The resort was beautiful, situated seaside, clean and lots of open space

The location access was isolated so at night it felt eerie driving down a dusty road that felt industrial

Beautiful resort, kind helpful staff and loved the area of Sciacca

I have been surprised that there is no tissue or washcloth available at any place we stayed… At that level the beach towels look more like rags… than towels.Dinner was expedited by the staff and not as good as expected. No water fountain available besides the reception.

Everything. This property was gorgeous. Food was exceptional. Staff was wonderful. Beach and pools beautiful.

Only negative is the sulfur smell from the healing pool. And the club sandwich at pool bar was sub par. Everything else exceptional.

Good location, great food both in the buffet and the restaurants, splendid views all around, overall helpful staff.

The private beach was full of slipery stones, quite easy to get hurt when getting into the water. Also the toilets were out of order.

Avoid this resort. The photos and descriptions online are misleading and do not reflect the reality of the property. Resort Mangia’s Torre Del Barone is part of a larger network of resorts in the area, and from the moment you arrive, it’s clear that maintenance and care are lacking across their facilities.The swimming pool was dirty and poorly maintained, the entire resort felt overcrowded and chaotic—especially with constant noise from children—and it was difficult to find or enjoy any relaxing space. Staff were largely inconsiderate and unhelpful, which only added to the frustration.In short, this resort falls far below expectations. If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable stay, I strongly recommend choosing a different destination.

Great location with a lovely environment. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We tried the buffet and the pizza restaurant, and both were very good. The beaches were quiet and beautiful. Overall, a really enjoyable stay.

As this is the 5-star resort in the shared area, it sometimes felt like guests from other hotels and even locals on weekends were using the facilities. This made the beaches and other areas less peaceful at times.

It was a bit hard to find normal food like regular pasta. Restaurants are trying hard to impress but it is not about simple traditional Italian meals. You can go to a small town near by. Breakfast is great though.- Spa is available only for 1h for the whole stay

The hotel offered a lovely view and excellent value for money. Ms. Antonina at the reception was very friendly and helpful; she explained and presented the hotel in a professional and detailed manner. Mr. Pierro served excellent coffee at breakfast, and the omelettes were delicious as well.

The breakfast service was a bit disorganized, and it was confusing to find a table. In all the other 5-star hotels I have visited, I was always escorted to my table, so perhaps that could be a solution here. Additionally, the sunbeds by the pool were not very comfortable. The hotel staff could not speak English, apart from reception. We also noticed a charge of 90 euros for a massage we didn’t receive, but they promptly removed it from our bill once we brought it to their attention.

Spa is excellent, main bar great, room was OK!

Please be aware that the indoor pool produces a strong sulphur smell (unpleasant) which permeates throughout!I would not have stayed here knowing this.The bistro restaurant is pretentiously overpriced and not worth a visit; worst Italian I’ve ever had, sad to say, with little attention to service!Breakfast is just OK… substandard for this rating of a property!

Everything was superb. From the wonderful staff to the variety of restaurants and exceptional facilities such as the wellness spa, thermal sulphuric pool, outdoor pool and beach club to the Padel & tennis courts and delicious breakfast buffet spreads. The room was incredibly clean and well laid out. The view of the sea was spectacular and the beds were extremely comfortable.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we had stayed for a few more nights . We would highly recommend this resort.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The views from the terrace and restaurant were nice. The overall setting was nice.

This hotel is mid-sold as a 5 star. It does not meet that standard. The swimming pool area is awful and poorly maintained. The indoor pool is out of action and smells. The toiletries are below luxury level. The food is average at best. The half board has no flexibility to not eat in the buffet. It felt like most things had an extra charge (e.g. €5 to borrow a tennis racket or replace a towel)

We have been to Torre del Barone and we are going to come back for sure. The location is great, staff is friendly and well prepared. The boutique restaurant Donna Floriana is simple and elegant, the staff knows how to respect your privacy and at the same time, let you feel at home. The beach was nice, the beach bar has some very friendly and helpful staff that can welcome you for a nice evening sunset happy hour. Pro tip: Alessia at the beach bar serves a very nice grapefruit soft drink and entertains you with a quick and pleasant chat.

Rooms could be a tad tidier, but nothing major.

Except the receptionists, staff mostly doesn’t speak english and not that easy to communicate. sometimes you’re having confusing moments.

Incredible stay! The staff made us feel welcomed and like family, they went above and beyond to cater to our every need. The facilities were impeccable and the thermal pools took away all our stress. The food was fresh, delicious and healthy. The pizza was actually the best we've had in Sicily, we have been travelling around the island so this is a big claim to make! The only problem is we didn't want to leave the accommodation to explore the surrounding area! Internet was great and we were able to get work done.

The high chairs were extremely dirty on the breakfast menu and the pizza restaurant. Coffee machine terrible my husband is Italian the espresso and cappuccino were hoooorrible

The resort was easy to get to and surpassed expectations. We tried the pizzeria restaurant which was great and the sunset views from the bar really topped off the stay. We hope to return soon!
