- Location
- The hotel is in a super nice location and there is a lot to do with kids. We were there in winter and would definitely come back in spring or summer. The pool was never overcrowded and the kids corner was nice. The room was perfect, with a bunk bed for the kids a bit separate from the rest of the room.
- The bed was comfortable and the soap smelled nice.
Cons -
- Closed restaurant on Monday night. I had to drive 20 km to a restaurant to get something to eat
- The menu and food of the restaurant was disappointing. The kids menu was absolutely sad with no healthy options at all. I had a burger and it was so badly cooked. We ordered gin tonics and a bottle of red wine. We got the gin tonics and then the food also immediately arrived. Hence, we cancelled the order of the red wine. In the first place, they did not have a classic Côtes du Rhône, which was on the wine list...?! When we finally wanted to pay, it took over 20 minutes for the bill to arrive. I could go on about how bad the service was, with no senior around at all, no proper timing on the order or the service of the order. The breakfast was boring and nothing was fresh. It was super disappointing. While the choice of sweet (industrial) pastries etc. was plenty, there was very little choice of cheese (and you could see where the cheese got dry from having been plated for a long time (you know when you take off a slice and it is brighter underneath?), fruit, vegetables etc. It was the same everyday with some weird combinations like soggy courgette with beans and sausage. Not even on New Years day did they serve anything special for breakfast. There was also no snack food served in the lobby. It would be great to come back from a walk or seeing the surroundings and have a small snack in the lobby. They only serve bitterballen and some random cheese cubes. One would expect at least a club sandwich with some fries or so...While the swimming pool was easy to access and not crowded, it was clear why. The water was super cold, so that even the kids did not want to stay in long. Advertising as a family hotel, it would be nice if the water was warmer and hence more enjoyable for everyone.
- The swimming pool was so dirty you couldn't see the bottom, the room was dusty, there was a fire hazard (bedlamp that wasn't properly attached and crackles when you tried to turn it on). Room service was advertised, but they didn't pick up. When asked about this, they just said 'No.'. Some staff were friendly, but not all. The halls smelled. Fries eggs at breakfast were still partly raw. We didn't eat them, but still got sick from something. We left after 3 nights, instead of the planned 10. Booking.com hasn't responded to our request for a refund yet, it's been a week.I spoke to someone that was there last year, and they told me they had a much better experience last time. They also thought it was dirty this time around. They also shared that their shower gel and handsoap wasn't being restocked. We were there with our baby and 5 year old.

Great location, very clean
Parking was full when we arrived and it was tricky to find a space somewhere else… the lady at the reception wasn’t very friendly and helpful
Facilities, swimming pool, comfortable bed and clean room
Hot shower in the swimming pool area.
Location
Expensive breakfast Restaurant fullRoom cleanliness
The hotel is comfortable, the rooms quiet and the location is perfect for exploring the area.
The only negative was how dry the air in the room got. Even with 80% humidity outside the air in the room was dry as old bones. We woke up with sore throats more than once.
Nice location and well functioning facilities
Too much chlorine in the swimming pool.
Location is fantastic and the bunk bed in the family room was a big hit with the kids.
Breakfast on both days was understaffed and everything was running out: plates, bowls, pancakes, coffee machines breaking down. In the beginning, around 9.30am, only one lady was on the floor trying to do it all - clean dirty tables of people that have left, replenish the buffet, refill coffee beans... an impossible task and guests felt for her. Second day same issue. The pool in the basement was busy with young families, so clearly a popular feature of the hotel. However, the water was very cold - a feeling only made worse by the showers nearby that were very/too hot.In the room itself, bed comfort was ok - the cushions were very big though, especially for the kids' bed. For the lower bunk bed, a fall-out protection on the head side would be an improvement.

The location is perfect for access to all the amenities except most are closed at this time of year. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good with a large selection of
The restaurant was not available for evening meals.
Pleasant
Firstly it was very obvious, that the hotel wanted to save money and there was a general neglect: dirty windows, dirt under the bed, a very cold pool which was just heated up for the weekend; a closed rainforest shower to save water. Dinner: the service in the restaurant was very poor - despite a very nice waitress who was left alone by the bartender, we waited more than 30 minutes for drinks, looking at the bottle of wine waiting on the desk, while the bartender was just watching around, the food was arranged in a very nice way - but the dressing was readymade, so were the sauces, parts of the food were very untasty and some elements unidentifiable, the veggies came from the deepfreezer - however suprisingly the meat was good and the fries were homemade . the cordon bleu for the kids were to vienna scallops glued together with a piece of raclette cheese (from the outside) , the vienna scallops were from the freezer and not homemade; Breakfast: the egg looked disgusting and was brought in one big pot at the beginning of the breakfast and never refreshed and exchanged until the end of the breakfast, the beans were dried out, the veggies were oily, the cheese and charcuteries have all changed colour during and looked old, the fruit salad was made by rotten pears. Nobody cleaned the tables of the breakfast room, so if not asked, you needed to take a seat at a dirty table.
Good locationNice restaurant and bar
-The check in was not on time, they didn’t have the room ready after 3pm. -Once I entered the room, there was no soap in the bathroom and I found trash from the previous stay (an open bottle of water and a plastic bag)-the heating/airco was noisy -Very messy pool and it smells pretty chemical -pretty overcrowded breakfast (maybe it’s not always like that) we didn’t like it -parking is extra fee (should be explicitly written)
The hotel is a proper hotel with still a bit of village charm. 24 hour check-in is rare in this region
There is very limited staff at the bar and it takes a long time to get a drink or pay.
Super comfortable bed, got the best sleep ever here. Delicious breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Swimming pool. Smart TV.
No slippers, robes or towels for the swimming pool.
Very good rooms.Good breakfastDog friendlyVery, very friendly staff
Brand-new, modern hotel - the main lobby with late-night bar was a pleasant place to wind up the day. Team all v. friendly. Shower good and hot, bed comfortable and the room quiet and clean.
Not much! I really have no (-) comments at all!
The hotel is in a small town the facilities are nice However we could not get a table for dinner and most of the Restaurants were closed that night so we got our food from the Supermarket
A restaurant open for guests
We arrived earlier than the scheduled time of checking-in butt the friendly staff lady brought us in.The location of the hotel from Han sur lesse cave, safari and museum is only 500 meters away.
Restaurant in the hotel is pricey and menu was not satisfying.
