parking, quiet, nice facility, location accesible to Trapani and area

We left the property feeling a little disregarded.

Two days prior to our arrival we received a note from the hotel tellng us they would not have a room for us due to a "maintanance problem in the room". They stated that they had booked a room for us at a "comparable" lodging - at no extra cost - and offered a free wine tasting. When we arrived to ask the front desk where the new location was, and requested more information about why we were turned away, we couldn't get any answers. Being Americans, we have a habit of wanting to know the "whys" of a situation. The other lodging wasn't comparable, asking price per night (on Booking.com) was $73 for the alternative vs. $178 for Firriato - no offense to the other location. We were never offered a price refund for the difference. I have a long career in hospitality and would never treat a guest like this. Shame as it appears great care was put into building a perfect location - we will never know. Daniel and Linda Shanks

Wasn't informed about arrival of where pool breakfast or dining was. We had to ask these questions. Also wasn't pleased with pigeons in the pool

Long uphill walk to the room, very confusing to check in as there are no signs where to go from parking area. We finally found an intercom and they made it sound like I am inconveniencing them to ask for help with luggage. Also they say luxury 4 star hotel though simple things like soaps for the room and trash buckets are better in 2 star hotels.

Everthing was perfect arranged and very friendly People. Ideal for relaxing en enjoy the quite lifestyle. A must to visit Sicilië the theme dinner at the sly lounge was excellent and gorgeous view of the surrounding winyards, even at night. The aperitive theme with wine teasting at the winyard was Excellent. ...

On the weekend the person at the reception was not (yet) available at 8.00 a.m. to check out.

Super clean and spacious rooms. The staff was very kind and friendly. The location was close to Trapani city. Even though it was not located in the city centre, it is a nice area in the vineyard and convenient to travel other areas.

The breakfast is a continental and fairly basic, would expect some more local things to try. Even though the rooms seem to be new, you can hear everything through (we heard the upstairs guests talking loudly and even flushing the toilet)

The location on the vineyard is breathtaking and somehow quietly nestled just a short distance from the highway (easy to get to). Breakfast is great - the staff for the most part is excellent, the pool is beautiful and refreshing - the food/ chef/ service are really outstanding in the restaurant. This was the biggest surprise - some of our favorite dishes were eaten at the hotel. Well done!

Really can't think of much to improve upon.

We had dinner with wine pairing which was delicious. Staff, location and room facilities were excellent. Great location for visiting Segesta

Everything - Baglio Soria is one of those special places that offer a genuine and blissful escape from the world (if being surrounded by vine, palm trees and rolling countryside is your idea of bliss!). The views are stunning wherever you go, and the food and wine are truly delicious. The highlight for me however is the staff who were so warm and welcoming (and patient!) and were always on point with their wine recommendations. A very special and memorable place, I'll definitely be back.

Nothing - just be aware you do really need a car if you want to visit the surrounding area (taxis with equally kind drivers are available though!)

Very nice hotel overall. Fantastic dinner with engaging, knowledgable staff. Nice quiet room, tranquil, convenient location, comfortable bed, beautiful view from the front of the hotel.

Breakfast was perfectly okay but that’s it. But I’ve had better hotel breakfasts while elsewhere in Sicily. having been so impressed with dinner at Baglio Sorìa the breakfast was just not at the same level . No fresh orange juice which in a land of orange groves seems a gap. That said, v good, fresh pastries. Room had no view to speak of which was a shame.

Beautiful location with lovely rooms overlooking the property. Enjoyed wine on our patio before doing the wine tasting dinner. Pleasant experience. Delicious breakfast too

We didn’t get to taste the local wines but otherwise stay was great

Comfortable bed. Great food and wine. The wine tasting dinner was a good education to Firriato wine. Giuseppe made our trip—he is extremely knowledgeable and gave us excellent recommendations. We ate in the restaurant three nights as the hotel is out of the way. Food was very good. Nice big pool.

Room was very dark. In spite of having two sets of terrace doors, only one set of exterior doors would open. Terrace had not been swept in some time. Our bathroom was dirty. Mold in the toilet and shower. Sink looked like it had just been wiped out. Lighting was poor for applying makeup. Ended up sitting on terrace with a compact mirror for better light. No full length mirror.

ONE LADY IN RECEPTION WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AS WAS A YOUNG LADY AT BREAKFAST - BUT OTHER STAFF WERE A BIT GRUFF AND SEEMED UNFRIENDLY AND UNHELPFUL. NICE LOCATION OUTSIDE OF TOWN.

The location amongst the vineyards is terrific, and Trapani is close by.

The staff made us feel invisible, as if they were totally uninterested in independent travellers. There was no information provided to us about the property, let alone about the area.

Very restful area in county side of Sicily

Service from senior staff, specifically from front desk person was not a 4 star greeting. Lacks client servicing skills .Younger staff on resort were all fantastic and very helpful.

The location is quite nice, it is a bit outside of Trapani and the view on Erice and the landscape is nice. Otherwise there is no positive experience :/

The pool was dirty and the pool area was shabby. The shower was not working at the pool and the pool bar was not open. Also the sundowner bar was not open.The room was rather small and the bathroom was not as clean as expected.The service was really unfriendly. The people were several times shouting at each other, this made it very akward as a guest.For the dinner we wanted to change the fish on the menu. However, we were not told what we would get instead. We got some pork with cold potatoe stew. For the dinner we were not offered any wine but had to ask for it. We were nearly finished with the dinner when we got the wine.We wanted to do a wine tasting, but we’re waiting for 15 minutes without being taken care of. When we asked for the reason, we were just told to be quiet and wait. This is where we cancelled the wine tasting and also our dinner. There are good restaurants with far better service.Clearly no value for a lot of money.

The views around the property are lovely, and it’s a very peaceful location. Giuseppe was the best member of staff at this property. He was attentive and provided service with a smile. The pool was nice and we made use of it on our second day as it was non operational when we arrived.

The other staff were either overworked or disinterested - it was had to tell which. You can rarely get a drink at the bar as it was generally closed if staff were busy at other areas. They didn’t seem very well organised or engaging with many guests - the hotel is a little bizarre to be honest !
