Excellent location. Very courteous staff. Daily room service. Clean. Hot water. Cold AC.

Parking can be a bit difficult.

Iocation is perfect, and staff was very polite

Rooms are rather small with dated furniture. Mattresses were very uncomfortable, uneven heights, split in the middle..felt like climbing and falling whole night . Bathroom and cabin was on a smaller side, with drainage not working well and door not closing properly. Some maintenance and investment needs to be done

More basic but very practical poperty with everything you need, close to harbour and old city, nonstop reception, kind staff.

Amazing location - very easy to get to from the airport (there’s a bus to the city centre). Close to the beach, ferries, restaurants…Staff are all very friendly and lovely.

Showers (specifically the shower head) are a bit old and can be changed as the water pressure is all over the place.

The hotel is in the centre and everything is in a walking distance.Staff is very friendly and helpful.The room is a good size and bed very comfortable.There is also a lift in the hotel.

I had requested 2 single beds, which was confirmed before hand, but got a room with a double bed. Wasn´t able to sleep because of the bar below our window

Lady in administration when I checked in was perfect - the best administrator I have ever had. Good location.

Very loud at nights as there are bar/cafe near hotel. So not possible to sleep until 3 a.m. Hotel shouldn’t have given that room to guests at all or should some reduced price etc. Pillows were uncomfortable, didn’t used at all. Bad smell in bathroom - maybe some chemicals used for cleaning, but I didn’t like. Not worth money that I have paid. At least twice as much for all these circumstances.

Location couldn't be more perfect! Very comfortable, staff was super helpful, and they even arranged an early check-in for us.

Nothing to dislike.

I have stayed at the Maccotta before and was generally pleased with the location rooms and value for money.in those respects it was exactly what I expected, so therefore pleased.

In my room the shower, although a sophisticated item did not perform that well, the best function for me involved water being squirted straight at the screen which then leaked externally. Drain could not cope with the amount of water either and had to have short showers to avoid floods.

Great location, next to the clock tower, fantastic hot and powerful shower and very friendly & helpful staff.

It's right next to a reataurant/club - i had a room ovelooking the street so my window opened up onto the street where these tables were. I like the fresh air in the evening, but I didn't want to open the windows because of people smoking at the restaurant downstairs and the smoke came into my room (I'm a non smoker)Also with the bar below - it was blasting out music until late - 70s disco - so not such a bad genre... but if you want to sleep anytime before about 1am it's so noisy with the music and people chatting in the street.

Wireless doesn't work. Hotel is old and it needs some restoration . we asked for a clothes iron, and they brought us a clothes iron that didn't work.the towels had some stains.

Right in the centre, with 24 hour reception staff who are very helpful. It is no 5 star hotel but it is clean, down to earth and great value for money

The hotel is located in the city center.

A lot of noise was coming from the street till 2 a.m. and we could not sleep properly. The room was full of mosquitoes. Okay only for one night.
