Hotel Olimpico

Everything is perfect from the check in with so polite and nice staff to the beautiful lobby and room. Parking is easy and totally free. The breakfast is just faboulous, really impressive! Everything was just amazing.

The bed was comfortable on one side, but the other side was too soft and seemed to sink in, making it a bit uncomfortable.

Although it is in a very run-down area, the hotel itself is very bright and clean inside and the bed was very comfortable. We also loved our dinner and breakfast at the restaurant.

The only negative is that we booked at this hotel, planning to take their shuttle bus to the Christmas lights in Salerno except upon arrival we were told the bus only runs on Saturdays. That needs to be much clearer as we would have booked in Salerno if we knew the shuttle was not an option.

Staff and the reception are always available (both in person and on the phone) and willing to help - thank you! Good breakfast, comfortable and quiet room.Beautiful seaside nearby. The small playground was nice.

In December, everything around is closed, no places with sea view, no ice cream around, etc. The shuttle bus to Salerno is only in the evening. I would highly prefer to go during the day when it's beautiful! (Christmas lights are ok, but I'd want to at least catch the sunset; but ideally also a boat to Amalfi or something). It also wasn't clearly communicated that the shuttle needs to be booked asap even in low season, we missed the best time for us because it was booked out. The taxi in the morning to Salerno was 60 EUR. So the shuttle is a really great option, but the schedule is not the best.The restaurant in the hotel only opens at 19:30, we were starving and would prefer earlier (especially with a little kid).

Lovely, clean, well looked after hotel. Food in the restaurant and at the pool bar in the day was amazing! Lots of car parking, and a few outdoor activities in site to keep us entertained too

Only 2 minor things. The pool is not heated, so in October while the air temperature was early 20's, the pool was only for the brave!Location was the other small negative for us, While the hotel complex is great, private beach access too, it's not a location where you could walk to other nice places. With a car, it was fine, but 20 min drive to useful touristy places or a further choice of restaurant.To be clear, everything was as expected, but if we hadn't got a car, we would have felt a little isolated there.

Lovely swimming pool. The shuttle service to Salerno and the airport was really useful. We had a lovely meal on our first note. The apartment was fabulous and we loved the private garden and small pool that we shared with the adjoining apartment.

The tennis court was a nice idea but it was in poor condition. The balls were also knackered and the rackets all needed restringing to be effective. A couple also needed new grips.

Amazing place close to Amalfi and in short range (by car) of everything you will want to visit. Breakfast quite good by Italian standards. Well maintained and clean pool.

Don’t expect the beach to be usable - it’s a dirty dump site, plus frequented by horses. Avoid the hotel restaurant, dinner is of poor quality and expensive. Hotel is only an option if you arrive by car, otherwise you’ll be lost out there

Very clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was excellent.

The staff were excellent especially the restaurant staff. The food was first class and so to the breakfast buffet.The room was comfortable and clean. The shuttle service was very efficient, and the drop off points at the port and railway station allowed you to plan your excursions.

The surrounding area is in need of investment and a walk along the coastal area difficult.

Beautiful resort hotel with private beach. 4 star restaurant on site. Very reasonable price for the room as well in the restaurant. Great breakfast.

Everything was perfect.

Nice, modern hotel, friendly staff, especially the bar man, great cocktails. Hotel looks really good, our room was upgraded and had a massive jacuzzi inside. The hotel looks good, just like the pictures.

Breakfast was awful, worse I have ever encountered. As we had to catch a boat, we were one of the first to breakfast just after 7am. All the cakes were stale, hard and dry. The Scrambled egg had bits of shell inside, the salmon smelt like it had gone off. The waiter struggled to find breakfast tea. Our room was not cleaned to a good enough standard the next day, the jacuzzi wasn't cleaned well enough and cups, rubbish and food was left and not taken out. No iron in the room, you have to take your clothes to the basement to use a communal iron. The fact the hotel is so far away the shuttle should have been more frequent. It is 50 euros cab from the port/station should you miss the shuttle.

Overall, it's a nice hotel. The breakfast and restaurant are good. The rooms are clean and nice. It's not a very new place, but it's well maintained. It is far away from anywhere but they have shuttle bus which is very handy.

hot breakfast items were cold most of the time. the standard rooms in the basement part of the hotel with no views but the tea managed to find a better room for us. the shower cubicles are bit small.

Bartender was amazing and breakfast exceeded expectations.

Location was not optimal. The shuttle was helpful, not properly communicated or well timed & he went in the opposite direction to get fuel during our drop off.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The hotel is perfect for families, with excellent food that exceeded our expectations. The shuttle service was very well organized and made everything so convenient. Highly recommended!

Breakfast. A good choice of food from sweet to savoury. We had cold breakfast some mornings and hot and cold other days. We used the Landry room . Which was very convenient

A water fountain by the pool would be a good addition.

The staff were fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful! Pool was lovely, hotel was very clean.

Sadly the area the hotel is in is very run down and there are no shops within walking distance, very remote BUT the hotel lays on a free shuttle which is great.

The hotel is not near any other restaurants. Luckily, the restaurant at the hotel has an extensive menu.
