    • Location is ok, just that carpark was not operational as it's under renovation.Had to park at carpark opposite and pay out of own pocket.
    • Dormy Inn was an easy walk from the bus stop. The onsen was my first in Japan and was incredible!

    Cons -

    • The location is a bit far away from the train station. Walk is about 10-15minutes.
    • Carpark was not subsidised.
    • The bed was very firm and pillow flat and firm.

Brilliant room with multiple sockets for charging devices.(Essential in 2025)Comfy bed with great pillows.Great roomy shower.Parking on site.

Very little. The coffee with breakfast wasn't great. That's about it!

Great location, Onsen very clean and well designed rooms. Bed was perfect

Only thing that could be improved is pillows

    8DougPosted on: 4-15-2025

Rooftop onsen and sauna was great.

Rooms very small but adequate for a shot stay. Not very comfortable but coffee shop around the corner was a savior.

    10NaomiPosted on: 3-26-2025

Very clean room and facilities. Great service.

Free hot baths and free noodles, ice creams and massage chair!!

    9DavidPosted on: 3-26-2025

Spacious room with lots of outlets and hangers. A sliding door between the entry and the bedroom area helps cut down noise from the hallway. Nice public bath. Excellent breakfast. Microwave ovens on multiple floors. Comfy loungewear. 11:00 am. Checkout time. Excellent value for money.

Only a shower in the room, no bath. Rotemburo in the public bath area is nice, but quite small. It’s near a nightlife area, which means people coming in at late hours, so bring earplugs.

This was my second time staying with Dormy Inn at Hachinohe. The reason for me to visit Hachinohe is mostly due to my great experience with dormy Inn. I enjoyed their onsen and the chill corner outside of the onsen. On top of that, they have free apple juice, snack and soba served everyday. The room is spacious and there is a live status of the crowds for the Onsen, washing machines and dryers. The staffs are friendly and helpful too.

It was my one time driving to this hotel. I was quite confused with the instructions given by the carpark attendant and he got angry with due to the miscommunication. However, that does not affect my trip and the overall experience with this hotel.

Absolutely loved this Dormy Inn! Smiley and chatty staff, made check-in a breeze. They also gave good recommendations to enjoy some local dishes.Room was very decently sized for a single, didn't feel tight at all. It was clean, well stocked with amenities and PJ's were present too.Location was very good for restaurants and bars, only a couple minutes away from Miroku Yokocho. Bus stop from main spots in Hachinoe was 2 minutes away as well, JR train station was 15 min away. The onsen ... Oh so goooooooood! Spacious, peaceful, quiet, ideal for a soaking and relaxing.

Didn't notice any negatives to be fair. PJ's were a bit worn out maybe, but clean. Apart from that, I was quite pleased

Pleasant property with good location, and room was spacious and as described on site

I am sitting here trying to think of a negative, but i can’t think of any from my experience

Excellent breakfast buffet, friendly and efficient staff, good location, and the evening free ramen (we did not partake but I am sure it is very good as their breakfast was fabulous). I have stayed at other Dormy Inn properties before, and this one is very much the same but probably a little better. The indoors and outdoors hot springs are wonderful, and the area super clean (I am particular about cleanliness in bath areas…). In fact, the entire hotel is very clean and well taken care of. Breakfast buffet is plenty and full of amazing choices. It may seem a little lacking for those who prefer western style breakfast, but for those who are adventurous, the many local dishes this hotel prepares are worth the price. The room may be small but has all the needed amenities. It is helpful to have the services on the TV such as if wanting to decline room cleaning, or if wanting to check if hot springs or breakfast room is busy. My partner especially enjoyed the water pressure and the never ending supply of hot water in the shower. Parking at the hotel is 1000 yen per day and only allows exiting and entering once each day if staying over 2 days. If needing to come and go, there is a parking lot less than a minute away on the same side of the street as the hotel that allows for 20 min free parking. My partner and I really enjoyed the stay here and would come back again.

A couple of the staff seemed a bit cold and not very willing to help. Perhaps it’s because they didn’t feel comfortable speaking in English and my Japanese was terrible. It is a big contrast to the other super helpful staff which was why I noticed the difference. In the room, as desk space is limited, it may be helpful to have the TV hung on the wall instead.

Dormy inn is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in Japan regarding value for money. Room was spacious (in comparison to other standards rooms in japan). Very clean and staff is super helpful and nice

    8AgnesPosted on: 10-12-2024

Can do your laundry for free & only 100 yen for using the dryer. Room was comfortable & clean.

    Nothing in particular.

    8LiviaPosted on: 7-26-2024

Very clean, central, nice onsen and very kind staff

Small rooms, the staff doesn’t speak English well

    10DougPosted on: 6-27-2024

The onsen and location of the hotel were superStaff were helpful and helped me with the sending of luggage to the next hotel

I'd say probably about the only things to improve on would possibly be to include a breakfast option (even if it's just toast/boiled egg) for all rooms - even the "discounted"

    10ShengPosted on: 6-2-2024

Great location and the bath on the top floor was also great. Staff and receptionists were very friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely book again.

    8VeronikaPosted on: 5-20-2024

Modern rooms, nice complimentary sauna with hot tubs, free massage chairs and snacks. Wide selection of Japanese food for breakfast. Complimentary coffee and juice in the lobby.

Staff doesn't speak English. Even though the breakfast offered a wide selection of local food, not much to choose from for a European "standard" breakfast.
