Hotel-Restaurant Goldenes Lamm

Hostess was so helpful and welcoming after a transportation snafu that left me stranded outside of Dinkelsbuhl. The hotel room was spacious and warm and location was terrific - quiet street but only 2 minute walk to center. It was a lovely stay that I would recommend to others.

Parking around the back of the hotel was convenient. The room was clean.

The staff were abrubt, and we felt like an inconvenience. Dinner was advertised in our room as being served until late, however when we went down to the restaurant just after 8pm we were told it was closed. No apolgogy, or suggestion of where else to get food in town. We had children to feed and it was pouring rain outside.

The rooms are great, free parking is provided on the property, a nice breakfast was available for a very reasonable price, and our host was friendly and helpful.

No dislikes.

Everyone was so welcoming. Doris spent time with us telling us the history of the hotel and even helped us numerous times with our German speaking skills.

Very nice hotel, great location very close to the center of the village, everything is perfectly clean, and they have a really great breakfast selection.

Only the fact that the rooms do not have a fridge.

Great location within 2 minutes of town centre and restaurants. Large room with comfortable bed and good facilities. Secure private parking. Very friendly and helpful owners. Restaurant was closed the days we were there but received very good recommendations from the hotel. Good breakfast.

It was a bit expensive compared to the other hotels we stayed in in the area.

Doris the hostess and owner made us very welcome and the hotel felt like we were in her own home. Well appointed and large bedroom.Beautiful breakfasts...specially tailored to each family's needs. Great spots for nightcap and chats. We'll come back in summer. A place we loved.

No complaints. One of the best places the 7 of us on a white Christmas trip ever experienced.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the old town and town wall. The room (triple) is very clean. There is private garage to park the car if reserved beforehand (garage seems to be shared with neighbouring premises but not a problem).

It is advisable to pack a small overnight bag instead of bringing luggages into hotel. It would be good to have a small fridge in the room.

The breakfast was very good and the hotel was the cleanest I have ever been. the staff was very helpful with my inquiries on where to go in the city.

The location was in the old town so very convenient. We were able to park right behind the hotel. There was no lift, but we were able to enter from the back parking directly to the 2nd floor. We had a nice breakfast. Overall a nice stay.

Although we arrived when the restaurant was closed the hotel management arranged dinner for us. Rather good breakfast and excellent location right in the center of a spectacular historical town.

Great location in the center of the old town. The breakfast was nice and free WiFi was included. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

It was very warm (June), and there were no fans or air conditioning in the room. They were kind and gave us a small fan when we went down to the front desk and asked for one. It was cooler outside than in so we slept with all of the windows open and the mosquitoes were really bad. I would certainly stay again, perhaps when it is cooler.

Visited Dinkelsbuhl and had a delightful time. This small hotel is such a wonderful place with wonderful staff. The ambience and atmosphere were lovely.
