FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole

Great location looking over Florence. Bathroom in the junior suite was great and the water pressure in the shower was amazing.

We booked over new years and paid a premium price, however when arriving they had not set up our room as requested so it took additional time for staff to come in and setup the sofa bed. Other furniture was removed from the room so it felt very bare. There were no plugs next to the bed and no extension cords available even at reception. The breakfast only caters for 9 tables/rooms at a time and so every single morning we had to wait for a table and had other guests fight over availability! Not what we expected from the price we paid! We do not recommend.

Too many stairs to reach the reception. An unpleasant smell in the common areas maybe due to the renovations nearby.

Thw views were incredible. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was awesome. The customer service was truly the best I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend.

Staff is very kind, rooms are well equipped. Restaurant is fabulous.

In the evening there’s no hot water. You cannot shower or wash your hair.

Absolutely beautiful location with panoramic views of Florence. The staff are delightful and very helpful.

Bar service not available out of season, would have been better if you could have a variety freshly cooked options for breakfast included in the price.

The room I was ushered to in the darkest corner of the property. The ceiling inside of the room. What happened?

Dinners are very expensively priced.

First, being just (literally) above Florence with a beautiful expansive view of the city from the hotel's very pretty garden (with comfy seating and service) was delightful. Best part was the shuttle that would have you down in Florence or back in 20 minutes. (Just remember to reserve a seat early as there are only 7 seats and it runs every hour.)Second, the staff was delightful. There is a small hotel feeing and Nicola (the gentleman who runs the restaurant) and Francesca (at the front desk) had a natural instinct to make you feel at home and special.

Loved everything. Only thing I would note that the pool (which looks enormous in pictures) is relatively small with maybe 6 or so lounge chairs. We were there in late Sept and didn't use the pool, but I imagine in mid-summer it could feel crowded.

We loved the location near the town of Fiesole and our room was lovely. The food was vey good but most of all the staff was incredible! Nicola in the dining room provided outstanding service and always with a smile and happy attitude! Can’t say enough about our experience here.

It’s an absolute gem! The he view is ridiculous and just far away enough for the busy Florence but still within a 5 mile radius..Service was amazing and the food was delicious!

Beautiful quiet very clean hotel with very friendly staff and easy transportation to get to either Florence or Fiesole!

The Consierge was very helpful in advising us on the best ways to get about by public transport, which was perfect.Fiesole town was lovely, good restaurants espectially T45; small but well equipped supermarket and helpful pharmacy for our mosquito bites....!The Hotel breakfast and food generally was of good quality and well presented on the terrace. The view from the terrace and gardens was amazing. The shuttle service to and from Florence was brilliant.

The Booking.Com rooms were on the lower ground floor next to the laundry room and outer service door. There was a lot of staff coming and going and banging doors. Our room smelled musty and we kept finding tiny ants on our bed and our daughter's room had an intermittent smell of toilet waste. We were very disappointed. In addition although there was garden seating in the outside area the hotel did not have an indoor lounge area where we could gather as a family to relax and read a book. Also the pool area was lovely but the water was freezing even though the Booking.Com literature said it was heated.

Spectacular view, great service. Breakfast and dinner overlooking Florence was incredible.

Beautiful sunny views from room and lots of light! Loved this esp. at the full moon which glowed all through he night. Also the food in the restaurant was excellent!

Breakfast was very delicious, with generous choices. Our room was very comfortable, with high ceilings and a comfortable bed. We slept well. Turndown service was a nice perk. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Traffic noise. Although the windows were very modern and effective at blocking sound in our room.
