Mauguio Center Hôtel

I had an incredibly positive experience at this hotel. The owner was gracious and helpful, he made me feel like a special guest. Breakfast was delicious and generous, the room was so clean and it was very quiet at night.

Excellent. Classified two star but should be three star. I stayed in room 201. A clever use of space and materials. The bathroom is a delight. Accssories of a high quality. Very well and thoughtfully appointed. Great town, plenty of trendy places to eat and the supermarket in walking distance. Small convenience store attached to the hotel. A surprising and very welcome find!

In the center of Mauguio, close to parking areas and to the bigger Montpellier metropolitan area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was slightly smelly of humidity and was not super clean.

The location, the very complicated way to arrive late, follow the instructions to get inside, the very, very steep staircase to bring your suitcase with you. The absolute absence of things for your stay: a glass, the complicated ways to get access to wifi, the towels hanging so high up that couldn’t easily reach them. There’s more to say but …

We did not have hot water for 2 days, so we were forced to have cold showers. The manager was extremely unhelpful (rude) and did not apologize once for the situation, only saying how it is not his fault, blaming the electricity company / staff who he told to change our room (according to him) / us for showering twice per day / he never had this problem before... Very unpleasant person, he makes you feel like it's your fault that the hot water is not working...

Stayed one night on our way to Spain. Ideal place for 6 people. Free parking 100 meters from the hotel. The kitchen in the room has everything you need.

Everything was wonderful. We'll come back here on the way back from Spain

very Nice room in the center, perfect for few days

- tight corridors in the building- floor is made of carpeting so there were some surprises (a little bit dirty)- Gets really hot/moist in the room even with A/C- Room and building feels oppressing, there is not that much light (little windows only)

We are on a 3 month bicycle trip. Mauguio Center Hotel was very accommodating to our needs. Had a great place to store our stuff. The staff was great.

I feel like other reviews were dishonest. The place was unclean (blood stains on sheets, stains on the walls, carpet peeling up, refrigerator not clean), smelled of cigarettes in the hallway, had poor maintenance (visible wiring connectors on ceiling light, door paint peeling off) and very basic decor (definitely a cheap hostel vibe though I've seen hostels that looked much better than that). There really was no effort to make the place look nice.

A quaint family-owned hotel, the only one in town,, I think. Very clean and well fitted out. Staff were very helpful with my heavy luggage. They also directed me to a really good falafel restaurant next door. The town is a real gem. About 8km from downtown Montpellier and also ~8km to the airport and, I'd say, 8km from the beach.

There were a lot of stairs. Normally, okay, but I had big luggage. The staff pitched in to help me with that.

Good location. The receptionist was really helpful.

The pillows were uncomfortable, should be replaced with smaller ones.Bring your own earplugs because the church is next door.

The location is great! The hotel is located in the center of a quaint village. The directions for entry and parking were very clear. The staff went above and beyond (giving us a couple more coffee pods and milk) and always friendly! Everything was available on site. The beds were comfortable, and there was even a flat sheet.

The cleanliness was okay. We had the 2 bedroom suite which was located on the third floor after a maze of hallways. The steps were steep but the overall space was good. the kitchen sink was very smelly. This is a good hotel for a short stay.

Clean, big rooms, good location.

Nice location. Nearby square with friendly bars. Young man at hotel spoke great English. Hotel decor was of high quality.
