Side Star Resort Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

Choice of food was vast. the attention to detail by the chefs is insane. presentation is 10 out of 10. I counted 14 different types of olives alone. cleaning staff work so hard. all staff and holidaymakers were courteous. Mostly used by German citizens, so there was a good buzz of various German soccer teams who were staying, obviously training or playing at the nearby football facility.Decor of hotel is really fresh. Nothing shabby or tired here. We had an interconnecting double and twin. The kids were in the twin which had safety windows and we had the balcony in ours.Lifts and ramps throughout and automatic doors so very easy to get around if you have a buggy or wheelchair.Games room with 2 lane bowling alley, pool tables,arcade games. Disco which has some live act on every night. We didn't go as we were in bed before they started! Outdoor there is a kids mini club which has climbing frames, tree top harness thing, my two were too old, but it was operating. Other outdoor areas had table tennis, basketball, tennis, outdoor gym equipment.Spa available for various treatments and fitness centre.Plenty taxis available right outside the hotel. 20 mins drive to Side town with the ancient ruins, we went twice, found a cute little restaurant (anatolia's) with some resident baby tortoises that they let you feed. Anyway back to the hotel...You could eat and drink from 7am until 8pm if you were so minded! The local beer Efes is tasty. Reception staff are efficient and responsive. Communication between staff seems very goodWe went in February and my teenagers were able to use the smaller outdoor heated pool and waterslides. There were some tiny kids in there too. Now it wasn't exactly warm water. There was an indoor pool too which has a lifeguard. The main pool was like an ice bucket challenge which was expected. No lifeguard out there, but there is one when they run the waterslide for 2 hours, twice a day if sunny enough and enough demand.

the neighbourhood is going through some development.Music in pool bar and indoor bar was crooners and it was pretty boring.

Very nice hotel considering the money we paid for the stay. Nice room, good food, and plenty of drink options. Staff in general were really good.

The hotel needs to inform guests about the large number of football teams who stay there during the winter months for a football tournament. Groups of young males can become rowdy after drinking all day, and the noise levels at night aren't really acceptable for couple and especially young families and older people. I had to complain twice when it was affecting my young children.

Absolutely horrible hotel would not recommend all staff are stuck up. Food not clever. And dogs and cats walking all over hotel And restraunt.Should be called the zoo star hotel.

Everything it’s amazing really and their activity and food are excellent we enjoyed so much even u don’t need to leave the hotel

The worst hotel recetion staff

Reception staff especially Ergin..very un coopertaive stiff mind!!! Others not understand what we want exactlyThe wost hotel i reside in Even their Taxis dont have card machine.. we should pay cash!!!!!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everywhere was very clean and tidy - the room was a very good size, cleaned daily and the minibar was included in the all inclusive package and refilled daily.The food was lovely, and there's a lot of choice.It was very family friendly, lots for the kids to do.Lots of sunbeds available, plenty of chairs inside and out.

Nothing to complain about, everything was very good.

everything was perfect i booked for my family and they upgraded their room they arrived before the check in time and they immediately took them to their roomit was clean food was good staff were nice night activities were fun

room cleaning delayed little but, cleaning set (shampoo, toothpaste...et.) was provided 1st day only and never been renewed :(

I booked this hotel for my parents so first night upon arrival they were given a lower class room than booked, room it was attic room under roof and my elderly father hit his head when going to bed because of the low roof over his bed which he did not see in dark. When I called reception they asked me why did not tell my parents express their dislike for room immediately and that is unacceptable because it wasn’t the type of room i paid for so I to to complain in written form to be upgraded so first day was very disappointing. I also asked for price difference for first night to be calculated and subtracted because room was of lower class but not really sure if they did that.Food is good but not the best quality especially fish is low quality cheap fish. During 12 nights stay kitchen had grilled fish and meat only 3 times.French juice is charged 1 eurFruits very low quality, no seasonal fruits like cherries etc..My father got flu during last two days and whe he went to medical room and asked for doctor to check him they said it will cost 100 eur . Thats a total rip off, such check ups cost 20 eur in other hotels.

Holiday spoilt by the hotel being taken over by what looked like a football tournament with youths swamping the buffet and the lounge otherwise on another occasion without the footballers it would have been nice.also nowhere to walk to outside the hotel I think the other side star hotel nearer side would have been a better choice a shame really because the management team worked hard to run the hotel
