    • Amazing staff - so friendly and accommodating. Delicious food, we loved all the pasta dishes. Great pools, great location surrounded by greenery and close to a beautiful quiet beach
    • Swimming pools were nice
    • We spent the 25th of April and the rest of the weekend at Mangia’s Selinunte Resort and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Every detail was carefully thought out, making us feel special from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere captured the true essence of Sicily the food was absolutely incredible, full of authentic flavors that made us feel like we were sharing a meal with lifelong friends. The bar was a highlight too, with an especially friendly team who made every moment enjoyable. A special mention to the Calogero Negroni hands down the best Negroni we’ve ever had, crafted with passion and skill like no other. The staff throughout the resort were incredibly warm and welcoming, always with a smile and a kind word and the director Giampiero, as always, was so humble and approachable, making us feel not like guests, but like part of the Mangia’s family. It’s rare to find a place where every little thing is done with such heart and care, we can’t wait to come back! 100% recommended!

    Cons -

    • The restaurant feels a bit like a canteen. It could be nicer with dimmer lights and some music
    • Ants all over the bed, food was awful, middle of nowhere location, bed was super uncomfortable, the hotel smelled really really bad like a sewer, they don’t do laundry or room service and yet they say it’s a 4 star hotel
    • The animation team could be more inclusive to all guests instead being inclusive to certain nationalities. The room table was at times infested with ants and it appeared cleaner did not clean this. We wiped it down ourself to stop ants being on there. Food could be better as we ate out most of the time due to food being very bland and not displaying the full Italian food experience.

The property was a beautiful resort with various facilities. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful when needed. The property is generally clean.

What I liked the most was the exceptional dining experience at the Scausu Grill. Chef Dimino Giuseppe, the friendly bartender, and the waiters Michela and Filippo made us feel right at home. My daughter especially loved the delicious dishes prepared just for her – a special touch that truly elevated our stay. The Relax Pool was also a highlight, offering a peaceful spot to unwind. Kudos to the helpful lifeguard who assisted when my wife was stung by a bee!

The indoor areas were uncomfortably cold, especially after returning from the pool, with a stark temperature difference that made us feel almost unwell. The breakfast area could also use improvement, as there were many wasps outside and the indoor section wasn’t as clean as expected for a hotel of this standard.

Nice beach, wide breakfast selection, comfortable mattress, helpfull staff

Property feels past its prime-quite worn out, it was lacking cleanliness

    10SofiiaPosted on: 7-5-2024

Kind staff, very good food, we had a chance to try a lot of Italian cuisine ( pasta with seafood, cannoli), good alkohol choice, big green territory. Great animation, music at the pool. Mainly guests speak Italian and French. They have a train to drive to the seaside, however you can also reach by foot-10 min

if you would like to visit some touristic places they are quite far away from the hotel

It had 2 swimming pools and nice views even if it was difficult to see the sea on panorama. Pizza was very delicious in the restaurant.

Ants everywhere; the water wasn't passing in shower; there was a smell of cleaning chemicals the room; the conditioner wasn't possible to control: or it was too cold or too hot; there was no water in the room, only first day was a date and that's it. It was impossible to have it doing the night as well; thee wasn't espresso o cappuccino, it was even impossible to order. Only machine coffe which wasn't delicious absolutely.

Close location to selinunte temple and the beach. The shower had great pressure and the room was very nice. The pillows could be a little softer but that is very personal.

I did not like the disco right under the rooms. Luckily the loud music stopped at midnight.

Very nice, modern resort with gorgeous garden! We enjoy every minute there. Staff were great, professional and helpful. The pools were great.

    9LuciePosted on: 10-3-2023

We appreciated the variety of activities the hotel offered - pool (aqua gym), fitness, evening programme. The staff was kind

Check-in at 4 PM is relatively late; check-out at 10 AM is the opposite. The cleaning process at the breakfast and dinner lasted longer, so the tables remained dirty and with dirty dishes. There were sometimes ants - in the room.

    7DavidPosted on: 9-27-2023

Modern hotel with lovely landscaped gardens. Staff were great.

Too much loud music at the pool and late at night

    8DenisePosted on: 9-12-2023

Info wasn’t clear about access to the beach. The ride there should be extended to later hours in the summer. Water sport activities were closed on a Friday!!

    9AlexPosted on: 8-6-2023

The location per se is stunning. Food is high quality and the staff is professional and kind

The position is not the best as you need to walk about 10 minutes to get to the sea (under the sun)

    10RichardPosted on: 7-31-2023

We were very lucky to have stayed the weekend of celebrations

The car park was far away in the heat

    7StefanoPosted on: 7-24-2023

middle sized resort with 2 swimming pools, a lot of sport options and nice private beach (and much more). very gentle service from the stuff.

the structure starts to be a little bit old and needs some maintenance. Shower box was a little bit old and not exactly perfectly working. Path to the beach needs a big intervention also for safety reasons, to put a disclaimer at the path entrance is not correct

    5MatijaPosted on: 7-12-2023

Nice remote location with sea view

Very averige breakfast with low quality food. Imposible to sleep as loud music is playing until 1am.

We stay in this resort for one week, the structure is very nice brand new.The stuff is very professional and helpful for

the pool was nice good for my baby!

no water in the room, actually only one bottle fridge was empty. the bed for the baby was old ruined and actually gross, unacceptable at a 4 star hotel

The staff were lovely and enjoyed meeting Roberta, she was so welcoming!
