The location was great. Staff in general was good.we enjoyed our stay..

When we checked in we had to carry our luggage up the steep stairs. My shoulder was hurting from a bike accident. The employee saw us struggling with the our luggage and just sat down at the base of the stairs and played with his phone…..he watched us drag the luggage to the second floor… we were so disappointed.

The room was spotless and the hotel is very close to phantasiland and is located right on the tram that takes you to the center of Cologne which was nice

The breakfast was in very inconvenient hours (between 6:30 to 9:00) which forced us to wake up earlier than we planned. The breakfast itself was modest. Stale bread, a supply of lunch meat that didn’t renew after the guests finishing everything. The coffee was bad. Definitely not good. The road and train were very loud at night. We couldn’t sleep very well. The room is old and worn. The place needs a refresh. The price did not match the quality.

Breakfast choice very limited & only available until 9.30am. Had to ask for basics like spoon, bowl, coffee. Staff not very friendly.

A bit outside of Cologne but right outside of the tram station, so the hotel is well-connected and easy to get to. The rooms were amazing, like they were stuck in time warp. Completely 80s style. But everything was well-maintained and comfortable.

The bar and staff were very good for watching the football

The person who stayed in the room before us had been smoking, and they had used the shower cap to cover the smoke detector, and it was still in place !!The shower leaked all over the floor, and we had to use all the towels to soak it up, we did inform the staff, but they were not that bothered.Outside our room, work started at 07.55, digging up the pavement

It was clean and quiet, staff were friendly, our room was big and breakfast was really good. Close to an overground station that takes you in the city centre.

- The woman at reception was great - a lovely, warm welcome. - Breakfast looked good and was open for a good length of time. - Beds and shower were all good; room also had a fridge and a safe. - Location was a simple 20+ minute tram ride from the centre of Cologne (no changes required and ran until around 1am).

- The twin room we had was below the ground floor. Absolutely fine for the one night stay we were there for, but for a longer stay we'd definitely have preferred a different room. (Pretty sure they only had a few rooms on that lower floor, so probably fairly unlikely to end up with one anyway if booking). - Location was ideal for trams into the city centre (<1 minute walk) - just worth noting that I'd imagine some light sleepers might find the noise of the trams irritating.

Location, comfortable bed, friendly staff, excellent food, plenty of parking, and I repeat location. The s-bahn 18 station is just across the road, takes you straight to the Cologne Cathedral and further, or even to Bonn.

Shame it doesn't have air condition.

Internet connection was not very stable

breakfast was nice. and bed comfort was well.

the furnitures are very old. Not vintage i can say too old. and internet was bad. We should check the emails but we couldnt get internet from hotel. Especially we choice this hotel for internet. also noone couldnt help in the night. additionaly there was no slippers after bath. And some personal items were missing we saw.

I booked this hotel for my friends and after they arrive to reception they call me, there is no room for them. After I sent them booking comfirnation and long discusion they found out on reception, that the personnel game this room to other person and it was the last one. It was late night and after long waiting time they clean another room for them in baseground. It was so cold there and room was the wurst possible. Never try to trust this hotel.

The staff was extremely nice evrything was very clean and the bar and breakfast was very good.

wifi was very bad. they said they had it checked and do not understand why it didn’t work dining was on terrace only with people smoking everywhere

Great overall. Nice staff. Good food. Beautiful room.

The only complain was that the room (suite) was really hot. Like we both didn't sleep at all and only had 2 hours of sleep that night and it wasn't even that hot outside just inside. And having the windows open and even the balcony door didn't help at all.
