B&B HOTEL Dortmund-Airport

The location is very convenient to the Dortmund airport for those with a car.

We arrived shortly after 3pm and saw a sign that there was no person at reception between 3pm and 5pm, so we tried to use the self-checkin screen but only got an error message. Fortunately the reception agent arrived at 4pm so we could finally get our room key code.The room was tiny, not even space for a suitcase. Fortunately we had only small carryons. And it was cold, taking a long time to heat up after we turned on the heat. They offer a simple breakfast for EUR 13, which wasn't worth that much. And although there was ample parking they charged EUR 5 for it.

The room was clean, a little bit small, but comfortable and very close to the airport. The breakfast was good

Very clean, just enough space, very nice blinds for the window, staff is friendly and understanding.Almost perfect, see in the negatives section.

Theww small detalis only, non of them are deal breakers, the toilet paper was thin like air, the AC was in central control mode, so it can not be changed to cool the air, and even after setting it to 18 degrees, after a couple of hours it jumped back to 22, and the TV does not had internet connection so even if it was YouTube and Netflix capable I could not use it, also no settings are available, so if you like to have a little light when you fall asleep you can not set it... (sleep timer is available)

The room was so small that if you had a large piece of luggage, there was no place to open it. It really was absurd.

Confortable beds, nice bathroom.

I couldn’t sleep because of some strange low noise. I thought it could be the air conditioner, but it was off.

Newly renovated and sparkly clean. 15 minutes by foot to the airport.

The check in can only be made at the check in machine placed in front, but, there is no access to a toilet, i arrived there at 14:20 - and no toilet acces, which is not that great, second, there is a lamp at the small table where you enter the room on the left, the lamp is very bad placed, and after i worked a bit on my laptop, and i got up, i hit the lamp with my head and the lamp broke, luckily i did not got any serious injury just a scratch, the person at the front desk, told me i am the 6th in the last weeks with this, i suggest this has to be changed, before someone gets severally injured .

A room was a bit too small

For over night stand it is perfect since it is close to the airport. What I expected that I get. Nothing more.

Selfchecking. Sometimes it freeze so you need to start all over but at the end is ok.

For 1 night stay this was a good option, especially the target was to meet a friend at airport and next morning to drive to Berlin.

No breakfast they offered, because the breakfast area was under renovation.The room was super small.

The check in machine in the entrance wasn't working well for self check in after 10 p.m. A good thing for emergencies there is an emergency number for help, but it's very problematic for foreign travelers if the mobile network is not working in that country.

It was spotlessly clean and appropriate for a one night stay. It wouldn't be good for much longer.

It wasn't communicated that there was no lift and we had very heavy luggage. The 'robot' who checks you in should be programmed to put people who are 70 years old on the ground floor!

In the first floor you can smell cigarettes. Now smoking just at front door and close to rooms window. Would be nice to have smoking area just a bit far away from main hotel entrance

We were looking for a place to sleep close to the airport. The distance is about 15-20 minutes walk. Because the rooms are double, we booked two. One of them had the smell of air freshener and urine marks on the toilet. We asked for a change and the man at the reception changed it for us immediately. The rooms are small but very comfortable.

Everything was allright, and clean ,and new stuff inside ,just made it new furnituri bathroom,bed pillows.

I loved it. Super clean, rooms are perfect for a good night sleep 15 minutes away from the airport. The bed was really good. You can't expect extra facilities, but the money requested is fair for the price. There was no reception interaction, but the sel check-in machine is doing the job. Just be patient. In the end, the code provided along with the room number is the same to unlock the hotel entrance door. You do not get a bill, but you can request it afterwards via email.

Everything is new ,furniture, TV,heating and cooling system,the carpet on the wall was really nice and modern, on the floor also the carpet wad cleaned. Bathroom renovated, really nice.
