comfortable and as my husband has back issues too the bed in our room was most uncomfortable and room itself was very small , manager said that nothing was available but something would be available on the morning of the 30th so we said that would be fine he wrote it in the reception diary but on the morning of the 30th he just blanked us both and nothing was done !!!!Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional we left on 8/10/2023 I asked for a pack lunch as we needed to check out by 12 , please see photo attached, no water and a pack lunch if you can call it this very disappointing ???? We paid quite a bit for this stay and was left absolutely disgusted and disappoint not with the money at all good was crap no choice at all and entertainment was poor

The reception staff very rude and unprofessional and unhelpful,the hotel itself has something uneasy about it the manager in The Wall Bar downstairs is some sort of sex predator made me feel very uncomfortable and any young girls that arrived he would quickly get them to go to this Karma Club and god knows what went on there!!!!

Very good value for money, good sellection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, slightly repetitive but very nice and always something for everyone. Great views from the 5th floor open air restaurant, no children somehow made the mood relaxing and enjoyable which was nice.

The wall bar was a little rough, on the road side and open to the public. Could be a little more sophisticated and relaxed with better turns. It's worth paying a little supplement for a better room at this hotel, there is 3/4 different blocks with some rooms not very private, a higher room in the main block with sea view is worth paying for.

The beach - (the lifeguard there was so serviceminded and nice.)Restaurant - Good food, good staff, tho they were running and rushing around all the time. You could feel the stress they were having, poor people. You didnt feel relaxed sitting there and eat.

-We didnt get the room we payed for. The pictures and the info about the room is not reality. The room and balcony was so small. Bed was the badest bed we ever slept in, was a pit in the middle of bed so we had to sleep on the sides. -I guess reception staff could be more happy? If you dont like your job, change it. -No real cleaning in the rooms, no changing bedsheets, no new towels. (Cleaning staff was so busy, felt sorry for them) -We smelled smoke in our room and bathroom often. -A man and woman was walking around selling smoothie drinks in the restaurant in an all inclusive hotel? that was something new for us! Not so pleasant. Try that on the beach instead! Why you accept more guests in the hotel than you can handle? People come there and pay for their vacation, its not okay to tell people that you are "overbooked" and then it surpasses your guests.
