ibis Muenchen Garching

Clean, comfortable, and exactly what you expect from ibis, in a good way. The location is convenient, especially if you need quick access to public transport, and everything feels well organized and easy. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe is calm and practical.

The individual who checked us in, and was subsequently there for the next couple of days was not only not friendly, but so off turning that we will never come back again.

The breakfast certainly isn’t what it used to be and is certainly not worth what they charge.

Good location in case you wish to attend some game on the Allianz Arena. Hotel is okayish, nothing special, but does the job.It was clean, it was comfortable.

Paid parking works just odd, it is only in policy written that you have to pay 10 euros a day.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. It's a perfect place if you're going to a football match. The metro station is just a few meters away – only one stop to the stadium. The staff was very kind, and the breakfast was good with a decent variety. The room was clean and very practical; we didn't miss anything.

The entrance to the bathroom was raised by one step. It felt like being in an airplane toilet – quite small, but fine for just one night.Price for night was double because of match, of course. :-)

Hotel is easy to reach with the car, has a garage (additional payment), near a subway station (around cca. 30-40 minutes to the city center), breakfast is available (additional charge a bit high but breakfast is diverse). Staff is very helpful. Rooms are basic. Replay to you request and questions to the hotel are fast and helpful.

Have in mind that the hotel is located at the edge of the town and there is a limited transportation available on weekend and late at night (check when the last subway train is going to that specific station). We did have a problem finding a taxi, uber etc. late at night in that part of town.

Breakfast was good, staff were friendly. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Easy to reach with public transport (I came from the airport via train and bus). Overall it was fine.

Quick access to Munich downtown by U-bahn

No free parking. You either park in the neighborhood, sometimes quite far from the hotel or pay 10 euro for an underground parking lot.

Good connection to the Garching station, friendly personnel, clean room with comfortable bed, good breakfast, good bathroom

80s style room with limited power outlets

Really close to Allianz Arena - we managed to walk home after the game. 24 hour bar was good.

The major plus is the vicinity to a subway and bus station.

The room was ok but very simplistic. The interior design is rather functional and uninspired. Sufficient if you all need is a place to sleep and have a basic breakfast.

Practical and easy to get around the town as good location. Stayed for a music concert

I travelled for work and decided to stay at this hotel. I enjoyed my stay, it was clean, comfortable, excellent bathroom and shower and was not noisy. I enjoyed dinner, the dining area was clean and comfortable, food was Excellent, and the customer service was Fantastic. The hotel staff was great and made my stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was great during my stay; my only suggestions would include a shuttle to the closest grocery store.
