Romantica Hotel Blauer Hecht

Great location to town, easy to find. Beautiful building entry and hallways. Great breakfast (which was included) with lots of choices served in a beautiful room. Wonderful internet connection.

Considering the grandness of the hotel I expected a bigger room and something more welcoming than white walls. Very stuff. Parking is in front but you have pay for it. Luckily it's not much.

The pillows were very bad.

We travelled with a bigger group. Several families with kids. It was nice to have the open space in front of the hotel for the kids to play and we got a separate room for dinner, which was nice.Staff was super friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the second floor. There is no elevators. Which wasn’t a problem for us, but something to consider about. Strollers could be “parked” downstairs. Even with the windows closed we could hear everything going on down on the street.On the first view the room looked clean, but under the beds it was extremely dusty.

The hotel was fine. no refrigerated in room

FRONT desk offered to keep anything we had in their fridge. Later when we ask them to keep a bottle of coke in the fridge the kitchen mgr started berating me and telling me if they do it for all their guests that they would go broke. Very poor way to treat customers using a service the hotel offered!

It was in the heart of the old town, on a very quiet market plaza. It was close to other restaurants and sights to see. It had the old world charm I was looking for. Breakfast had all the traditional German selections.

If you are traveling by train, you will need a taxi.

There is an old lady who takes care of breakfast, and I asked if they were going to refill the scrambled eggs and she started yelling at me that I had to scrape the bottom of the bowl, so I ate dry and burnt scrambled eggs. In addition to the fact that there was no hot water in the hotel, we couldn't take a shower.

Nice hotel in town...drop your stuff and then park outside the walls in a free lot..10 min. walk max. Family room was lovely - daughter had her own private bath! The pool was really nice and we also used the sauna and shower - didn't like that you had to pay for a towel at front desk for pool...if they are worried about theft, why not just ask for an i.d. or deposit? Great bfast with prosecco, if I remember right.

No air conditioning...room was a little bit noisy at night bc restaurant is right below (our room), so ask for a quiet room. They could do a little more

Brilliant location, lovely house, lovely staff

No lift, which is understandable because the house is old but is a drawback if you have mobility issues.

Clean comfortable rooms with good beds. Excellent location.

Pillows were a bit rubbish and the breakfast wasn’t great.

Location, swimming pool, large rooms

We had a plain but spacious and comfortable room and enjoyed having access to the small but clean swimming pool. We had one evening meal here which was excellent.

I liked the location of the hotel. It is located right in the center of the historic town, great to walk to everything. The room was very big and clean. The breakfast was great and the staff very nice and helpful.

The shower in the bathroom ( room 209) was not working so that it was not possible to wash us at all. Also the bathroom itself was also in rather poor condition and needs to renovation !

Great location in the town centre. We managed to find street parking outside (at a charge during daytime, free overnight). Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast (they even had gluten-free and dairy-free options). The furniture and décor is traditional/old, but that's the style of the hotel. Everything was clean, room was a good size, everything you need in the bathroom. For the price, it exceeded our expectations.

We arrived before check in. Our room was ready. There was space to lock up the bikes. Room was lovely. Breakfast was good and plentiful

Located in the heart of the city, it's perfect to walk around and near to everything.The breakfast is quite good and the hotel perfectly fits to the "romantica" view.

Excellent location. Charming clean room. But, it was the staff that made this a beautiful stay. All the employees, from the maids to the front desk staff, made this hotel a joy to stay at. I definitely recommend.
