Pros +
- Easy to find, and restful stop over.Nothing around so no where to eat out, WiFi a little limited in the rooms out the back area.No bottled water in room so take your own.Otherwise a nice stay over for a night or two.
- very nice studio, completely equiped. nice sitting area outside
- The apartment at Hotel Burgholz was a great place, very comfortable and clean, with plenty of windows and daylight, and all the necessary for using the kitchen. Parking was also available, and the place got cleaned every day.
Cons -
- shower curtain, no breakfast on monday
- The location was not ideal in my case, as all my points of interests were overall a bit more south, but it is less than 1 h from many different places (e.g. Aachen, Bonn, Cologne, Eifel national park, Monschau), so it's not bad if you want to explore the area and don't mind some driving. Also, the closest restaurants or groceries shops are in the close towns of Duren or Kreuzau, about 15 min by car. But there is a nice cafè-bakery at 5 min walk from the hotel
- Traffic noise in distance.

Clean, efficient check-in, very friendly hosts
Ideal place for a one night sleepover on the way. Very modern and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Night entrance with individualised code went well.
This hotel is ideally situated for visiting the Eifel region and the cities of Cologne and Aachen. The hosts were knowledgeable and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. We had a lovely meal at Mediterana, Italian food. Highly recommend.
Traffic noise in distance.
The owner was super friendly. The apartment was clean and spacious. Good position for visiting the Eifel region with a car. The blinds in our room were not going down, and they fixed them before we even asked.Absolutely recommended.
the room was clean and large
it is outside from the village center, anyway it’s very close to Duren
Everything was spotlessly clean and the husband and wife management team were delightful - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was outstanding and tremendous value.
Nothing comes to mind!
the rooms and the apartment were super clean, tidy and spacious. The amount of painting made it look super nice.
Very clean, good air-conditioning, nice bathroom
No breakfast, shower curtain was like a chainmail. Cold, uncomfortable.
Lovely staff, including assisting me with self checking in the middle of the night. Nice coffee too
