- Quiet family run place in a typical rural setting
- The room was large, comfortable and beautifully furnished. It was very clean and well equipped. The evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic, and the breakfast as excellent, with a huge selection. It was lovely that our dog was welcomed, even in the restaurant. The place had a very cosy, friendly feeling, with two nice tabby cats in the reception area! Lovely location, the village is exceptionally beautiful.

Cons -
- It was very hot weather, and a fan in the bedroom would have been an advantage. Also, tea /coffee making facilties in the room would be lovely, especially for people who have arrived after a long journey, as we had.

We expected something more substantial for breakfast. The evening meal was good and the location is great, nice and quiet. The decor is a bit outdated but it was fine for one night. this was our second time here and both times we enjoyed it.
This is a wonderful place to stay. Peaceful, quiet, in a picturesque village. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds and armchairs. The restaurant beautifully furnished and decorated. The access from the nearby motorway is easy. Breakfast was very good and the lady who welcomed us was very nice. Also the man we talked on the phone on the arrival was very helpful.
Nothing to complain about.
Friendliness of owner and staff. We're delayed for our scheduled check-in and when the code for the key box didn't match the owner was very responsive when contacted mid evening. Next morning I was referred to a place where I could do a 2 hour video call in peace and quiet for no extra charge. I was even offered coffee during my call
Due to our late arrival and the hotel being quite busy parking was a bit of a challenge however managed to squeeze in. Again due to our late unstaffed check-in the room numbers were a bit confusing in the beginning - a simple sign on the walls in ground and 1st floor could easily solve that
Excellent location, very good service and food. Also a cosy, well equipped room! Polite and respectful stuff.

Hello everyone! I would not recommend this place.Make a booking - they confirmed it. I informed them that I will arrive later, around 21-22. During the day and traffic, the time of arrival changed and I wrote a message to the hotel about it.After 10 hours of driving at 23-30, I came to the place and it was closed, no one there, and the phone number was turned to voice mail, cause no one pick it F***n up. They didn't inform me of anything that can happen and they decided not to wait on me. So loyalty place. And The Booking support works so not-wonderfully and so not helpful that nobody could speak at night, the chat gives the answer in 24 hours. Very helpful in the most important time.
Enjoyed a beer and excellent local food in the restaurant. Very helpful staff.
The parking could have been a bit easier.
super clean rooms, lovely peaceful location only 10minutes away from motorway.
An absolutely lovely place to stay! Friendly personal, big clean room, simlpe but very nicely decorated, comfotable bathroom with all the facilities. Everything looks solid and new. A very good restaurant with old furniture and decoration. The various breakfast was served perfectly on time. 2 lovely cats make you feel at home)
I wish the pillow was harder, it was too soft for me.
For those looking for a fairytale experience, this hotel is for you. Not only is the German architecture from a bygone era, the hotel itself is located in a picturesque village decorated in wintry, festive style in preparation for Christmastime. The hotel staff were absolutely lovely both in welcoming their foreign visitors and supporting us every step of the way. The continental buffet filled our stomachs and set us up perfectly for the day ahead. Will definitely return should we ever come this way again.
Nice traditional German hotel with a very friendly staff and lovely breakfast.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. I was looking forward to have diner as the menu looked nice.
