Simple clean accommodation in the right location by the harbour.

Central position close to turistic port. The manager supported us because we made a mistake during the booking. Everything was solved immediately. Much appreciated

Solid breakfast, a little bit few choices

We got a very little room, compared to the other available ones. The wifi was very week, if any. The bathroom was ice cold, there was no even possibility to warm it up.

Good sized room. Secure bike lock-up, but not sheltered from the rain. Excellent lounge area in which to sit and chat at night, with tea and coffee available. Very good breakfast.

I was a returning guest. This visit was VERY disappointing. I would NOT recommend this hotel!

There is no parking available at this hotel.I was told that I needed to either park at a pay lot across the street, or free parking is available on the street.So I parked on the street next to the hotel just 50 meters from the front door.I was not told that there was street cleaning the next morning between 7-8am.Consequently, I was stuck with a $45US parking ticket when I checked out at 7:15am.The hotel could care less.The ambivalance bordering on arrogance was rude and dismissive.When I insisted on speaking with a manager, it took days to get a terse reply addressed to "Dear Mr"."Dear Mr".Not even "Dear Mr Watkins".How embarrassing!the manager couldn't even bother to spell my name!!A complete lack of any personal touch, empathy, or concern for my frustration that they should have taken some form of responsibility for my ticket.As far as I'm concerned, the management bears the full responsibility of training their front desk employees to either give a handout to guests upon checkin detailing their parking options including any restrictions within the immediate vicinity, or make sure to look at the calendar to warn them of the restrictions on the streets surrounding the hotel.They also get an F for check in because the wifi access info I was given upon checkin was incorrect, so when I got back to my room after 8pm there was no one to talk to to get the right info. There was an emergency cell number providied, but I wasn't going to call someone at 10pm for the correct wifi network info.The incomplete and inaccurate parking information given me by a hurried front desk clerk resulted in a $45US perfectly avoidable parking ticket. (or in other words, a 25% increase in my one night's stay room charge).I am astonished that they "blew me off" with no interest whatsoever in offering me even a small a discount on my room rate to offset my $45 parking penalty, and no wifi.

great location by the sea. very windy and pleasing. walkable to city center and local taxis easily available. one can definitely prefer this hotel to save money and enjoy a cozy comfort instead of spending more in a fancy hotel.

cozy rooms. bed mattress can be better. only few rooms have a good mattress, but it is manageable, and staff supports in changing them.

The beds were unbelievable bad, the mattress probably wasn't changed in years, no comfort at all. Really killed the vibe because I couldn't sleep on that thing at all.

Room was good. Breakfast super. Bed good.

I told the staff we had bugs in the room. They didn’t give us a reduction and they haven’t contacted me with an explanation. The bugs were invasive and they need to take action.

Its ok but we didn’t get the information when we checked in about the code we need for the entrance after 1 pm, so we had to call the number when we arrived

This was a lovely hotel, nicely decorated and clean. Bed was comfy and decor tasteful. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice. The hotel don’t provide food or drinks apart from coffee but there are nice restaurants nearby so not a problem. Would happily stay again!

We were grateful the hotel had a lift as we suffer with knee problems. Unfortunately the lift didn’t work! We got stuck and it was a bit scary but we were soon rescued by staff.

the outside of the hotel did not look as good as the inside, inside was beautifully decorated in style. it was clean, comfortable bed, good staff and well created breakfast. both the hotel ánd the surrounding were cosy. parking was easy.we will come back here

Excellent breakfast. Rooms were a bit old but clean. And very close to the club I was visiting.

The rooms were small and the beds didn’t have proper mattresses on. I am pregnant and it wasn’t comfy for me. Not what I was expecting for the price.

Easy access from main roads and parking (external). Great closeness to the island Ven ferry. Friendly staff. Being at home feeling. The greatest of all breakfast buffe with perfect boiled egg. Access to a newspaper. Very clean room and able to open window. Beautiful view from room 22. Closeness to city with shops and restaurants. Access to cutlery off breakfast hours. Simple check out and no waiting times whatsoever. Always access at night with code.

Waiting time getting into main hotel door due to only one person having to do everything. Slippery stair case. Sliding toilett seat. Perhaps an electronic key instead of a heavy old key.

Great breakfast, cozy room, nice staff and clear instructions for the door if you got back to the hotel after staffing hours.

The room got a bit too hot but that could be because of the unusual heat outside.
