Altstadtmittehotel Sonne

Beautiful and well kept building was immaculately clean. Breakfast was exceptional and the location was amazing in the center of town.

The night staff was not the most friendly but the morning people were incredible

The location was great. Parking a little bit off site but not too far.

Checking in was a little difficult. Nice I parked by the elevator made it easy to get suitcase to room once I figured out where the check in was around the corner at another hotel.

Comfortable bed and great bath and shower. Quaint historical location.

Festive atmosphere- we arrived during a festival and the whole town was celebrating. Our room was clean too!

The Haus Sonne is connected to the building of the Hotel Sonne. It is likely more quiet as the windows open to a smaller side street.

The reception desk is stuffed into a small corridor connecting to the bar and kitchen. Waiting there during busy time leaves you no option but to stand in the way of waiters rushing by to the outside. Probably a rare occasion and first world problem-ish. Breakfast was Ok but seemingly without any options to drip brew.

The rooms were lovely. The meal at the hotel was fantastic and loved all the food that came. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We paid for the accommodation prior and they tried to charge us again when we were checking out

The room looks good, it’s a combination between new and old, everything is very clean, staff is friendly, for beakfast you have plenty of options to eat.

I didn’t like the qualily of sheets. It’s like you are covered in plastic. And it was quite hard to carry on the stairs all the havy laguages to the top floor.

The AC made a weird and loud sound every 10th minute in our room 224. I wasn’t possible to turn off. Kept us awake.

Location was brilliant. Free town parking very close by. Breakfast was exceptional and hotel restaurant with traditional specialities great too. Staff were incredibly helpful.

The general atmosphere was awful. We didn’t feel welcome. At breakfast, my son was being shushed before even opening his mouth. The waiters used a highly unpleasant, borderline rude, tone.

The hotel is actually attached to the hotel Sonne, just in front. Hotel exceptionally clean. Staff most pleasant and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Altstadtmittehotel Sonne is located in a great location and has a very cozy atmosphere. The breakfast selection was just perfect, and the staff extremely attentive. Our duplex suite had remarkable views, a spacious bathroom and a large comfortable bed.

Our duplex suite was not the best deal for a couple like us since we spent most of the time outdoors. Besides a low sofa, few puffs and a tv, the upper floor of the suite has not much. I guess it would be a better fit for families with kids.The bathroom shower head could be updated to a larger one. And adding bathrobes will be very useful. If you want to rent bikes, go to the hostel Jugendherberge Dinkelsbühl or ask at the Tourist info point.

The room was not directly in the hotel . The location was in the building beside but connected to the hotel. The room was nice . The breakfast was very good too. You are in the center of Dinkelsbühl. Dinkelsbühl is a beautiful town.

The parking situation in Dinkelsbühl is not easy. But with a parking card from the hotel you could stay free of charge in Dinkelsbühl.
