Hotel Hoyacker Hof

Excellent hotel 2 min away from the U6 station and 5 min away from the TU Munich campus in Garching. Bavarian style, rich breakfast, good Wi-Fi.

Breakfast buffet was extraordinary. The coffee was very good. Lovely staff.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - one of the best I’ve seen in Germany. The location was great for exploring Munich. The local area was also great - Augustiner Biergarten & restaurant (delicious food, btw) just across the street, grocery store and UBahn stop just a little further, and a couple nice bakeries all within walking distance.

As quaint as actual metal key with the large wooden keychain was, it was a bit cumbersome. Especially as a runner, trying to tuck it into a running pack to carry with me.

Overall great experience. My minor gripes: 1. Would have been nice if there was a fridge in the room. 2. The chair in the room and the pillows were not the most comfortable for me.

Always good to be back at Hoyacker Hof. The place is really nice, with a cosy atmosphere. The room is clean and confortable. The staff is friendly and professional. Gorgeous breakfast with a lot of choices both on sweet and savoury sides.

I stayed at the hotel with my old mother. We are fully satisfied with our stay at Hotel Hoyacker Hof. This is the most beautiful and coziest hotel I have ever seen. The hotel looks like a real toy museum. It is decorated with a huge number of amazing toys that you want to look at for hours. Our room was very cozy and bright, with a wonderful bathroom. The breakfasts were absolutely incredible. I have never seen such a variety of food anywhere, and everything was very delicious. All hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a charming green district very close to restaurants shops and the metro station. I will only stay at the at Hotel Hoyacker Hoff during my next visits to Garching.

The hotel was nice and warm. The breakfast was very good. If you sleep there is no noise from outside or inside, the shower is great an warm, everything is nice and clean, the bed was great only a littlebit crackly

My oppinion is that the hotel was full of frills, which makes it cozy but above all very busy.What I certainly didn't like was seeing the stuffed animals in the morning, such as a duck with its youngThe breakfast was very good, but my oppinion is that there was too much choice of small snacks, if you reduce this amount of small snacks and only do the regular thinks as yoghurt, cornflakes, granola, bread, crispy baked rolls, toast, eggs, bacon, fruit, drinks, koffie, milk, bread spread......Then you have more room to walk around, especially the cutlery corner (my oppinion is choose a different position for it)Also at the breakfastcorner it isn't possible to put your plate somewhere to fill it up or to cut the bread, because of the fully tables.

Very good location in the center of Garching, within 2 minutes walk you can make it to the uBahn going to the Munich center. The rooms are equipped standardly. Breakfast is exceptional, lot of to choose from and the dining room is so cozy.

You can see that the furnishing of the hotel is old, but the rooms are okay clean and beds comfortable. The hotel has a good vibe, rustical but really cute. Free parking in the garage is great. Staff very nice and friendly! Breakfast was exceptionally wonderful, one of the best we have ever had in a hotel - surprising variety both in food and beverages. Definitely recommend.

Location was great. Restaurants and beer garden around the corner is in walking distance. The breakfast is a spread and a wide choice of everything. You have to pay extra for it but it is worth while.We come back every year. The venue is quiet although the centre of town is around the corner. I'll give it a 5 star rating any day.

I can't think of anything.We are both over 80. There is an elevator too and we could park our car inside their garage.The U bahn to Munich is also in walking distance.

Quiet, close to MUC and easy connection to Munich via train. Super rich and lovely decorated Bfast room.

Breakfast is great - though slightly less impressive than previous years. Hard boiled eggs were made upon request.Bread variety is great.

an apparent yoghurt shortage. The water could be super hot and likewise on could get a burn in the shower when touching the horizontal bar. Only one Safety handle in the shower seems insufficient.

Great location, just a few steps from the metro station. Cosy rooms.

Nice location in center of Garching. Good transport link to munich center. Nice places around for eating, coffee ect. Has a lift.

No air conditioning. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Take care on the marble stairs where treads are thinner at one end, hold on. Preferably use the lift.

We love that the hotel is in a quiet spot, yet close to subway and airport.... and we love the Breakfast room.
