Pharos zur Seeve

Price was good and it was available when I needed the room on relatively short notice. Plenty of parking space. Friendly stuff.

Noise starting at 6am, tin and badly isolated walls. Activity in the back yard where my window was placed. Bugs in the room.

More of just a overnight stay while hiking. Nothing fancy, just a clean place to sleep.

The room was small but clean. Bed as new. Cleaning staff first class. Service staff first class. But most importantly the food is first class 5 star quality

The TV did not work and I am quite sure most TV’s did not work. Very old system. No Lan possibilities or blue tooth. So no chance for apple tv or laptop. Wifi signal is terrible. Ok for radio. But YouTube or any streaming services on iPhone is not reliable in rooms. Shame really. But the price and quality of food cannot be ignored .

I booked for a night and no one welcome me at the reception BEFORE 00h00. I slept in the car

room needs renovation. It was really hot. Smells from the restaurant downstairs.

We were passing through, so we didn't spend much time there, but the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the staff was kind.

Noise at night.

size of room was ok. washbasin in room was useful. okay for overnight halt on way to Denmark.

bedsheets were not clean and had smell. noise in building due to wooden flooring disturbed my sleep till midnight. shared toilet was not clean and used by several others. breakfast was just basic.

Breakfest was good (ham, several kind of cheese, bread, coffe, tea etc).

Awful smell goes to rooms from kitchen (burned oil) because down stairs is restaurant. We were already in 5 minutes of stay all in this smell. Sometime this smell mixed with smell of cigarettes and it was even worse. We spend night with wide opened window but it helped not much. Toilet is one for all rooms in floor. Shower is in the same room as toilet so if you take shower others cannot enter. Toilet and shower were clean but garbage bag in toilet was not (it looked discusting). View in pictures much better than in reality. Would not recommend stay in this place.

Apparently the Hotel was overbooked, but were moved to another hotel 5 min away (Meyer Hotel). No breakfast offered at this hotel, and wifi didn’t work.

The hotel Pharos zur Seeve had a damage by water and therefore we have been relocated to another hotel. The relocation was done pretty fast and a staff member even accompanied us with his car to the new place. The rooms were good and had a good price/quality ratio.

Since the alternative hotel was actually closed, there was no breakfast.

The staff was nice. The shared bathroom was clean.Dogs are allowed.

The furniture in the room was very old, much different as in the pictures.The rooms are above the kitchen, therefore the smell came all the way to the second floor to our room.Due to this connection with the kitchen, it was a bit noisy, which irritated not only us, but also our dog.Therefore we packed our things and left. If you need a quiet stay after a long drive and have a dog, I would recommend to look for another stay.

Nice little room with recent furniture.

Pretty basic, no kettle, tea and coffee as it usually is pretty standard. Shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom apart from a soap dispenser at the sink. In the morning the other guests were quite noisy on the landing

No toilet and shower in the room, we did not mention this when we book it. Not happy for that, even it was cheap price.

Good guys run it. Well recommended. Perfect for car travellers. Hotel with good restaurant.
