Il Salviatino Firenze

The location and grounds were stunning!!! Could not ask for more. We were in a junior suite below the main part of the hotel. Our only suggestion would be to add more lighting and a/c. The room was very dark. Suggest more lighting and air conditioning

Just needed more lighting...even lighter walls would help and more air conditioning.

Spectacular property and very secluded. Still good for Florence centre. Staff were very helpful. Deluxe Bedroom was superb.

Breakfast should be more for this price; and the pool area should be better stocked and better staffed - it doesn’t really deliver for the price.

The property is excellent, and the garden is the definition of Florence/ Tuscany.

The staff at the restaurant was confusing, Breakfast isnt included.

We loved the hotel, the infrastructures, the pool, the staff. Breakfast is good but no excellent. I've been in a lot of boutique hotels/heritage hotels around the world and that hotel deserves a better breakfast.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and we waited more than 1 hour for a regular meal with a OK quality and huge price. This lovely and charming hotel deserves a better restaurant with more quality.

The property and the surrounding grounds are beautiful, the whole experience is incredibly relaxing. The interior of the building is eclectic and interesting with lots of space to relax and unwind.The staff are second to none, very attentive but not overbearing and are always willing to help. The restaurant is beautiful, even though Florence is packed with an endless number of great restaurants we ended up having dinner there twice over our four days. It was beautiful.

This property is amazing. The staff, the decor,the dining, the grounds, simply one of the best hotels I’ve been able to experience. Paul the concierge went out of his way to help us, answer questions and was so kind and responsive.

Amazing villa located in a beautiful Garden. The entire stuff was very friendly and the food was amazing. It was great to have the shuttle from the Villa to the City Centre.

Stunning villa in a perfect location just 15 min from Florence. We stayed here with our 7 year old daughter and she absolutely loved the place, pool and breakfast.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, it was even better than we expected! The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. The entire place was spotless, elegant, and beautifully designed. Truly an exceptional experience, we would definitely come back!

The food, the wine, the staff, the pool, the view, the ambience and the style.......the fact that you are in Florence but you are not : it overlooks the City and is so close so at the end of the day you can retreat to this luxurious location (there is a shuttle bus to and fro into Florence hourly ......

This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The magical environment of the villa is topped with great, helpful, friendly staff. The food was amazing. We enjoyed the pool and a relaxing massage as well which were both exceptional. The hourly shuttle service makes life so much easier of you want to visit Florence too. Can’t wait to be back at Il Salviatino!

Quintessentially Italian. Extremely relaxing and beautifully presented.

The only thing I’d like to see improved is the pool area and to have a section which is properly heated - it was a lovely temperature for adults in the sun but too cold really for our 18 month old.

Amazing service that could not have been better. My husband and I ran into some trouble (theft in town centre) but the staff here offered every bit of help possible to alleviate the inconveniences and made our stay in Florence so much better than it would’ve been. Dinner was lovely and the ambience was great with a beautiful view over Florence. The hotel was beautiful and stylish with class, and absolutely lives up to its 5 stars! The spa is also a hidden gem that’s beautifully maintained. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Florence.

I rarely do give hotels 10 stars but this is a ten out of ten. It‘s pricey but worth every Euro. The serene atmosphere in the buildings, the huge pool in the park, the handy shuttle into the city centre, breakfast on a green and cosy terrace overlooking beautiful Florence. Don’t get me going about the cake buffet at breakfast! Can I say more? Will definitely be coming back with or without my picky and demanding teenager, who also loved the hotel.

Excellent breakfast selection, beautiful poolside setting, and quaint, quiet location outside of the city center.

Two mattresses were put together with an uncomfortable seam in the middle to make a king bed.

The staff were incredibly helpful warm and friendly. They accommodated our every conceivable need. They really went out of their way, they actually remembered our individual orders at breakfast each day and generally were so pleasant and kind. The grounds were gorgeous! Flowers everywhere surrounded by green rolling hills.The bartender at the pool was so fun and gracious. The pool was divine! The spa was lovely and restful with a delicious hot spa in which to relax.
